- Gerry (2/5): - Must have been a wide lense camera
- Mary (9/5): -
- Yaron (9/5): - Excellent location within the old city, walking distance from train station. Close to shops restaurants etc., but quiet.
Lovely hostess met us at location, gave us two keys, offered the use of her bikes and provided necessary info. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Nothing

Comunque, tornerei sicuramente !
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely apartment in a very central location. Close to lots of shops and restaurants but quiet. It is in an old building with lots of character. Would definitely stay again if we return to Lucca.
- Eric (9/5): Superb -
- Luka (7/5): Good - Location in strict old town, everything very close and good, relaxed atmosphere. Very old building, but comfortable, clean and cosy. No parking at the apartment. Parking only on public places outside of strict city centre.
- Mr (9/5): Spacious apartment with all facilities near city centre and railway station - Very nice apartment located in the city centre and near the train station (10-15 min walk). Good facilities with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. The owner even lent us a couple of bikes which made it very convenient to visit the town (even though Lucca is quite small and can be done by foot).
- Jeremy (8/5): Lovely apartment in a good location - Lovely apartment in a good location Bathroom was small and difficult to use. Drain was blocked on arrival. Bought drain cleaner to fix.
- Basil (10/5): If you have a ridiculously early flight from Pisa airport, staying here the night before beats a taxi. - Clean, comfortable bed, great shower, literally seven minutes walk to the airport and fifteen to Pisa Centrale train station. Lovely staff!
- Dorothea (10/5): Exceptional - Everything in the apartment was really well thought out. AC was a welcome surprise in the august heat
- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alex (9/5): Very nice place. The person who met us was great. Clear instructions for everything. - Clean. Well appointed. Very good location. The shower was a bit minimal, but that’s about it.
- Sylvia (4/5): A bright very small apartment suitable for one person - Private entrance, Quiet corner location so had lots of windows,13 easy steps to first floor. Very compact one room kitchen / living space with curtained off bedroom. basic tea cofee, oil vinegar etc, provided. Coffee moka or drip machine. dishwasher, washing machine ( in the bedroom storeroom ) Comfortable bed, air con, good wi fi, bicycles available. It is clean and freshly painted with original beamed ceilings It is much smaller than the very professional photos would make it appear. An old apartment that needs updating to justify the price The first night there I was washing dishes when the pipes under the kitchen sink just dropped down and I was suddenly standing in water that flooded the living area. There is very little space or shelves to put anything anywhere. The two steep uneven steps down to the bedroom are difficult to negotiate especially at night if one needs to use the bathroom ...............as the bathroom is next to the front door!!!!
The bathroom is minute!!! two people could not even stand in it at the same time. The shower is just an alcove which has to have curtains or you would not be able to fit into it, the shower curtains are very difficult to arrange so that water doesn't saturate the floor and make it dangerously slippery., There is nowhere to hang a towel or shelves to put anything other than on top of a minute cupboard and it smells mouldy.
The kitchen section is very basic, the portable box oven sits under a TV. Microwave sits on the bench top taking up valuable space.
Apart from the table and 4 chairs the furniture is of the most basic type available. There are no shelves in the living area just a glass fronted cubboard with a few useless display things in, its delicate doors make it problematic to actually access the two available shelves. The couch is not has shown, it has a quilted removable cover which I guess is to protect it from getting dirty?!!!
I was in Lucca for two weeks, if I had not seen other friends apartments I would have maybe have accepted that this as typical of Lucca but this is a fraction of the size, they had modern renovations and elegant furniture. some even had two bedrooms.
This is way overpriced in comparison.
- Caterina (9/5): I would definitely stay here again as it was very close to the centre but distant enough to be peaceful and quiet. - Great, quiet location and lovely light that came into the apartment for most of the day. Ambra was a great host and welcomed me from the start. Parking was close by, so not too long a walk to get to the apartment. Ensure you have muscles to get your luggage upstairs, but I had Ambra who took my heaviest bag up! Everything was great though I am sensitive to old buildings that occasionally emit some rustic aromas.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was perfect for our 3 night stay. We arrived and left by train which took 20 minutes from platform to our apartment. We were met on site and given a tour of the apartment. We walked everywhere and enjoyed the use of the bikes to ride the wall. The bed is a standout comfortable mattress. We also appreciated the use of the washing machine. We still ate out but being able to make own breakfast and snacks was great. We would stay again. We were very happy.
- Wendy (9/5): Superb - Big apartment and great location. Only a short distance to the train station over minimal areas of cobbled stones with suitcases. There is a flight of stairs to the apartment. But it is very wide and easy to negotiate with suitcases. Bathroom is small but absolutely manangable.
- Aj (8/5): Lucca 2023 - The location is perfect for exploring Lucca, and the owner gave us great restaurant recommendations in Lucca and Florence. The apartment has steps inside that are quite deep, and should be made aware for visitors with mobility issues. The owner asked for cash the day before arrival on a weekend; banks and post office were closed for best exchange rates.
- Vincent (9/5): Superb - Very nice comfortable apartment
- Michal (3/5): Holiday on a reconstruction site - Flat is not that bad, but we were in the dust all our stay. While we have stayed here, on the stairs and corridor reconstruction has been in progress so we were all in the dust. Troley was moving by workers with dirty hands, always cloud of the dust came in when openning the door and the bad smell of the cement all the time.
- Stuart (9/5): Superb -
- Kirby (10/5): Loved it! Bed super comfy and great location - Great location and full of charm and character
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is absolutely beautiful, great to have a kitchen and washing machine too, right in the heart of Lucca , very quiet location but so close to everything. Amber the host was incredible, also got my reading glasses fixed by a local guy when I broke them . The bikes were also a lovely bonus too 😀
- Tu (9/5): Comfortable, quiet and homely. - Excellent central location in the walled city of Lucca. Well equiped apartment with supermarkets and shops nearby. Quite location. Parking is always difficult in this type of location. It’s a bit of a walk to the nearest reasonably priced carpark but well worth it. I would definitely recommend the apartment to other travellers.
