Arnaud (5/5): médocre - Les 2 premiers jours nous avions la présence d'une personne qui encadrait le personnel ensuite plus personne et il a fallu se mettre en colère pour que le propriétaire ou conciergerie soit présent pendant la journée ne serait-ce que pour des questions de sécurité. Par exemple l'ascenseur s'est bloqué entre le 1er et le 2ème étage nous n'avons eu personne d'autre qu'un occupant de l'immeuble qi vienne à notre aide. Nous n'aons été délivré de cette situation qu'au bout de 1 heure et devons à ce bénévole de n'avoir pas passé la nuit dans l'ascenseur !

Non ci i sono servizi che di solito si trovano negli hotel. La colazione al mattino è possibile solo con il distributore automatico di caffe. No anche alla possibilità di lasciare il bagaglio dopo il rilascio della camera in quanto alla reception il personale non è presente tutto il giorno.

Maria è attenta, premurosa e professionale e con gentilezza si assicura che tutto sia di gradimento. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche la sua chiamata per sincerarsi che fosse tutto a posto, visto che avevamo chiesto di poter fare il check-in alle 8 del mattino ma, a causa di un contrattempo, non ci è stato possibile arrivare in orario. È stato un gesto che ci ha fatto sentire accolti. Quando si dice prendersi cura!

Natalie (1/5): Did not even let me stay! - I booked Hotel Etnea Royal Suites on 9th November for a non-refundable 2-night stay from 14th till 16th November (Refundable option was only till 12th Nov, did not make sense to pay extra for just 3days!) . Shortly after paying, I messaged the property to let them know we would arrive around 11pm. Only then did I notice that their stated check-in time ends at 9pm. Since their Booking.com page still shows a 2023 Q&A saying late check-in after 10pm is possible for a €25 fee, I assumed this was still an option and we were willing to pay it. However, the property told us they would not allow check-in and we will not find anyone at 11pm under any circumstance — not even with the extra charge. The tone of the messages felt quite rude, and when I asked about the possibility of a refund (all of this happening within about two hours of booking), communication suddenly stopped. I contacted customer service, but the answer from the hotel remained the same: no check-in after 9pm and no refund. I tried calling the property multiple times and received no answer. Through Booking.com support, I later asked if we could at least check in the next morning on 15th November at 8am, without requesting a refund for the first night. That request was also refused. In the end, we were left with no options but to book two rooms for two nights at another hotel. We ended up losing the full amount paid to this so called hotel. It’s really disappointing that there was no flexibility, no willingness to understand the situation, and almost no communication once we asked for help. I honestly don’t understand how a business can operate this way in 2025. I hope this helps others make an informed decision.

Foglaláskor helyszíni fizetést választottam,ott közölte a recepciós hölgy,h csak készpénzt fogad el,ATM-et kellett keresnem.A feltüntetett képekhez képest elég gyatra volt a szobánk,fotokon szönyeg,fotel,virág,a valósagban egy hatalmas szoba a fent felsoroltak nélkül.Lift akkor működött,amikor akart,wifi nem volt,nem is gondoltam ,h Európán belül 2025-ben még ezt is figyelni kell.Törölközőt nem cseréltek minden nap,a wc-t sokszor nem lehetett lehúznia, a tartálynál csöpögött a víz,a folyosón ,lépcsőházba omladozó vakolat,Reggeli csak csomagolt édesség,ami nem is lenne gond,de kávét már csak automatából lehetett inni készpénz bedobásával/az úgynevezett kont.reggelizőbe/.nem is értem,h ez a hotel hogy lehet 3 csillagos

Alexandre (10/5): Une nuit à Catane - Le personnel est très accueillant. Certes l'enregistrement est un peu tôt (21h max) mais la personne prend le temps de tout vous expliquer et vous conduit à votre chambre. La chambre est très spacieuse. La nôtre était décorée avec goût et simplicité. Pas de deco surchargée, juste ce qu'il faut pour se sentir bien. Le lit est très spacieux et de très bonne tenue. La salle de bain est grande également. Tout était très propre. La situation, rien à redire, en plein centre de Catane. C'est parfait. C'est un bâtiment ancien. Ça a du charme, d'autant que celui-ci a gardé son cachet. Mais les anciennes portes ça laissent passer le bruit. Alors, rien d'inquiétant, on entend un peu les gens parler dans le couloir et les portes se fermer, mais rien de bien méchant.

Alison (10/5): Great small hotel with 24 hour front desk! - We have stayed here on three occasions while traveling through Catania. Really appreciate that the front desk is staffed 24 hours which means late arrivals are fine. Staff is always cheerful and helpful. There is an elevator. Rooms are great, have slept in 3 of the 9 rooms and all have been comfortable. The safe is really appreciated. Breakfast selection is good and they will make you eggs and bacon and cappuccino fresh if you want it. It is on Via Etna which is a very popular street and is very close to the airport alibus stop at bellini ovest across the street.

La struttura ha aperto da pochissimo quindi deve essere ancora perfezionata al 100% ma è tutto sempre molto pulito e funzionante. Ci sono tornato in due diverse occasioni e se dovesse capitare non mancherà anche una terza !!!
