Verified traveler (4/5): Tired property in desperate need of a refresh - Ok, for a start you need to update your photos of the property. Different and distinctly stained sofa in the front room and TV has obviously been updated as the information about it in the information pack at the property was for a different TV. Different bed in the large bedroom set up as 2 singles, not one double as shown in the photos, and no mention we needed to request it setting up as a double; If you had moved it to set up as a double you might have noticed you needed to vacuum the muck that was under there. Stairs are very steep and no mention in the description; anyone with mobility issues would struggle to get up and down them. You probably ought to mention the uneven kitchen floor for this reason as well. The property is generally looking very tired and in need of an update; chipped paintwork, stains on the radiators and visible wear on the stair carpet. I’m also never a fan of mould in a bathroom and I noticed the baths seals must be leaking on the last day of our stay as water was dripping through the kitchen ceiling. The garden was overgrown, with rubbish and bucket of cigarette butts abandoned to the side of the back door. It did us for the week, the beds themselves were clean and ok to sleep in. Their kitchen was clean, except for the dirt in the bottom of the freezer, and functional and overall most of the property was clean enough. The shower was good and powerful; which may explain the leaks.
Debra-ann (7/5): Good - The property managers were very helpful. A previous guest had damaged the clothes rack and within an hour someone had come and installed a new clothesline for us. Property managers also quickly sorted out another issue resulting from the same prior guest. There was no double bed - but there were lots of single beds.
