• Hannah (9/5): Wonderful high quality apartment, fantastic host, great location - Guilia was very communicative, and really friendly. The apartment was spotless and the beds super comfy, the sheets really nice quality. The bathrooms were beautiful. The standard of the apartment was very high and felt really good. The fridge was full of yummy breakfast food and the appliances were of high quality. The location was brilliant. The kitchen facilities were a good but a bit limited – no bread knife or sharp chopping knives, or normal (non-serrated) dinner/butter knives. The walls were quite bare, some nice artwork or framed posters would make it feel more homely and comfy and cultured. The living/dining room was a bit of an odd layout, another sofa or a couple of armchairs and coffee table would have meant we could relax together as a group in the evening – there was only one sofa and it wasn't in a particularly cosy place. I just want to say these are VERY small things – overall the apartment was GREAT and just as the photos showed, these are just small things that could improve an already FANTASTIC place.

• Ann (10/5): A fantastic base in the Castello area. - Fantastic location in the Castello district with many of the major sights a short walk away. The Archeological Museo is an excellent place to discover more about Sardinia in air conditioned buildings! The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped and the amount of provisions generously left meant we had a good breakfast each day in the flat and sometimes a light lunch as well. The beautiful terrace on Via Santa Croce is a wonderful place to eat dinner and watch the sunset and only a 5 minute stroll away. If you’re staying in Cagliari I don’t think you’d find anywhere better than this. We loved it all

• Tim (10/5): Best stay ever!! - Let’s just say, you’re not likely to find a better appointed apartment or host than Suite Cagliari 101 and Giulia. From the moment you arrive you feel like your best friend left all the snacks and nibbles you love and made extra sure everything was perfect. It truly felt like we were staying at a friend’s house. Giulia was also wonderful with recommendations and special suggestions. If you stay here I’m sure you’ll get the same warm Cagliari greeting and hospitality!! The apartment is the upper section of the Castello which means if you go down to town you’ll have a lot of uphill climbing/steps to manage. Fortunately there are a few lifts/elevators that help take some of the burden off. Find them because you’ll want them after doing two or three trips up and back and walking around all day. That said, the location is great for quiet nights and mornings! So charming.

The kitchen was stocked with so much food it seemed like we barely ate anything! The location is perfect. The rooms were spacious. The instructions on how to access the apartment were very easy to understand. The streets are quite narrow and we couldn't find parking on the street during our three days, so we had to park in a garage about an 8-minute walk away.

• Rajendra (9/5): Like a second luxury holiday home away from home - Was a fantastic host and the snacks, breakfast items and fridge well stocked and a pleasant surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and were made to feel very much at home. Very little to dislike. Only one point. The main door exit switch difficult to locate. First few days we had to use the key and were at risk of getting stuck in hallway if forgot key in flat.

It’s absolutely spotless and is very spacious and extremely accessible to nearby shops and historical attractions. Giulia went ABOVE & BEYOND by stocking the fridge and pantry with local food. She had thought of everything from milk, yogurt, cereal, cold meats, juices, butter, cheese, eggs, cakes, biscuits, tea & coffee. Will definitely come back to stay in this apartment. Giulia is very a hospitable and friendly host and was always prompt to respond whether it was via phone or email and text. She really is a SUPER HOST. N/A

• Phillip (9/5): A enjoyable stay in an an apartment with a superb host in the historic centre of Cagliari. - Giulia was a wonderful host. She was both helpful and friendly. She left us a well stocked fridge with loads of food including fresh cake and tarts. The apartment was spacious and well appointed. It is conveniently located right in the historic old town. Ear plugs are required if you go to bed early with the windows open due to car noise from the narrow street. We found parking nearby but the spaces are very small and the old streets very narrow so bring a small car, it will be a lot easier.

• Sandra (7/5): Some challenges but overall enjoyable and an interesting and characterful place to stay. - Breakfast was provided by leaving the ‘fridge and other areas filled with a huge choice of foods, drinks and other items, so that you can help yourself in your own time. Two of us stayed there for a week and barely made a dent in it. Very modern stylish apartment; great base to see the Costello which is the oldest part of Cagliari. We only had a hire car to drive there from Oristano and for the next day and a half which was enough (see below) but the bus links into town were very good and the stop was only at the end of the street about 100 yards away. Our host, Giulia, was very helpful, especially given that we were an hour late arriving. We did not get the email she sent to us that day as we were out of reach of Wi-Fi, but it explained that there is a dedicated car park for the occupants of this apartment, in a small secure compound one street above the flat, which she helped us get the car to, as well as helping us get to a large modern fresh food market in town later in the week. The front bedroom overlooking the street is noisy - no double glazing in an historically significant area. Back bedroom and en-suite had a dead or dying cockroach or beetle most mornings. Pest killer and repellant had been put down in the bedrooms and bathrooms before we arrived. Driving in the Costello district around the apartment is extremely stressful, even in a Fiat Panda. The streets are very narrow, steep, mostly one-way, and with tight turns. (we were using a sat-nav - it would have been impossible to navigate the Costello without it).
• Benoit (10/5): Fantastic stay in Old town area of Cagliari - The flat is amazing and super well located. It has been recently renovated to high standard. It has plenty of room. The flat has also a dedicated carpark. The flat is full of complimentary drinks and foods which come handy. The host Giulia is super friendly and helpful. Just be ready to drive in the very narrow street of the old town of Cagliari. It is fine with a small car but can be challenging with a bigger one.
