Guest Reviews
- Guillermo (10/5): Great location, - Overall, my stay was great, the property is strategically located near downtown, just one bus ride away.
The only thing I wasn't so impressed about was the communication from Hosteeva, during the reservation process and before my stay.
I do wish that guests were allowed to check in before 4pm.
- seth (8/5): - Parking is for small car
- Darlene (6/5): - I use Expedia quite often. In reading the amazing reviews of this place and seeing pictures, I had no doubts in my mind. The property itself is awesome. I definitely would not recommend staying if you cannot go up and down stairs because it is 4 levels. It sleeps a lot of people with 3 bedrooms. Everything was clean and neat. Now the bad stuff.. We checked in at 8 PM.. Apparently there was either no central air or it was broken. They had a portable air conditioner in the living room with a fan, one in each of the upstairs bedrooms, but not in the downstairs room. We walked into a heat infested unit. It was about 85 degrees. We were sweating until midnight. Nothing was working to cool the property. We finally had to call someone. I was extremely disappointed initially with the response we got from the person who answered- wait till tomorrow. It was so mismiserably hot we didn't know what to do. Luckily a gentleman called us back 10 minutes after the initial conversation and explained that we had to open the windows so hot air would not blow back in (which is what was happening) Once we figured that out, life was better. But even at the coolest temperature on the portable unit, I feel we would have had a much cooler and better sleep in a hotel with central air. Also, why werent these windows already opened for us so the air would work? Better yet, for insane price we paid, the AC should have already been turned on for us.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great townhouse style unit - After a rough arrival everything was great after I was checked in. Nice unit in a quiet yet very accessible area to the business area and lots of restaurants, bars, etc.
- Ann (8/5): - Had some difficulty getting in. Maybe I’m not tech savvy enough
- Pete (8/5): Good apartment fairly close to downtown - It was good, 3 double bedrooms and in good condition. The booking agent needs to be better at responding to e-mails rather than needing phone calls.
- Pete (8/5): Good location fairly near to downtown. - Good for a group of friends or family. 3 double bedrooms and plenty of communal space. Good facilities, cheaper than 3 couples staying in a hotel, but be aware of a fairly steep cleaning charge which makes short stays a bit more pricey.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This four level property was awesome. It was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and stay awhile. It’s not ideal for little kids but would work. The rooftop on the fourth level is a beautiful addition to the property but again not ideal for young children. There are three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. It only listed one bathroom so we were pleasantly surprised there were more.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful property, exactly as pictured and promised by the owners.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean, nice place!
- Evan (10/5): - Very nice and bright modern house with a nice view
- Chun (2/5): Dont fking book this - The hotel is nice but they charge you more than what you can saw on the booking page there is a fee on the every bottom of the page "cleaning fee" they will charge you $132 per stay means if you stay for 1 night it will be charge you about $300. Highly recommend you not to book this hotel
- Evan (10/5): Beyond expectations!!!
- I stayed in Modern Home with rooftop oasis with my wife, my 3 kids and our friends- couple with one kid. It was perfect fit for our party of 8.
We enjoyed it from the very first minute. So much was thoughtfully done like the house modern design, the spotless kitchen with everything you need, the bedding you don't want to get up from, the freshest towels, the cleanliness, and comfort were beyond of all our expectations. You cannot even compare this amazing house to any hotel room that nowadays are mostly all tiny and outdated noisy with a lot of useless and sometimes unpolite staff. Instead, we had Tata, who managed to address all of our needs in a very timely manner. She even bothered to prepare fresh flowers and fruits that boosted our mood on the rainy day. Checking in was very simple, we had to download some mobile app, and unlocked the door ourselves. Tata was always available for us on the phone and text messages. She was so welcoming and knowledgeable in any question we asked and so patient as you can't imagine. We loved the privacy of the house and location is incredible plus coffee shop is couple minutes away. So we will definitely come back again. I would recommend staying there.
