- Moema (3/5): Misleading listing and disappointing conditions, with concerns about accuracy and security. - The location is convenient and the check-in process was straightforward. The apartment did not match the expectations created by the photos. It was significantly darker, had no balcony despite the impression given online, and part of the bed frame was damaged.
The “garden view” was also misleading, as the apartment mainly overlooks a street. The building feels quite old, and I had concerns about security, as the main entrance door appeared to open without requiring a code despite being instructed otherwise.
When I raised these issues, no alternative solution or room change was offered.

Near train station that has the direct train to the city and only 10-15 min beach walking distance to cascais.
Lots of restraints near by good view from the room. Place has everything you need from beach umbrella to full kitchen equipment.
They keep it clean and comfortable!

- Marc (2/5): Durch den Baulärm sehr enttäuschend. - Gute Lage direkt im Ort und nah am Strand und am Bahnhof. Furchtbar: den ganzen Tag sehr laute Baustellengeräusche im Haus direkt neben unserem Apartment, die schon früh morgens begannen. Auch nach Meldung an der Rezeption konnte dagegen offenbar nichts unternommen werden. Entspannter Aufenthalt in der Wohnung war daher nicht möglich.

- Jean (9/5): We loved Estoril and our short holiday - The location is perfect very close to the train station and with easy access. The staff were exceptional responding to queries so quickly and pleasantly. The apartment though a little dated was on the first floor, accessible by lift and provided everything needed for a great holiday The lighting in the common area should come on on entry to the building and when accessing each floor. The lightswitch is hard to find and well into the building.

Also, the check in process was very stressful. I was contacted to do an online check in the day I was supposed to arrive. I was in the process of travelling and it was difficult to complete the task. Their website would not allow me to change the number of guests to 1, so I had to check myself twice and send 2 copies of my passport. Also, it asked too many irrelevant questions such as the flight number and time of the flight etc. Finally, the website did not allow me to enter where the passport was issued so I could not complete the check in. I had to contact booking.com and they had to intervene. They finally did send me a door code. This process should be improved. It is NOT acceptable.

- Anne-marie (4/5): good for young poeple who want to stay near the beach - Very good location at five minutes from the beach; flat a typical old Portuguese flat with old Portuguese furniture; washing machine; kitchen well equipped; huge table good for dinners and work; lots of old books in the shelves; nice lighting, French windows Very, very noisy at night from the in- and outside; some mold in the shower; one cockroach fled when I switched on the light in the kitchen; kind of smelly but that is rather normal in old buildings.
