• Natalia (5/5): Nie polecam! - Nowoczesny wystrój, klimatyzacja, pralka i suszarka na pranie, duża przestrzeń 1. Cześć apartamentu obejmowała pokój w piwnicy - bez wentylacji!! Okropna wilgoć, tak że nawet pościel robiła się wilgotna 😐😐 Klimatyzacja nie rozwiązuje problemu. Powinny być chociaż otwieralne okienka (okna są, ale zamknięte na stałe) 2. Brak moskitier = mnóstwo komarów 😐😐 3. Mieszkanie jest na poziomie ulicy - okna wychodzą na chodnik, przechodnie gapią się do środka, bałam się, żeby ktoś nie wszedł 😐😐 w innych mieszkaniach na ulicy są kraty w oknach. nawet moskitiera zrobiłaby ogromną różnice
• Kafiye (4/5): Infested by mosquitoes and dirty flat - Location was ideal for us since it was not too far from tram stop, which goes near main attractions. Mirko also kindly let us check-in a couple of hours ahead, which was very convenient. The flat needs a good deep cleaning, it was dusty all over the place, especially in the lounge upstairs (moquette was filthy there). The shower was dirty and really couldn't bring myself to use it, when I passed water on the floor there was literal dirt coming out all the corners. It was nasty, coming from a person that is not fussy about stuff like this. Mosquitoes were everywhere and we woke up every single day with bites. They kept us awake at night as well. There was like a trap in the flat, but did nothing. Bear in mind, we stayed in Italy for 2 weeks and it was the only place with mosquitoes... in May, on rainy days. Neighbours were too noisy and kept us also awake until 2am every night. Although not really the host fault, it made the stay more unbearable.

El apartamento del piso de arriba si bien tenía un dormitorio independiente con baño propio, no tenía techo, por lo cual desde el entrepiso se podía ver el domitorio, el cual no contaba con privacidad.

• Karen (7/5): A nice place to stay - We were met personally by Boris who was a most welcoming host and gave us a good tour of the apartment and its facilities. The building was renovated to keep some of the more interesting features giving the building character and personality. The apartment was spacious and had a terrace. It’s at the end of a cul-de-sac that has a great wee cafe next to public gardens and half way up the street is a lovely restaurant that also does fantastic takeaway pizza. There’s also a pharmacy. Aspects of the apartment looked a bit tired, not as fresh as the photos show, it would benefit from a wee maintenance refresh and a better clean between visits. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped but other apartments we have stayed in provided a basic store of coffee/tea/sugar/milk etc so you can a least have a cuppa when you arrive, and condiments such as salt and oil to save you from having to buy things you will only need a small amount of. The nearest store is a bit of a walk away. It was very close to the railway lines which wasn’t a huge bother for us but others may find it more distracting. It is a longer walk from the city centre than we anticipated, but you could take the tram to the station and walk from there.
• Anita (5/5): Bulla, confusión de departamento y falta de cosas necesarias en el departamento - Yo vi la página y busqué reservar para 4 personas, y por las fotos se suponía que era otro departamento y me topo con que es una habitación para 4 personas y yo puse que sean 2 habitaciones. Se escuchaba el sonido fuerte de las personas del piso de arriba y también el sonido del tren que pasaba a lado de la casa. Me dieron un número para que pudieran ayudarme con cosas del departamento, escribí a preguntar si tenían mantas ya que tenía frío y me dicen que lo siento que no había más y solamente teníamos una sábana, por suerte el chico que nos recibió nos ayudó para encontremos una cobija para 1 de los 4. En la cocina no había sal, azúcar ni nada que suelen tener los departamentos, al menos lo más básico. Que si uno llega a un hospedaje con cocina es para poder usarla pero no tenía nada de cosas esenciales como el resto.

Nada mas dar 4 pasos en el suelo los calcetines quedaban negros. La litera un peligro, entre la pared y la cama quedaba una separación considerable. Una persona delgada o un niño podría caerse facilmente.

• michele (10/5): - Zona ottima a mio parere: - a una 20ina di minuti dal centro a piedi - zona tranquilla, dove magari è più facile trovare parcheggio - Vicinanza a panificio/pasticceria, bar, torrefazione, gelateria, supermercato. Vicino anche ad un bel parco. Unica pecca è la vicinanza alla ferrovia, ma a me sinceramente non mi ha dato fastidio il rumore del treno che passa, ma è una zona silenziosa, quello è l'unico rumore che può infastidire. Come spazi interni direi ottimo ed è fornito di bollitore acqua, forno, frigo e freezer, lavastoviglie e lavatrice. In generale ottimo servizio, e le cose essenziali come sapone, asciugamani e lenzuola sono messe a disposizione. Disponibili i propietari e molto gentili anche gli addetti alle pulizie. Grazie dell'esperienza!!

Window was broken and left open so mosquitos got in, host would not fix it/look at it. Offered us bug spray instead. Host is not flexible with key pick up, don't be early or late. Semi far from centre. Lost our key, host was difficult to work with afterhours. Sat outside for an hour+. 2nd bathroom and loft room renovated poorly/cheaply.

I particularly chose apt with washing machine. While there was a drying rack. You really need a clothes dryer.

• Darcy (7/5): Good, clean, reasonable value - Main floor, so easy to access if you have bad knees etc. Patio is nice but mosquitos are not. Beds are not super comfortable. There is a train line running right by the apartment which runs frequently. It’s not excessively noisy.

• Kritika (1/5): Very poor experience, don't repeat my mistake - This property is a scam. The photos DO NOT represent the property's actual rooms and amenities. I stayed here for 4 nights and regretted every moment but I was stuck due to a non refundable booking. The property has acknowledged their issues and apologised for it but they REFUSED to provide any compensation for their EXTREMELY POOR offerings The list of issues with it are endless. They are as follows: 1. Amenities says dishwasher. But there isn't one. Even though I confirmed with the property if I had to bring my own dishwasher tablets. Proof attached. 2. Washing machine doesn't work. I specifically booked this property because I needed a washer but after multiple back and forth, they confirmed the washer needs repair. And refused to refund or compensate for any external washing services. In the end I could not use any washing services. 3. They provide you with a helpline number you can reach out to but they're not always responsive. We had asked for extra blankets and mosquito coils during the day and they only replied late at night, asking for a 20 euro charge because it was past working hours. Despite them knowing we requested earlier, they refused to oblige and we had to wait for an extra day before getting it. 4. There is no guide on how the property function works. A lot of liasing with the helpline needed to understand basic functions of the house

• Caelidh (10/5): Great apartment for a great price! - We loved our stay at the Giglio Apartments! It was a perfect place to stay over Christmas with a nice kitchen and washing machine. We loved having a loft and two beds, as well as a nice shower and warm house. The owner, Paolo, even left us a bottle of prosecco which was so sweet! There wasn't anything we really disliked. It was a little out of town, but that was okay for us because it was quiet and peaceful.

• Mali (6/5): Pleasant - giglio verde felt private and spacious and walking distance to central Florence. Car parking on the street was helpful. ground floor apartment was also good for travelling with luggage. The property smelt really musty like cigarette smoke, I could barely stand the smell. I had a terrible headache the entire time we stayed. The cupboards smelt mouldy, and you couldn’t air the place out because you would get heaps of mosquitos inside through the open door or window. This place needs a proper clean! Thick dust and cobwebs on surfaces, scuff marks on the walls- it didn’t feel clean. Listing says Coffee Machine, there were pods but no coffee machine? If you are a light sleeper you will be woken up by the train line running next to the apartment and people on the street. the apartment itself would be nice if it wasn’t let down by some basic things that need to be brought up to a better standard

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Tolles Apartment in Ruhiger Lage. Ca. 30 Min. zu Fuss vom Dom und ca. 20 Min. zu Fuss von Bahnhof Florenz entfernt. Ein kleiner Nachteil des Apartments ist die Ringhörigkeit. Wenn die Nachbarn nicht darauf Rücksicht nehmen, kann es störend sein zur späten Stunde. Aber alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - O apartamento é reformado, muito bonito e organizado, mas o segundo quarto fica em um andar subterrâneo e este estava sem possibilidade de uso para quem sofre de problemas respiratórios e rinite alérgica devido grande umidade e cheiro de mofo. A localização é boa, a roupa e cama e banho muito limpa e boa qualidade. Chuveiro maravilhoso. Poderiam deixar um detergente de lavar pratos e disponibilizar uma cafeteira.

• Isidro fermin (8/5): Nice and clean, good area. - The apartment was nice and clean, 10 minutes waking from Muratori Stazione Statuto Tranvía and 5 minutes from Penny Market, the area was good. The pillows from Giglio Green need to be replaced they were very bad and the place was plague by mosquitos. But overall is a good place to stay.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Molto pulita e accogliente ottima la comunicazione con il padrone di casa molto puntuale. Collocazione perfetta e comoda per raggiungere il centro. Unica piccolissima pecca avrei lasciato a disposizione degli ospiti una caffettiera e dello zucchero.
• Sebastian (6/5): OK Place at fair price. Not more, not less. - The place itself is ok, relatively new and the put a bit of love in. Good for families, as there are no separate rooms, only platforms. Walk to center about 20 minutes (adult speed). Next bar / cafe about 5 mins at Piazza della Repubblica. There is a good place to eat the famous Fiorentina about 6-7mins walk away (Perseus), that practically all locals in town know. That is the best feature! The place is right next to a busy train track. Expect trains every few minutes, that make the building shake slightly. If you are a sensitive sleeper forget about it. The walls to the neighbouring apartments are thin. Far from Hotel standard. Expect to hear your neighbours if the arrive later then you and in a good mood. The neighbourhood itself is middle-class residential and quiet. Not much going on, even though we stayed during friday and saturday night. Pharmacy 200m. When we came the guy who brought the keys and took the cleaning money was 45 minutes (!) late, even though they send 3 sms and an e-mail about our arrival time which we answered. Appearently "someone else was late". There is no reception desk nearby. We paid 80 Euro a night - probably because of low season and booking. For that it is good.
• Itobal (8/5): 60€ de limpieza y te lo encuentras sucio - Al llegar nos cobraron 3,50€ por persona y noche de tasas, 35€ por realizar el chekin a las 22:00h y 60€ de limpieza 129€ en total y lo gracioso que todos los techos de la casa estaban con telas de Araña, para que son esos 60€ de limpieza?
