- S (7/5): Cosy and homely stay - Ipekyolu Garden offers cosy and cute rooms more in the style of a homestay than a hotel. The view from here is lovely, especially, I imagine, if you're lucky enough to witness the hot air balloons flying (we weren't). The owner, Emin, responded to my many questions before our trip. He helped arrange a cab for local sightseeing and suggested options for vegetarian food in the area, which is a rarity. But the Avanos market square is a 5-minute drive from the hotel where one can find shops and hotels. We ended up having a tasty vegetarian pizza from Guzzii Pizzeria and a meal at an Indian restaurant close to the Goreme Open Air Museum on his suggestion. The stay comes with a complementary full Turkish breakfast which was sumptuous. In-house arrangements for food and refreshments at all times of the day would be a welcome addition to a lovely hotel. Emin also helps with the hot air balloon trip, but the balloons didn't fly when we there. Overall, a good choice.

The owners ara very kindly. Our flight was delayed and he wait for us until 1.00 am. The breakfast was really good and tasty. If someday we come back to capadoccia we will come back here. 100% recommamdable. 15 min from Goreme. 1 minut from Avanos old Town. Nothing

- Sergei (10/5): Exceptional - Very kind, responsive and at the same time unobtrusive hosts. They got up early to prepare breakfast for our early departure. Hearty breakfasts. I liked the family house with thick walls, not hot in summer. Amazing view of Avanos and hot air balloons from the restaurant and common area. Beautifully landscaped garden and BBQ area. It was possible through the host to book a hot air balloon flight at a good price. Be careful, low entrance to the family suite, despite the owner's warnings, we hit our heads
- Sedef_i (10/5): We had a very pleasant stay overall. - The property is in a quiet neighbourhood just outside the center (10-15min walking). There is a supermarkt down the street (it does not sell alcohol, fyi). The rooms are really spacious and beds are very comfortable. Shower heads look small but they have great water pressure. Breakfast is served upstairs against a beautiful view of the hills. We were told it is also possible to watch the baloons but we were never awake that early. There is a communal garden with seats and tables where all guests can hang out in. Our hosts were super attentive and helpful. The only thing I can come up with is the WiFi not being accessible in the apartment's bedroom. But we were able to connect in the living room.

- Misa (8/5): Good stay in Avanos. - We stayed in family suite with comfy beds. Good parking place is just next to entrance door. The basic breakfast is provided and lasts up to 11 o`clock. If you want to see major attractions of Cappadocia, including balloons, you still have to go to Goreme or Urgup. The host is friendly and provides many information you might need. The entrance to the apartament is bit ackward - tall people can easily hit the door frame.
- Susanne (10/5): Great hosts, Great rooms, Great location - Let me start with the hosts Derya and Emin, who are absolutely wonderful. Helpful with planning activities and so pleasant to be around. The rooms are comfortable and spotless clean. The garden is a wonderful place to relax and the location is an easy walk to town. Heads up, motorcyclists, Emin has a garage that he offers to those of us riding motorcycles. As we know that’s a huge plus. I highly recommend this place and hope to return.
- Rajesh (7/5): Good - The property is average and peaceful. There is a supermarket closeby. The city center is about 400m walking from the property and at times you feel isolated around. There are some good restaurants and pottery shops around the centre with a very beautiful riverwalk. Better to stay in Gerome in same budget.

The owner and his wife are very nice people who can help you in planning a local trip. Rooms are comfortable and extremely clean, breakfasts are really good and served in a nice room with view. There is a nice garden and the parking behind the house is very safe. I strongly recommend Ipekyolu graden

Breakfast was traditional and excellently cooked. A central location from where all tourism companies were happy to pick and drop. A must stay place if anyone is visiting cappadocia. He helped us on the places to visit and served wonderful and fulfilling breakfasts. The room was always clean and the customer service was outstanding. The hotel rooms were big and not cramped at all. Ideal for families with children. The hotel aslo had a beautiful garden with an awesome view to the city. Literally 10 minutes from the city centre by walk. Value for money great and pleasant family run hotel. There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

- Eva-Maria (10/5): - Schöne Zimmer, alle zum Garten hin, der viele Sitzmöglichkeiten hat. Leckeres Frühstück. Hübsche kleine Ort, wenn auch sehr touristisch, aber wir sind eben in Kappadokien. Das kleine Hotel liegt auf einer Anhöhe am Ortsrand, von wo aus man seine Touren starten kann. Beim Frühstück kann man den Ballons zusehen.

Le centre d´Avanos est à 5min de marche à pieds. Les hôtes sont plus que serviable ils sont adorable, vous aide sans soucis vous propose volontiers un thé ou café à n’importe quelle heure ! Le mari parle anglais et la femme seulement turc mais la langue ne l'empêche pas De venir vers vous ! Que dire sur le décor,le jardin est très mignon dans un esprit bohème ! Le calme absolu le soir et vers 6h vous pouvez voir du jardin le ballet des montgolfières ! Le petit déjeuné est fait maison si vous voulez dîner à l’hotel des spécialités turc Il suffit de réserver le matin pour le soir même. Nous en garderons un très bon souvenir de ce lieu si proche des Cappadoce et en même temps loin de toute cette cohue touristique ! Les chambres sont propre et spacieuses, la seule chose qu’il faut savoir c’est Que vous avez besoin de serviette parce qu’ils ne les fournissent pas. N’hesitez Surtout pas à demander des informations pour votre séjour au mari, il connaît beaucoup de monde vous amènera directement au meilleur endroits pour réserver vos activités ou vous dire avec franchise si c’est Une arnaque ou non notamment pour le vol des montgolfières qui est un vrai business ici !

Sahibi de çok ilgili ve yardımsever. Gönül rahatlığı ile tavsiye ediyorum. Çocuklar da çok memnun kaldı (bahçedeki hamaklara bayıldılar). Geniş ve konforlu odanın yanısıra yataklar çok rahattı...

- Samia (10/5): Avanos - Nous sommes arrivés très tôt et le couple nous a accueilli avant l heure prévue. L appartement correspond vraiment au descriptif . C est une maison d hotes très sympathique que je recommande. Le couple ont été d une aide très précieuse pour les informations sur les circuits les réservations de car franchement il nous a même déposé pour découvrir la ville et pouvoir réserver les circuits avec des gens de confiance. Je recommande cet endroit à avanos il est pas très loin de gorem et c est très bien comme cela. Le centre ville une merveille avec petite rivière ambiance. Mac do Starbucks . Un restaurant au top recommandé par le couple. Honnetement laissez vous guider par eux. Petit-déjeuner maison acces machine à laver . Adorable ce couple et leur hébergement . Idéal pour couple pour famille et celibataire
