Shazia and Suneeta at the breakfast area were warm and hospitable No heating in room. Lahore was chilly at night. But the staff were kind enough to provide a heater. That was really kind and sweet.

- Thomas (9/5): I would recommend this place to any tourist or business persons needing to stay in Lahore. - There were so many things to like. The hotel is traditional, full of character, and not impersonal like many of the modern shiny hotels. Each and every one of the staff, and the front of house customer services people, were extremely obliging and friendly and couldn’t do more to improve the comfort of my stay. They even went so far as to send a car out to get some medication from the pharmacy when I needed it. Naveed, Aroosa, Nora, Mansoor and Khalid were all extremely helpful and friendly and made my stay a pleasure. I liked almost everything. As a westerner who sometimes like a beer in the evening the bar is a little too private and quiet, but I fully get that this is a cultural and traditional thing.

The furniture and decor felt outdated, and the overall impression was that a refurbishment is well overdue. The staff at Avari Hotel were truly outstanding—courteous, attentive, and consistently helpful. Every interaction, from check-in to concierge services, reflected exceptional training and a genuine dedication to guest satisfaction.The hotel’s facilities left something to be desired for a five-star establishment. Some amenities, such as the gym and pool, showed clear signs of wear. To meet modern luxury standards, adding features such as a jacuzzi and sauna would be highly beneficial. Breakfast at the Avari Hotel was a highlight. There was an ample variety of options, both local and continental, and the quality was consistently good. I left the table satisfied each morning, pleasantly surprised by the breadth of the buffet.The hotel’s location is one of its strongest assets. Its central position in Lahore allows for easy access to major attractions, shopping centres, and cultural sites. Although the staff and location are truly excellent, and breakfast is generous, the outdated facilities diminish the sense of luxury one might expect. I made the reservation of the room and they deducted 33k PkR stating that they will release this holding amount after I will leave the hotel minus any charges during my stay.
It's been 20 days and till to date no amount has been returned and when I call them they say that it is not there problem.
