The train station was 10 minutes walk and the terminal for catching the boat for the Cinque Terre was also 10 minutes walk. The room was comfortable, very clean and had lots of storage and furnished with towels and toiletries and a hairdryer. Cristina the host was amazing and was on hand every day to answer questions and even procured beach towels for us to use. There is a kitchen for shared use with a coffee machine which was much appreciated! And an external terrace to sit on should you wish to eat your meals at the property.

Great central location, about 7 mins walk from the station. A love flat, great kitchen, high ceilings, balcony, 2 good sized bedrooms, all very clean. Large TVs in every room, washing machine, air conditioning, Lots of local info left for us. We will return for sure! highly enjoyable.

First of all as everyone keeps raving about the service, let me confirm that the staff (the owner and her family) went above and beyond to make sure our every need was attended to. The hotel is freshly renovated with clean sheets, floors (even under the bed) and gorgeous clean shower/bath room. They told us about the best places to eat and gave us maps and where to shop and what to wear for hikes, etc... We had a huge terrace which we enjoyed very much specially when they offered us Italian coffee in the morning. Breakfast was not available due to Corona protocols but the city's best bakery is right across the street so you won't go hungry in this region. There is a fridge, kettle and coffee / tea making necessities. Loved every second of my stay there and will definitely stay there again if I ever visit this region. Bravo for such fantastic service and creating lasting memories for all your guests <3 <3 <3

Christina, the host, was lovely, one of the best hosts I have ever met. I recommend 100%. Very good value for money ! The place is about 10 minutes from a free parking (d'Armi) and 10 minutes from the train station, and also near good restaurants and shops, very useful ! We spent 3 nights to visit Cinque Terre, including 2 in Riomaggiore, but if I had discovered this place earlier, we would have been there all 3 nights.

- Pablolamar (10/5): Best accommdation in italy! - We had a perfect experience at the apartment. Kitchen furniture is so modern and has everything we needed and more. The apartment is the greatest we've stayed during one month travelling around Europe! We wish we had found another places like this in the other countries and cities we've been during this journey, but probably no other place can beat yours. Cristina and Giulia were so kind and receptive to us, we've never had a great treatment like this. It was a huge pleasure staying at this apartment, we had a perfect night and a relaxing sleep. All faultless and in a perfect conditions. The apartment is wide, modern and really good location, with easy parking close to the building and many restaurants and markets just across the street.

We were just down the street from the market and right in the heart of the small city with good restaurants all around. Christina and Guilia made us feel right at home, offering recommendations for restaurants and suggestions on trekking in Cinque Terre. They offered their balcony for our evening relaxation where we enjoyed a bottle of wine each night before heading out to dinner. A real surprise and pleasure was they did our laundry for us, no charge. We would highly recommend this place.

She printed out: Maps of the city of La Spezia, train times, tours available, cost of Cinque Terre ferry , and more, and it all awaited us upon our arrival. Our room was huge, clean and perfect for us. It even had a fridge. The bathroom was huge and roomy, and spotless. We were within walking distance to the train station AND the harbour AND shopping AND dozens of restaurants. Big plus for us was to leave our luggage safely stored for the day while we toured the city and then Cinque Terre. This is one place you must experience to see just how perfect it is. - Verified traveler (8/5): A great hotel for family stay. - We enjoyed our stay at Le Camere with our family. The location is about 15 minutes walk from La Spezia station. It's a safe neighborhood for family with everything including grocery stores, pharmacy and restaurant just outside the hotel. Both Gulia and Christina were extremely helpful. One thing to note is that they don't have a 24 hour onsite staff so your check in is limited to a few hours but they do co ordinate well. Very clean hotel. Room looked brand new and was very beautiful room just as shown in the picture.

Our room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean. We loved all the little touches: tea/coffee facilities available, sweets but most of all we loved the friendly service. The location is great - very close to the train station and on the main street of La Spezia. Very quiet despite being so central. as the rooms are at the back of the building. We slept so well here. Cristina and Giulia do a fantastic job of welcoming their guests. They give great local information and all our questions were answered about how to get around Cinque Terre, they were so helpful. We would highly recommend this as a great place to stay.

Cristina and Julia were both very helpful, kind, and professional, Cristina even offered to do my laundry for me. Also, the place was completely spotless and everything smelled faintly of lavender! Most importantly, this is a great place to stay during your trip to Cinque Terre. It is a 10 minute walk to the train station and your have a convenient, clean, and quiet place as a homebase during your visit. When we saw all of the poor people carrying and dragging their suitcases up the stairs and steep inclines of Cinque Terre, we were so happy that we stayed in La Spezia and le Camere nel Corso in particular!!!

- Belle (10/5): Welcoming and Really Kind - Our hostesses made our stay in La Spezia more than just a stop over to access Cinque Terre. We were greeted with all the information, timetables dinner recommendation and encouraged to walk the corso and appreciate their town. It was more lovely than I expected. Orange trees being trimmed in the street. Bike riders and people walking their dogs through the Piazza. Then back to a quiet, cool and clean room... such a bright and pleasant stay. You could take a fussy friend to stay in this appartment.

- Brian (10/5): A great stay in La Spezia - Enjoyed our stay. Julia greeted us within seconds of arriving, and was so gracious in showing us our room and explaining a bit about the area, the trains, etc. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was modern and the shower hot! The only thing I'd comment on is that someone was smoking in the hallway or another room - so when entering or exiting we smelled smoke. Our room was smoke free and very comfortable. The A/C was almost too cold LOL.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful Hosts, Great Location Next To Train - Had such a great experience! The two women who run the hotel could not have been sweeter. Our room was spotless and was even packed with complimentary drinks. We asked questions for probably about 20 minutes and they were so happy to help. The hotel is very close to the train station, (5 minute walk), which was perfect for our stay as we were taking day trips to Cinque Terre. We came back one day from Cinque Terre and it had rained so our clothes were soaked and they offered to dry our clothes for us! Could not be happier with our stay! Ask for recommendations as well! Thanks so much for the amazing stay!

- Art (10/5): Unforgettable! - We truly enjoyed each and every moment of our stay at Le Camere Nel Corso in La Spezia. Just everything about it, our hostesses were the best ever and just above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, informed and happy. Our room was everything we could have asked for. The location is great, in the heart of downtown and everything you could want for shopping, eating, cappucinno’s, and strolling on the waterfront or through the many interesting and beautiful streets full of fascinating and beautiful architecture. We will never forget Cristina and Giulia and there help in making our stay memorable. We loved the Cinque Terre and our day in Portovenere, but don’t sell La Spezia short! We really enjoyed it. One thing: Americans, realize this is not a hotel, and it’s not a B&B either. It’s an Affiticamere, which is more like a “room.” There are only 7 “rooms” available, the rest of the building is long term apartments and some retail.
