We particularly met the housekeeper Vimma (Vimukthi) who was extraordinarily kind and caring. The owner and manager Flavio has designed and done up the interiors very tastefully. The property is well connected by public transport to the Florence central railway station and the tourist attractions.

The host and people that worked there were extremely nice, welcoming, and helpful. My friend and I stayed here and we are both girls, and felt extremely safe. The room was extremely clean and beautiful, bed was super cozy, and bathroom so clean and big. Location was central and near all the attractions. Breakfast was so cute and fresh. Loved everything. Truly can’t find a complaint.

Завтраки отличные, на шведском столе были все привычные продукты, была возможность заказать яйца, вкусная и свежая выпечка, вкусные йогурты и соки. Очень красивая белоснежная посуда 🥰. The location is close to several hot tourist spots and there was a great steak house right across the street. The room is clean and well-organized, for the price with breakfast included, nothing left to be desired.

There is a nice little bit of separation, affording a bit of privacy for the second bed, which was nice. The room was clean and bright, and the bathroom and shower were very nice. Great water pressure for the shower! The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows, which was a nice bonus to have more than one each. The location is great, an easy walk to the Duomo and the Uffizi. There are so many restaurants within a block or two, plenty of choice! And, there is an excellent pharmacy two door down on the corner if you find that you need something or want to shop for skincare products (and they are very helpful). Breakfast was very nice with warm croissant, cold cheese and meat and hard or soft cooked eggs to order. And of course, very good coffee. Highly recommend, we will definitely stay again when we are next in Florence! nothing

Excellent location for seeing the sights with a self serve laundromat less than a block away. Breakfast is great. The windows are excellent for minimizing street noise. The only downside would be that you can clearly hear the noise within the building - conversations at the reception desk, the breakfast room, the room next door.

• HENRY (10/5): Perfect in every way - I was visiting my daughter who’s studying in Florence with FSU and chose this hotel as it was around the corner from her apartment. It turned out to be the perfect location overall, less than a minutes walk from Santa Croce and no more than 10-15 minutes walk from all the main Florence attractions. There are also many great restaurants and gelato places in the neighborhood. The staff were super nice especially Flavio and the lady helping with breakfast each morning. She makes a great espresso! Our room was welcoming, very clean and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the towel rack that kept our towels nice and warm, and loved the Aquaflor diffuser that filled the room with a delightful scent. If we come back to Florence I won’t hesitate to stay here again.

• nathalie (9/5): I would definitely go back! I highly recommend Canto degli Aranci! - I loved the location! The staff was wonderful. Our host, Flavio, was super helpful, considerate and nice. The breakfast was delicious. There was some noise from the street on Friday and Saturday.

• Marie-Laure (10/5): Très bien accueilli, attention à s’organiser avec le gérant qui explique bien pour garer la voiture c’est payant ! - Tout le confort d’un hôtel, très bien accueilli, classe, propre et bon petit dej, avec produits sans gluten. Booking note « parking avec branchement électrique » comme équipement mais ce n’est pas vrai. C’est en plein centre ville, il faut payer le parking en plus. Il y a des parkings au centre ville (zone ZTL) payant à 30-40€ la journée mais ils certains ferment à partir de 22h, 23h minuit, ça dépend, donc on n’a plus la possibilité de prendre notre voiture librement, nous n’avons pas trouvé de parking 24h/24h qui enregistre bien la voiture par rapport au ZTL. Si on rentre la voiture dans le centre sans autorisation (faite par certains garages) on prend 90€ d’amende. A l’extérieur du centre on a trouvé un parking mais sans paiement journalier, donc un jour c’est 75€ ! Une vrai galère si on s’y prend pas à l’avance !
• Marie-France (9/5): Hôtel à recommander - Hôtel très bien situé et accueil très sympathique. Les sites d'intérêt sont accessibles à pied et la liaison aéroport-hôtel se fait facilement par les transports en commun.
• Shaun (9/5): Very enjoyable - Location - close enough to the main attractions but not right in the middle of them . Lots of choices to eat out. Clean room with decent air con and bathroom. Serviced daily. Would have liked bread rolls for breakfast. And some milk for the coffee in the room. Though we could have asked!
