- Grant (10/5): It was perfect and I would book again - Everything I like everything
- Q (1/5): -
- TIMOTHY (1/5): Absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed at. - Not anything really. Rooms are dirty and roach infested. Leaking toilet they didn't call until the next day after notifying them. Paper plates with food left in refrigerator. Refrigerator unplugged and hot on arrival. Woke up to roach crawling towards my face. I will never stay at Woodspring again.
- Haoyue (3/5): - Nothing. The property did not follow the instructions and does not pick up calls. Called 6 times on the day of our check in and not one call went through.
- Grace (1/5): - The staff were rude when I was trying to check in. And actually made me feel unwelcome and like I didn’t know anything when I’m the one who booked the room. I didn’t even stay. I left and went somewhere else. Will never book here again.
- Brianna (9/5): - Location Lack of information from staff, stained bedding and over all very uncomfortable stay. The pillows were like cardboard and the mattress was terrible.
- Sanket (3/5): Not worth staying - No Breakfast The smell in rooms
- Korrey (1/5): I didnt stay was forced to find another property because no was available to check me in - I had a late check in and nobody was at the front desk for over an hour, so i left and still was charged
- Leron (1/5): -
- Mendiola (10/5): - Nice and clean rooms
- Mendiola (10/5): - The rooms and the kitchen
- Catherine (2/5): - The woman that works the night shift is loud , unprofessional, I believe rachet would best fit her. She not only got other guest to come with her to my door to address a problem but she also asked me to return used non working keys to her then proceeded to take a smoke break when Iwas clearly standing there waiting to give these gets to her. She yelled at me at my doorway about the issue , which I add had nothing to do with me. Never once did she get a word of input from me.
- Jeremy (2/5): Don’t do it! - This property was literally the WORST we have ever stayed in. They charge for Wi-Fi. They don’t have a front desk person. The manager walked in the room after a quick knock not once but TWICE. The elevator is faulty and you get charged if you need a room key. The whole place reeks of weed. The shower is AWLFUL, with mold behind the shower head barely hanging in the wall. Do yourself a favor and stay LITERALLY anywhere else.
- Jesus (2/5): - There cigarettes in my non smoking room smelt like smoke. Soap in the tub used. Bad service, from front desk very rude.
- Dominique (2/5): - The person In the front was VERY rude with a nasty attitude. The rooms were nasty, they have roaches and the tubs were dirty like somebody had already bathe in them before us. 10/10 would NOT recommend !!
- Machelle (2/5): - My feet stuck to the floor all the way down the hall and in my room. Didn’t even stay had to find another hotel.
- Makenzie (1/5): I was charged THREE TIMES for my stay. I called the hotel to have them fix it, and they didn’t. -
- Samuel (10/5): - They Need To Start Serving Breakfast
- Trevor (7/5): -
- Arroyo (6/5): Don't let the name fool you. - We were expecting the beds to be better not that comfortable and pillows were too soft...The microwave didn't work so they moved us to room that had a working one....pool was closed no breakfast no ice machine in the building and no coffee makers in room...will not stay there again...we were not impressed at all
- Omar (10/5): - Great value!!
- YU (10/5): - Friendly
- Aleshia (2/5): - I was so disappointed in this hotel. We received an unfriendly welcome upon arrival. The hotel looks good from the outside & the lobby. The elevator had no ventilation. It was stuffy and had an awful odor! There were dead bugs on the floor under the bed. We woke up the next morning we discovered roaches crawling on the walls on the counter. When I want to complain about the roaches, the front desk did nothing. I want my money back and I will never stay there again!
- Justin (5/5): - Rooms were cold Floors not mopped
- SHANERICA (10/5): -
- S7264XKmelaniem (2/5): you will end up sleeping in your car - RUN!! don't walk, away from this hotel. i made reservations via online booking for 2 nights (6/20-21) to arrive Friday night with my 3 grandchildren and dogs. I called ahead to the hotel ~30 minutes before our arrival and to my utter shock was told that i did not have a reservation, that it wats first come, first served. when i asked about my online booking i was told that they can't see those until i check in and it had been busy that day so they had actually been trying to call me"all day long" to let me know they were sold out. funny, that they claim to have tried to do that, when i had no calls from them and if i didnt have a reservation, how did they have my information??? the man was extremely rude and didn't like being questioned about what they had done. he kept saying that i had no room regardless. when i asked about a refund he said the hotel was not entering a charge to the online service and was sending a message that the hotel had canceled the rooms.
my card was charged anyway. i have spoken to this hotel twice with them claiming the correct emails were sent, however i was not CC'ed on them and the booking service claims to have never gotten emails.
i am now stuck between this extremely crappy hotel and equally horrid online service with neither doing what they should do, having to go thru my bank for a false charge claim. but the worst part........ that Friday night i was stuck several hours from home, with no room and no way to get a decent room because 99% of the hotels were booked as i called and drove around until 2am.... with 3 kids 13, 9 and 8, and 2 dogs, only to find out that my card was already charged for the 2 nights from this hotel that i was robbed of. absolute total insanity. DO NOT STAY HERE, EVER.
- Jennifer (10/5): - N/A
- A.B (6/5): - was very stingy with towels & washclothes, my partner and i asked for 2 new towels and in replacement we got 2 bath mats which barely did anything.. towels were rough as well..
The lights in the corner of the room kept switching on & off and my partner had to get up in the middle of the night to switch it off numerous of times.. there was also a stove top in our room though it did not come with any pots & pans which seemed very odd to me ? what’s the point ?
overall i’ll give my experience a 7.5
- Koebi (10/5): - It was a great stay, my only issue was the bathtub didn’t drain very well
When showering
- Mark (4/5): - We have booked many hotels and my wife has never had a problem checking in first, and I meet with her in our room, later. When she went to check in, she had the reservation #, when it was booked, where we booked it, ability to open app. to show the booking, State ID, even a marriage certificate (because we were moving into the area and happened to have the box in the car) Our shared credit card was used for the booking, and a plethora of other ID. Yet, when she arrived with my daughter and dogs, the female manager said she could not let her check in because I was not there. I was driving a moving truck a few hours behind them. Now my wife who is disabled, was told to sit in her car and wait until the next shift arrived and maybe he'd be more accommodating (about 45 min.). So my wife went to her car, called me and I called the hotel directly, willing to take a pic of my license, and tell them it's a shared card. They still would not allow her to check in. The male manager actually asked her "what do you think you're pulling her?" My wife was dumbfounded - she was accused of doing something shady. He was very offensive to her. Finally, the manager relented - after a considerable amount of time and my wife not letallow her to check in, and I showed up about an hour or so later. Suddenly the manager is apologizing to me - not to my wife that was treated like a criminal.
- Mike (4/5): - Had a weird experience last few time checking in. The lady that checked us in, decided to get noisy, and ask the female unusual, and unprofessional que that was with me. This was the second time this happened. When confronted, she started blowing off, and was just asking friendly questions. The second time, she demanded a id. I asked her why? The person wasn’t on the reservation and there’s no need for it. Her manager backed her without asking what the problem was. The hotel employee consistently asked personal questions as if was interested in more than a hotel guest business transaction? Why would anyone feel comfortable giving a borderline stalker any info. Previous stay, had issues with the room ac. She waited for about 10 minutes, to finish her personal phone conversation, to even acknowledge the problem, and informed me that she should be able to reset the ac, when she got a chance. One hour later, she showed up and fixed it in about 2 minutes. The room was 81 degrees the the whole hour. Have stayed here several times and one door, main door on backside of building has been constantly hit or miss with the keys working. Not just me, but every guest. Management gives the attitude, it’s a privilege for guest to be there. Promotes stalking behavior and frankly don’t care about the guest. If you are lucky enough to find a clean room, with no issues, it’s a cheap place to stay. Don’t bother the front desk, you will get attitude.
- Chelsea (2/5): - After booking my 8-day, 7-night stay, I spoke with the manager before checkout time on my last day. I paid and booked an additional night, then left to go to work. Upon my return that same afternoon, I was informed that my “paid” stay, with the paperwork already signed, was no longer available. They had booked it with another guest shortly before giving me the key for the other room. As a single mother of two children who were also with me, this was a very disappointing situation. The manager didn’t seem concerned or worried about leaving me in the position I was in due to her incompetence.
- Samantha (6/5): - It was ok
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Terrible hotel service. Booked and get to the hotel and there’s nobody at the desk. Called the hotel numerous times before someone finally answered to say oh we’re sold out, said just to get a refund from hotels.com. Worst customer service, would never book again.
- Horton (7/5): Good -
- Matthew (2/5): - Just awful
- Vicki (6/5): - They don’t have an ice machine or a coffee pot in any room
- Rannard (10/5): - My stay was pretty good, get there early for check-in if you can. Late check-in is a bit of a hassle if you don't make arrangements for late check-in beforehand. The room was great and the beds are very comfortable.
- Campbell (10/5): Exceptional -
- Derrice (6/5): - I never Got to check in because it was overbooked I had To find another hotel
- Korrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yordy (8/5): Very good -
- April (2/5): Find another hotel - Floor in room was filthy. The hotel itself didn’t feel safe. I would not stay again
- Glenn (4/5): - A hour and a half late getting checked in because the room was not ready for check in at 3. No amenities at all.
- Alisha (8/5): - Property was clean and in a good location. Not a luxury suite but it was good for what we needed it for.
- Mark (8/5): - We would definitely use this hotel again. It was clean, pet friendly, and they gave us a room close to the entrance door, so it made it easy for us to take our dogs out. It was at a great location where there were plenty of restaurants/stores nearby.
- Derrick (8/5): Very good -
- Latrisha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eric (2/5): - Beds were terrible, lumpy, hard. Room was clean but had musky cologne smell to it.
- Andre (5/5): Passable -
- Yordy (7/5): Good -
- Dylan (1/5): Bad -
- Carmen (5/5): Did not stay they were being double booked and was booked so did not receive a room - The hotel was double booked and we did not stay because they were booked Make sure you don’t double book for a full hotel
- Olumide (2/5): - Bed was broken, had a tiny stove wanted is to pay extra for pots will never stay here again!!!
- Jennifer (2/5): - The gentleman at check-in was great and the room looked good until we stepped inside. The room reeked of moth balls. We opened the window a bit to see if it helped but it didn’t. The smell was coming from the brown, fuzzy blankets. After leaving the window cracked for an hour, we needed to close it even though the smell was still there and turn on the heat. The immediate smell was burning hair dryer. So we shut off the heat. We’d been there less than 2 hrs and had to leave. We were told there were no other rooms but between the intense smell of moth balls permeating the room and then the burning smell from the heater, it wasn’t a safe room to stay in.
- O1833CGclaraf (8/5): One of the best extended stay hotels in the area - Review of Woodspring Suites
General Manager Symphony Boler runs a tight ship, keeps the place remarkably clean, remembers every guests name, and still has a smile on her face.
Repairs are dealt with speedily; my bathroom fan was too loud and it was fixed within 24 hours!
This is an extended place, and primarily a working person’s hotel; not fancy, not for the particularly particular. You will encounter some rough behavior, tracking mud in, loud noises, etc. On the other hand, it’s not priced like a fancy hotel!
The rooms were clearly designed with men in mind: the shower head and upper shelves are very high, bed stead is metal, toilet seat is split. Genteel ladies might be happier in a fancier place.
Pros:
All rooms are freshly painted
The whole place is kept clean
The thermostat is reachable from the bed
There is a small gym and a laundromat
Free housecleaning every two weeks
Laundry exchange available, even shower curtain
Folks are friendly
Occasional get-together in the small lobby
Picnic tables out back
Plenty of parking front and back
Close to all stores, restaurants, freeways etc.
Kitchenette with full-sized refrigerator and two-burner stove
Windows that actually open (not far, but they open)
Free toilet paper daily, not just when room is cleaned (really! Just ask.)
Water in sinks and shower heats up fast
The main overhead light turns on when you key into your room
Cons:
This hotel fills up fast and stays full
Some smokers break the rules and smoke in the building
Laundromat can be crowded
The doors were recently re-engineered and now slam loudly
Don’t expect manners from the mostly blue-collar guests
The room thermostats have a mind of their own
- Brian (3/5): Poor -
- Jose (10/5): - .
- Liza (1/5): Bad - Our reservation was canceled the afternoon that we were supposed to check in!!
- isaiah (8/5): - Enjoyed this property , great service that aims to please.
- Brittany (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel was quiet i didn’t like the fact that there wasn’t any room cleaning service offered in stay unless i paid for it
- Josh (4/5): If wasn’t for working in area would not even look at this property - Room was small but clean Price high for what you get. Small room zero aminities. Like walking through the getto getting in and out. 24-7 weed smell.
- Kyle (2/5): - Waited 45mins to see the front person and got the room key but couldn't open the room.
They said the other guest occupied my room.
I had to book the other hotel over 12am.
Cannot believe...that's terrible...
The front said the manager's name is Stephanie
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant -
- Joseph (2/5): - Lot of cockroaches in the room
- Mobile29217090575 (2/5): Awful - Don’t stay here. No ice , don’t have machine don’t have any in motel , no coffee , no coffee maker machine don’t even offer it plus Tv didn’t work, noisy all night and we booked 3 dbl rooms and they messed that up. Don’t stay here. The plumbing was bad also
- Kawaisha (8/5): Very good -
- Benjamin (8/5): - Yes
- Samuel (8/5): - The property is clean and the staff was friendly. I did however feel a little uncomfortable with some of the other guests. I felt like I don't belong.
- Alexis (1/5): Bad - Nothing The drug usage the constantly slamming doors the roaches
- Bryonna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tina (4/5): Needs New Owners/Mgmt - Great location! Went to check in and sign on building says no smoking within 35' of building yet employee was standing out front smoking. When we entered the lobby smelled like weed. Rang for someone to check us in and he was definitely high. Walked thru side door to go to room and employee at side door smoking and inside smelled of weed. Sheets smelled like cigarette smoke. No hand towels just 2 wash clothes/2 towels. No hair dryer no coffee pot. Thank goodness we brought our own coffee pot. Woke up the next morning and 3 police cars were in front of the main doors. 1 had its lights on. Later in the day a police officer sped around the corner of the bldg in his patrol car. Won't stay here again or recommend.
- JANELLE (6/5): Basics - It’s a stay without any extras. I was told they couldn’t accommodate a noon checkout (regular checkout is 11), and the email I got cautioned me that any items left would be tossed. As if a lost and found is a novel idea. I’ve stayed here before but they’re so extra about everything (ironic, given there are absolutely no extras to speak of), I’ll find somewhere else to stay next time.
- derek (4/5): - the staff were very unhelpful. I had a problem with the AC/heating and the staff response was if the A/C is not working then you'll have to check out. She wouldn't come to the room to try and fix the problem. She also said that the maintenance man has gone home and won't be back until Monday. Staff supplied no Wi-Fi service and also informed me that there is no room service and no towels will be provided. The plus was the price of the room.
- Williams (10/5): I love this place - Everything, the staff is very nice helpful & friendly (some of them) the other guests are friendly, helpful, & respectable, toward each other it's very nice, very clean, the location is perfect I'm only 8 minutes away from work, there are lots of shops restaurants to visit I love it here!!!!!!
- Carole (4/5): - When I booked the room I was not advised that this was an extended stay hotel with specific desk check in hours. I arrived at 7 pm and there was no one there to check me in. A sign said to call 500 from house phone it rang the phone on the front desk where there was no one. Luckily a guest knew one of the staff that was staying on the premises. Otherwise what? If you book, make sure you make the specific check in window.
The room has towels, soap and shampoo. 2 plastic cups. No other amenities. No ice machine. No wifi. The room was clean, but not sparkling.
- Christne (6/5): Not so great. - The room was dark. One light bulb was missing in the ceiling. The lamp was missing a light bulb. I didn’t use the refrigerator but I opened it and the bottom right drawer was dirty, made me question what else was forgotten when the room was “cleaned”. Someone else’s key was still left behind in the room as well. I just needed to sleep so I did and left at 4:30am.
- Rashean (1/5): Bad -
- Yadira (3/5): After an hour and half waiting , room was not ready so we left close to 5pm.r o 5p! - No clue. Did not stay as I was unable to register. Not leave just ONE worker to do cleaning and registration!!
- Montanna (1/5): Bad -
- Cloyce (8/5): - Need to pick up trash around the Hotel more.
- Tracey (6/5): - Very nice area close to a lots of things to do
- Olga (1/5): Bad - They They changed more the what the say
- Olga (2/5): Very poor -
- Luis Manuel (10/5): - Good
- Amanda (8/5): - Front desk lady is very nice to help me out to check in.
- Louise (4/5): - The WiFi did not work. Only coffee in the lobby. No coffee maker in the room. No toiletries . The elevator smelled bad. There was no one at the desk most of the time. The room was clean and quiet.
- Durie (7/5): Good -
- ERICK (4/5): - No one came to clean the room the 28 days i was there
- Jekimya (1/5): Trash - N/a The fact that my reservation supposedly never made it to them and this isn’t the first time this has happened. It’s like they hated me for staying a short period of time. Bad management, basically threw an army vet out on the street with no intention of resolving anything. Nasty crew of people that work there. This place needs new management badly. They canceled one of my reservations and then flat out stated my next wasn’t received. What a dirty bunch of ppl.
- David (4/5): - check in time is 3pm, but my room not ready. asked for first floor, but not ready, ended up on second floor. Partialy disabled, and room was far away. Room was semi dirty, mirror in bathroom was terrible. No coffee in room, or lobby. Wifi was limited to one email and slow. I guess you get what you pay for. Lobby vacant after 8pm and does not open until 9 am next day.
- Ellis (8/5): - Great service from the young lady on duty
- Alexis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jekimya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Antonio (7/5): Good - Location Staff and maintenance
