- Grude (8/5): All in all it was a very good experience. Despite the potential noise I would still be happy - Was greeted by a very lovely man who showed us to our room. We were just spending one night to be closer to the airport for an early flight, so it was perfect location and the area was surprisingly quiet for being so close to the airport. Very friendly and helpful staff! Despite the area being quiet it was a little noisy and the plumbing/hot water was quite audible at time. This could ofc be a temporary issue or due to the location of our specific room. I will also admit that I am a light sleeper, but my partner who is not, did also hear it.

Great Indian restaurant a few minutes walk from the hotel, I would advise booking as it was very busy. Not many shops nearby so can't really walk easily.

- Ezio (8/5): Perfect for Early Flights Near Gatwick Airport - A very convenient bed and breakfast located in the immediate vicinity of Gatwick Airport, making it ideal for early morning departures. The room is a bit small for three people, but the beds are comfortable and more than adequate for a short stay. The bathroom is also compact, yet features a spacious shower, and everything is clean and well maintained. We did not have the chance to try the breakfast due to our early departure, but the owner — extremely kind and helpful — recommended an excellent place for dinner, which we really appreciated. A great practical choice for a short stay before a flight.

- Donna (10/5): A Fab Find! - I arrived to a brilliant, friendly welcome. My name was remembered and I was expected. Tea was offered and set out in the lounge. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. A fabulous place run by friendly people (almost felt like family!). Nothing. Everything was great for me. Even the other guest I met was friendly - I'm sure picking up from the friendly atmosphere.

- Hervé (7/5): Bien pour une une nuit de transition - L'établissement est cosy, adapté pour y passer une nuit de transition à proximité de l'aéroport, distant d'une dizaine de minutes de l'aéroport en voiture Une navette est proposée. Celle-ci facilite nettement l'accès qui serait plus compliqué sans elle. Le tarif est de 15 livres le voyage par famille. Le prix demeure le même y compris lorsque le voyage est partagé avec d'autres groupes. Un petit déjeuner continental ou britannique est proposé. Le premier est disponible à partir de 6h du matin. Le second, 6h30. Le propriétaire nous a indiqué que nous pouvions dîner à l'extérieur au restaurant PARSONS PIG à Crawley. Super établissement avec un très bon accueil, excellente cuisine à tarifs très raisonnables. Avons eu quelques difficultés à contacter la navette au moment de notre prise en charge à l'aéroport. Dès son arrivée le conducteur a privilégié le chargement d'un autre groupe qui était arrivé après nous alors que nous attendions. La navette nous a pris en charge à l'occasion du voyage suivant. Si vous n'avez pas de voiture, l'accès au restaurant doit se faire à pied, sur une dizaine de minutes, à l'éclairage de la lampe de nos téléphones sur un trottoir mal entretenu.

- Chin Tang (10/5): Great location next to Gatwick, great hosts serving delicious breakfast and efficient transfers! - Great location close to Gatwick yet far enough to not hear the busy planes arriving and departing. Great hosts too, John and company were great, adapted to our needs with the airport pickups and drop offs, even out of ordinary hours which is immensely appreciated. We ordered full English breakfasts for the whole family at early hours which was delicious! Will definitely be coming back to this little gem when visiting London again! Nothing.

- Scott (8/5): Stay at Oakhurst B and B - Location, breakfast was great, good heating, parking off the street, staff were nice, nearby Pub food was awesome The very steep stairs to the 1st level above ground level that led to our room were ladder like steep. Only people who are physically fit could manage this with 20kg+ suitcases. We fit this category, but some would not so just be aware when booking.

Gatwick airport was close and several jets took off one after the other. Did not hear any from our room Our room was on the upper storey and thankful our luggage was smaller. They were helpful in accommodating for my food allergies and assisting us to the pub when we not feeling up to walking. We plan to come back in the future. The beds are comfortable and the room was a good size. The bathroom was very small but met our needs and it was hard to open the window when it got hot. We were grateful for the fan.

We arrived late but the owners were still there to give us a friendly welcome. We had a family room for one night, it was spotless and had everything we needed. We found the beds a little firm but otherwise great. Left early before breakfast. The parking option is brilliant and on arrival back from our holiday, our car was ready for collection at the front of the property. Would recommend this hotel. Found the beds a bit firm but this is personal preference

- Jason (8/5): Great stay at a very good price and only 10 minutes from the Airport. Very convenient - Great price and easy to check in. Transportation to airport and back was great and a good price. Room was very clean and had everything you need. Being on the ground floor by the front door had its disadvantages. Firstly you could hear any conversation by those entering the B&B and deciding to have a good old chat. The second is that the room above was noisy, you could here every footstep, the occupants talking and the shower which they decided to use at 10:30 at night !

- Amanda (9/5): Stop over for early flight. - The owner was very helpful giving directions around a snarl of roadworks that restricted access to the property guiding us down country roads. The room was neat and tidy, the beds comfy, the shower warm and the place easily accessible to the airport taking only a 10 minute drive. Will definitely stay there again if flying out early. A few of the bathroom fixtures were showing their age but it was only cosmetic, every thing worked.
