Guest Reviews
- Birgitta (8/5): Clean and comfortable - Nice suite with good space in living room and bedroom. The bed was comfortable. Since there are several stairs to climb before reaching the place and also indoors it is not suitable for disabled people. Rather much noise from the traffic so ear plugs are recommended.
- Ed (6/5): - I never met my host that I rented from. They were helpful prior to arrival with setting up a taxi for €35 from the airport. You can take the train to the Omonia Station for only €10. I did that in the way back.
For a first visit to Athens, I think one would benefit more from a concierge service st a hotel instead. If this a repeat visit, it would be fine.
The penthouse was nice, the location is okay. There are places to eat all near it. Great food and tzatziki...yum!
Take the metro €9 Euro for a 5 day pass good for the bus and train.
The acropoli was amazing and the Olympic stadium was pretty freaking cool. Check to see when they might be free.
If you take a train and go about theee stations away to Kallithea and walk down the street to this little diner. You will save an avg € 3-4 per meal.
For me though I had the worst weather you could want for a vacation a d that didn’t benefit using the balcony. So my vacations was not great.
I was told that I would have a bottle of wine and a cake to celebrate my bday trip, but that never happened.
The two things I didn’t like: 30 min before you want to shower, you have to turn on the hot water heater and then turn it off when done. A little inconvenient in the mornings. Shower is a bit scary as you have to step up about 14 inches to get in.
The second is the key scenario. Too bulky. Could give the code to the box to hold the keys there so you don’t lose them.
Otherwise ok.
Thanks
EC
- Verified traveler (6/5): Our stay in Athens - It was difficult for our driver to find this place. It’s on the 7th floor of what appears to be a business building. Somewhat of a sketchy area but close to several attractions. It has the smallest bathroom we had ever seen! The owner was always available on the phone. If you have a late flight out of Athens, there is no place to storage your luggage OR it’s very limited.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Apartment - The apartment was great and exactly as described. Conveniently located by the metro and shopping. Had all the ammenities listed. Awesome patio for hanging out.
- Robyn (10/5): Great Value for the Cost! - Our stay was great! The apartment was exactly as described and the owner even let us check-in a little early due to early flights. She communicated very well and the ease of staying there helped us enjoy our vacation. It is very conveniently located to a market and the metro.
