• Bianca (8/5): - Tivemos problemas no check in, pois o Hostel oferecido no site está fechado pra reforma e ainda vai passar uns dois meses pra reabrir. Sorte que o pessoal do restaurante embaixo nos deu a localização de um outro da rede e nos hospedamos lá. No mais, foi tudo tranquilo e o local é muito bom, perto de tudo.
• Mariana (2/5): NUNCA MAIS! PÉSSIMO! - TERRÍVEL! HORRÍVEL! PÉSSIMA! O hotel simplesmente estava fechado, em obra, não fomos comunicados e só descobrimos porque ligamos e mesmo muito mal atendidos fomos direcionados a outro local com qualidade totalmente inferior e horrível. Isso tudo a 1 da manhã.
• carole (4/5): Honteux !!’ - Arrivée sur place : sans aucune information préalable nous découvrons l hôtel fermé pour travaux!!! Aucune informations, nous avons du chercher par nous même des informations auprès des gens autour, nous sommes dirigés vers un autre hôtel de la même marque (à pied avec nos bagages !) arrivée à ce 2eme hôtel, la réceptionniste nous informe que nous serons logée encore dans un autre hôtel à 15mn à pied, et pour le petit déjeuner nous devrons revenir à pied à ce 2eme hôtel !!! Nous avions fait le Check in en ligne mais avons dû tout recommencé à ce 3eme hôtel!!! Une horreur et a cause de cela nous avons perdu une demi journée de notre séjour, sans compter le stress de la situation, c est inadmissible !! En pleine nuit réveillée par les voisins comme si ils étaient dans notre chambre tellement il n y a pas d insonorisation
• Jorge (2/5): - Una porquería de lugar, nos mandaron a último minuto al hostal Inter. Una micro habitación con una ventana que no aislaba ni el frío ni el ruido. Deplorable.
• Jorge (2/5): - Mencionaron por teléfono al intentar contactarlos que se nos envió notificación de cambio de hotel, pero no fue así, tuvimos que enterarnos al momento de ver cerrado el lugar. Nos mandaron a el hostal inter. Que tenía buena ubicación y nada más. La habitación olía mal, no había nadie que te pudiera ayudar. Una experiencia horrible.

Location is good in central Madrid, but staff are not really helpful as they don't know how to provide basic questions for Madrid visitors (apart of some exceptions). They have a combined breakfast in the restaurant located dowstairs. The food is not amazing, however, you get more than other places where you would get either or nothing or worse, so, a pleasant surprise! I don't think the cleaning was the worse but can improve. The other customers are unrespectful: they switch on the lights, they talk louder and don't suppose there are another people who are trying to sleep at 3A.M. Lack of bathroom in the communal area, or a place to stay and chill outside the room.

• DiDi (6/5): - The dorm-room itself was very tight for 6 bunks. Storage units in the room held a small suitcase & not much more. Most of us were asleep before midnt but it being the wkd - 2 nice Spaniards went out for the evening at that time, & returned one morning at 4am, the next at 6am! Even trying to be quiet, of course it was disruptive & woke the rest of us up. All part of the shared adventure I guess

• alejandro ismael (8/5): No seria mi primera opción - La verdad esta super bien ubicado, no es que te esperes mucho pero pues para lo que se paga esta bien, lo malo no servia el elevador y nos toco en el piso 7!!! Igual no puedes hacer check in antes de las 2, y literal si no son las 2 no te atienden, tampoco te dejan dejar las maletas para regresar luego y la atención del check in es lenta, y tuve que esperar como 1 hora para hacerlo. La verdas no seria mi opción para regresar, Aun que la limpieza de los baños en las habitaciones privadas son muy limpias

• TOMAS (2/5): - The worst hotel I don’t recomend it to anybody, I was on the 4th floor which is the 5th floor and the elevator was broken, no body help us to bring the luggage up or down, the shower was terrible, no tv, the bed was very uncomfortable, breakfast was terrible , there was no place to hang any cloth no hangers or no place to put the luggage ,I don’t recommend this hotel

No funcionaba el elevador y asignaban las habitaciones en el piso 7, cuando se lws cuestiono la razpn por la cual no avisaban con antelacion su unica respuesta fue que si esto era un problema nos cancelaban la reserva. La persona de la recepcion fue extremadamente grosera cuando hice el check out incluso levantando la voz.La habitacion olia bastante mal. Las sabanas eran de un material tan sintetico q parecia plástico y tenian manchas. Si tienen oportunidad, eviten hospedarse aqui.

Lo único que la última vez pedí de favor si me podrían asignar una cama baja y la muchacha me dijo que tenía todo lleno, cuando en realidad solo estuvo completa una litera, me parece muy fuerte que no haya hecho ni el mínimo esfuerzo por intentar cambiarla y más sabiendo que hay camas disponibles... no me gusta tampoco que el lector de tarjetas de la puerta no funciona y siempre hay que tocar el timbre para entrar al hotel se me hace un poco incómodo la verdad🙃, no obstante las taquillas de la habitación 202 tienes que llevar un pequeño candado, porque sino no puedes guardar tus cosas🙃!!!! En la 201 al menos en las taquillas introduces una moneda y lo puedes cerrar, lo cual considero es más seguro!!! La atención primera que tuve con un chico en recepción 10/10, súper amable, da gusto trabajar con personas así!!!!

NO hubo agua caliente, no calefacción, decían que la calefacción que es en automático pero es mentira, en pleno invierno la colcha es súper delgada y no calienta, pagamos una habitación privada y no fue nada barato para ser un hostel, y para terminar de colmar, NO hubo agua; las tuberías secas y dan una excusa tonta como que es culpa del ayuntamiento ya que están trabajando en la calle!!! NO nos dieron ninguna solución. PÉSIMO PÉSIMO PÉSIMO servicio! Habían muchos huéspedes MUY molestos, haciendo sus reclamos porque fue el colmo que no hubiera agua; sin embargo NO dieron solución de nada.
• Ilham (2/5): Avoid staying here - The room is very small, there is no internet, when I said to the girl in the reception about it she said very indifferently that this is so, cannot do anything. For the towel I charged 1,5 euro. In the bathroom there is no hanger to hang your staff. All day long I was dizzy because of the smell of marijuana which was for them normal. The only positive thing is that this dirty and bad quality hostel in the heart of Madrid.

• Terina (8/5): Lo mejor es la ubicación - Resulta una buena opción para estar en el centro de la zona turística, esta a media cuadra de la Gran Vía MUY cerca del metro Callao, ponen un horario de check inn limitado, así que se hace una fila de unas 10 personas... el desayuno es en un café en la planta baja... bastante malo... pero pues si te gusta el cereal, puedes sobrevivir... no se puede pedir mucha más por los altísimos costos de los hoteles en la zona, para uno o dos días es suficientemente bueno.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Inte det bästa - Jag var i Madrid i en vecka varav 4 dagar på detta hostel. Platsen är bra och personalen är trevliga. Men rummen och korridoren luktar toalett. Frukosten är basic. Sängarna är inte det bästa. En toalett och dusch i varje rum. Man måste stå i kö. Om man lämna in väskan där efter man chackat ut tar de 5 euros - onödigt (gratis i andra hostel)!

• Sharon (4/5): Cheap and not very cheerful, sorry! - Cheap (by Madrid standards) and not very cheerful! Staff were ok and check in efficient. The room was pokey tiny, smelly and a bit dirty, in 3N i dont think the bathroom was cleaned amd if it was (big if) barely touched! The bed was comfortable however. Lockers provided (not big enough for back packs or suitcases but enpugh for valuables and smaller back pack bags) but you need your own lock. There is a basic b.fast provided which is ok for the price of the hostel.

Habitacion doble, camas pequeñas con funda plastificada tanto en colchon como en almohada, sin television en la habitacion. Los baños muy austeros, no tienen secador para pelo. No hay armario, solamente unas baldas con una mini barra colgando 3 perchas. El aspecto del hotel muy deteriorado, falta de mantenimiento. El desayuno es en la cafeteria de al lado (hay que salir de las instalaciones), no hay donde elegir, vas pasando con la bandeja y te van sirviendo (tipo colegio). La situacion es lo unico bueno. En definitiva: muy decepcionante por el precio pagado. Es un albergue juvenil mas que un alojamiento hotelero. Experiencia muy negativa.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Not Recommended - Male staff at the front reception that night had bad attitude! If you asked him for bunk availability over the next few days, he would tell you to check online as he was too lazy to check from the system in front of him. He preferred munching on his chips and chatting with the girls there! The room was very small and congested. Lockers in the room were broken. The door knob on the toilet door was broken for a very long time, I believe and had not been repaired. As such it cannot be locked.
• Dave (2/5): Stay at risk of being robbed - The lockers did not have the hook or loop for you to lock them and some the doors of the lockers had been bent to take whatever was inside them, not a very safe place to stay (you stay at your own risk) place lacks security to say the least

• David (4/5): Not very comfortable. - This hostel is crowded, noisy from an attached bar, and the common area is messy, cheerless, and uncomfortable. They overbooked our room so much that many people had to change rooms during their stay. it's a drab and depressing place to stay.

• Edel (8/5): - This hostel is an ideal base for sightseeing in Madrid. I would be happy to stay here again and recommend this hostel. A small drawback was that the WiFi was not dependable and was somewhat sporadic. There's plenty to see and do within walking distance of the hostel. I also enjoyed a Segway tour (English).
• Daniel (8/5): Decent hostel for the price - The hostel was surprisingly clean and well maintained. A simple breakfast is provided (cereal, toast and coffee) which is better than nothing at all. Good location m, easy to find and to get around. No towels provided and only one sheet for the bed - do I use it as a base sheet or cover? I just wrapped myself in It instead. Also whilst not the hostels fault, unfortunately there was some guests who do not know basic manners - hair trimmings left in the bathroom floor and playing loud films/ music with no headphones.
• BABAR (10/5): - BEST LOCATION. The Hotel is at prime location of Madrid. Gran via, Sol,Callao are very close about 2 min walk.
• Jackie (6/5): You get your money’s worth, for good and bad. - I don’t know if I’d stay at Motion Hostel again. I tried calling the hostel before my arrival, no one picked up my calls. When I got there, I was supposed to have a mixed room, I requested an ALL FEMALE room and got it but in the middle of the night a man came into our ALL FEMALE room. I called reception and again, no one answered. It was until the next day when one of my roommates went to reception and reported the incident but nothing was done until the second time my roommate went to reception. At the end, the reception staff acknowledged their mistake but the first impression on this hostel isn’t the most pleasant for me. As far as the location of this building, is convenient to walk around the city center but too noisy at all times. I couldn’t sleep much.
• Nevins (6/5): Maybe it’s not the right timing - They were doing some refurbishing and you have to wait or walk through the site, which is filled with paint odour. Sometimes lift we’re occupied by the worker to bring stuff up and down so you’d have to go down by stairs, I stayed on the 7th floor.

Breakfast was good (coffee, juice, cereal, bread). Working elevator. Nothing to complain about. The only thing I would say is that if you need directions or recommendations, the staff is not much of help with this.

They were very drunk and snored horribly. One of the guests tried unsuccessfully to wake them. He finally got the manager to get one out. The other refused

• Nancy (8/5): You get what you pay for - The hostel is in a great location, close to major attractions and shopping district, well connected to the metro. Although the room was not as clean and spacious as in pictures, it was good value for a bunk bed in a 6-bed dorm with private bathroom and a little continental breakfast was included (cereal, juice and coffee). The ceiling in bathroom had a leak.

• Hyunjin (2/5): Don’t go!! Cheap price for reason!! - Please stay away!!!!!! Very dirty(first night i got a lot of bug bites on my arms, no bathroom light, so i changed the room). Most of lockers are brocken. Receptions are rude and will ignore you; When i were checking out, i had tight schedule of train. The girl told me to wait 20min because she said she got to punch the holes in papers during watching something on computer. I begged & explained her but she doesn’t care.

Bathrooms were surprisingly clean and only six to a room, so this was a pleasant surprise compared to some others that I have been to. Location is also fantastic, just south of the Gran Vía shopping district, so always something to do at all hours of the day. Do not expect luxury here, the lift is quite old and you may have to provide your own padlock for the lockers but my two night stay was uneventful and was a safe place to lay my head at night, so job done, as far as I needed it.
