Perfect location, very walkable to many amazing restaurants, beach, and train station. We stayed in room #1 which was perfect us since it was in the first floor. Very quiet little alley way which was literally just steps from the center of town. I secretly want to gate-keep this property as it was a true value without sacrificing quality. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone staying in Mallorca.

O quarto que ficamos estava sem ar condicionado, improvisaram um ar condicionado portátil o que impossibilitava o fechamento da porta do banheiro, o cheiro de esgoto no quarto era muito forte. O Wi-Fi não funcionava direito e nem a televisão. Enfim, não ficaria novamente

Camera 8: ampia, pulita, letti comodi, molto luminosa e arieggiata, bagno con bidè, doccia con buona pressione dell'acqua, con fornitura di sapone, shampoo e persino balsamo. Colazione buona, con frutta fresca e vera spremuta d'arancia. Arredi e mobili sia della camera che degli spazi comuni belli e moderni. Davvero un bel posto, ci tornerei volentieri. Per raggiungere la nostra camera c'erano due rampe di scale.
- Anthea (10/5): Great place to stay in the old town. - This is a lovely find in the old town, tucked away just off La Rambla, so extremely well placed for the sights, shopping and transport links. The attention to detail is second to none, and you can tell that the family really care about the service they provide. Good continental breakfast with great fresh bread. Would definitely stay again.
- Linda (8/5): - The location was great and overall the property is quite charming. Daily breakfast was excellent. Main things to know about this property: there is a lot of street noise (people partying, etc) and there's no elevator. While I wouldn't expect an older property to have an elevator, something to note is that the stairs are quite steep so you'll need to be mindful carrying your luggage up and down. All things aside, I'd definitely stay here again.
- Eric (10/5): - The apartment we have rented was large, well equiped and charming . The beds were especially comfortable. The location is very central in Palma, which is briliant to reach the main attractions by walking. As the hotel rents both rooms and apartments we weren't able to have our breakfast with the hotel, as it sounds reserved for the rooms of the hotel, and not the guests of the apartments. That was unclear in the description of the rental . The apartment is within an old building, and if the other occupants make noise when going in/out you might be awaken by the noise. That aside i really recommend this place to stay in Palma.
- madeleine (10/5): Bra läge i Palma - Vi Anlände utanför öppettider men det var superenkelt att hämta ut nyckeln och checka in. Bra frukost. Mycket bra läge mitt i stan men på en tvärgata så det var väldigt lugnt och tyst. Mysig takterrass med sittgrupper och 2 st solsängar. Fräscht, nyrenoverat och rymligt rum (nr2) med kylskåp. Fräscht badrum som hade bra drag i duschen.

- Andreas (10/5): Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen! Tolles Hotel! - Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt! Vom Check-in über das gemütliche Zimmer bis hin zum sehr aufmerksamen Personal hat alles gepasst. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, sollte sich vielleicht Ohropax ein einstecken, da es doch hellhörig ist vom Flur her. Aber die das tut dem herrlichen, wirklich liebevoll restaurierten Canavall keinen Abbruch. Das Frühstück war super, der Zimmerservice kam täglich zur Reinigung und man ist super zentral mitten in Palma. Wir haben die vier Nächte sehr genossen und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Pas conforme pour les petits enfants car appartement très atypique et sympathique mais dangereux car semi étage non sécurisé . Pas adapté pour handicapé car appartement sur 3 étages. Très. Propre cependant refoulement d’odeur d’égout salle de bain wc. Manque étagère pour poser affaires de toilettes dans salle de bain. Le plus terrasse très sympathique en roof top avec accès direct à la chambre. Nous y re séjournerons avec plaisir car très calme en centre ville et à proximité de tout. Le bonheur pour visiter Palma et son centre ville.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Expérience Canavall - Tout d’abord, a notre arrivée, nous avons trouvé la réception fermée à 4:00pm La communication a été facile et nous avons pu entrer. Je rejoins les commentaires précédents disant que c’est plus un Airbnb qu un hôtel de luxe. L’emplacement est idéal, dans la vielle Ville, à proximité de la cathédrale et des bus. Dommage que la rue menant à l’hôtel sente l’urine et soit remplit de cafard. Concernant la climatisation, impossible de dormir avec, cela fait le bruit d’un moteur. Pas de capsules de café, alors qu’une machine à café est disponible dans la chambre. Et je rejoins également les commentaires indiquant la présence de cafard.. et de sans abris à proximité.

La habitación está amplia, muy bien equipada con sabanas y toallas de excelente calidad. El desayuno hecho de productos locales está delicioso. Lo único punto negativo de esta estancia que mencioné al personal del hotel es el ruido que proviene de las habitaciones o edificios de al lado… El edificio es antiguo, se escucha todo y puede ser muy molestoso si les toca gente ruidosa, lo que a mi me tocó… Se escuchaba caminar por las partes de al lado 2 de las 3 noches durante la noche (3 o 4 AM…) que estuve y me despertó… Por esta razón, no puedo evaluar el alojamiento como excelente. Sin embargo, queda una muy buena opción en Palma por su ubicación.

- Elisabeth (10/5): Charming place & staff - It’s in a perfect location to discover the city. Very sweet staff and good style. The only thing I was a bit sad about was that the room was very dark. (Room nr 1). It‘s in the ground floor with very small, fenced windows. I imagine the other rooms are nicer. But however for a two day stay it was ok. I would not be happy in room nr 1 for a week.

Extra trevligt med lägenheter/rum med egna entréer. Bra läge på lugn bakgata, bara några stenkast från Gamla staden.

- yvette (8/5): - This is a small property in the best location. It is essentially a BnB in an old building. Rooms are simply furnished and our room was quite small ( room 2 on the first floor) and there is very little room to gang/ store clothes. Good quality bed linen, basic but fresh breakfast items and quietly understated service. We were very grateful for the kindness shown to us on our day of departure when after a long day sightseeing we were given coffee and somewhere to relax while waiting for the taxi that had been ordered to take us to the airport If you are just looking for somewhere to sleep in a very convenient part of town it is perfect.

Great instructions to collect keys and lockers to store suitcases for late departures. Just remember you need a euro to close the locker that you get back afterwards. We had a really noisy neighbour down under who slammed the door a lot really early in the morning, which was very loud. So bring earplugs. We were supposed to get a bottle of wine since being goldmember, but said 18€ when it got placed in the room.

- Maartje (10/5): - Hotel Canavall ligt op een super centrale plek in Palma, waardoor alles makkelijk te lopen is. Daarnaast is er op 2 minuten lopen ook een bushalte, wat maakt dat je ook gemakkelijk op de bus kan stappen naar andere plekken op het eiland. De kamer was heel netjes en het personeel zeer vriendelijk. Zeker een aanrader als je in Palma verblijft!

- Frank (10/5): Fantastic hotel in central old town location - Fantastic suite with a small outside terrace. This appears to be a new small boutique Hotel where they really concentrated on all the details. I will caution you that if you have ambulatory issues, most of the rooms require stairs, make sure you read their website thoroughly.

The rooms are tucked away in a quiet corridor of historic Palma and are immaculately well-furnished. Overall, an excellent value! I will definitely be back if I ever find myself in Palma again!
- Jens (8/5): - Ganz zentrale Lage in einem sehr gemütlichen Zimmer (#2). Dieses ist über einen separaten Eingang und nur über eine schmale, recht steile Treppe erreichbar. Sofern man damit kein Problem hat, erfreut man sich an einem sehr guten Doppelbett und einem ausreichend großen Bad mit toller Dusche. Das Zimmer ist etwas hellhörig, hier hängt es dann etwas von Tag, Gästen und eigenen Befinden ab, inwiefern das stören könnte. Ansonsten ist das Hotel in bester, verkehrsruhiger Lage! Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und findet in tollem, urigem Empfangsraum statt, die Auswahl und Variation der Speisen ist dafür eher überschaubar. Alles in allem haben wir uns bei 2 Übernachtungen sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Hotel/Zimmer wieder buchen.
- LEE (10/5): Lovely historic boutique hotel in Palma Old Town - The hotel is in a beautifully restored old farm building and is situated in a quiet peaceful street 1 mimute off La Rambla in one direction and Placa del mercat with its lovely bars, delis, restaurants and shops. We stayed in room one which was in a separate building from the main hotel. It was a nice cozy room with a large comfortable bed, flat screen TV and decent a size bathroom. We got complimentary water and a small bottle of fizzy wine which was a nice touch. The room also had a coffee machine and a fridge. The host was very friendly and helpful and we loved the continental breakfast. The hotel is a grwat location and really good for exploring palma especially the lovely old town. We would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

La salle de bains avec douche est petite et nous avons eu une désagréable odeur d'égout pendant presque tout notre sejour. Très bon emplacement.

- Yngve (8/5): Nice location in central Palma - Nice hotel in a very central location. We got room no 1 which was unfortunately very dark, situated on ground floor. Weather was rainy so no chance utilising the roof terrass. Some issues with the aircon which was noisy. Nice breakfast with the best orange juice in along time.

The continental style breakfasts are excellent and plentiful with a good selection of pastries, fruit, meat and cheeses. The room was clean, spacious and well kitted out, with a room safe, kettle and coffee maker, hair drier, iron and board. Overall a very pleasant stay and would not hesitate to book this hotel on a return visit to Palma. The rooms are accessed by steep stairs, but this was made very clear on booking.

- Trudi (8/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Canavall. We are a family of 4 and stayed in room 5 which has a split floor. The room was very clean and will be cleaned daily if you put a sign on your door to be cleaned. We didn’t put the sign out on the second day and our room wasn’t cleaned. They have put in excellent measures to adhere to social distancing due to Covid. There are hand sanitisers around the building and we had our own breakfast slot. The breakfast consisted of fresh coffee, breads, pastries, meats, eggs, cereals and cheese - just what we needed. The hotel is in the Old Town, within walking distance to the Cathedral and good transport links to local beaches.

- v edith (10/5): Perfect accomodation in Palma - I had booked it for my parents, the room and bathroom were really wonderful and spacious, in a wonderful quiet location, a lot of attention to details, they even brought champagne for Xmas. A really lovely and comprehensive breakfast as well. The only downside are the stairs which are hard for older people, especially with large suitcases. It would be nice to organize a service to bring the suitcases up and down to the rooms. But it really was a wonderful place, highly recommended.

Each room is individually styled with large comfy beds and the fluffiest towels ever! Breakfast consisted of freshly baked pastries and local produce with freshly squeezed orange juice - delicious.

The room was lovely and exactly as described. The location is in a very good area whilst being in easy walking distance to everything Palma has to offer.
