• TAEWOONG (9/5): - I loved the convenience of the little vending machine and the seamless access provided by the single card entry system. The location was a bit creepy. We encountered several roads that felt unsafe for walkers and had a rather gloomy atmosphere. Still, the hotel itself was quite charming.

Ca să ieși în această parodie de balcon trebuia să-ți "contorsionezi" corpul, existând riscul în permanență să faci o entorsă, dacă nu erai atent. Mă întreb cine validează o asemenea "mizerie" ca fiind balcon ?!?!?!????

• Julian (7/5): Spacious, quiet, well connected. Could have been cleaner (but no dealbreaker) - Location was great, as it was a few minutes walk away from Denden Town (Osaka's Akihabara) and Shinsekai. Dotombori is also a 20 minute walk away. The place was quiet, and spacious, and allowed us to repack our bags a little before closing off our journey through Japan. There are convenience stores everywhere, and the JR Loop Line and also the Subway are not too far away, in case you want to get to the 2025 Expo or USJ, it's rather easy. While the room in general was clean, we wanted to move the beds, so as to have them together (my girlfriend and I stayed there) but we found out that the floor beneath the beds was very filthy. I even found some Yen (at least). So, we left the beds where they were so as to not to disturb the dust... Also, while staff was very nice via the Booking chat, there was nobody on site. The box keycode for the room key is also not very well hidden (not to go into details here). So, if ever a problem arises, I see a big issue here whereby nobody's there to help you unless called. And one would have no idea once that arrives.

• Sara (10/5): Very nice modern Japanese style apartment, comfortable, clean, helpful staff, near center and metro - Very comfortable clean and spacious apartment near center Namba and close to metro stations, also very near denki town. Also very quiet area for good sleep. Convenient self checkin, quick reply and very helpful staff. Unfortunately can't leave your luggage after check-out, but the station with lockers is near.

• Chikako (4/5): - If the purpose is sightseeing, the place is very good. However, the condition of the room was bad. The drainage of the bathtub and washbasin was bad, and the water accumulated. The snack scum that the previous guest ate was falling under the living room. The sheets look clean, but there is a lot of dust in the corners of the room, and I don't think the cleaning is thorough. Maybe it can't be helped considering the price. However, there was stress about the poor drainage.

• James (4/5): Nice accomodation but terrible WiFi - Room was clean and everything (except internet) worked. Staff responded promptly to my concerns via email. Room smelled like cigarette smoke upon arrival but staff quickly reassigned me to a similar room without smoke smell. Fresh towels were already in the room for each of the 4 nights I booked. This is not a conventional 'hotel'. Check in and check out are non-staffed using a key lock box with minimal services. WiFi was dreadfully slow, especially in the evenings. While my WiFi signal was strong, many times I could not even connect my devices to the internet. Staff responded by checking the WiFi in the DAYTIME and saying there was no problem even though I told them the worst WiFi performance is in the EVENINGs. Minor thing: Recommend that you bring your own slippers because the slippers provided were so flimsy that they stuck to my feet and were difficult to get on and off.

The street doesn't look too inviting at first but it's quiet and the location is just unbeatable with the shin-sekai market street, denden town (Osaka's own Akihabara) many great touristic spots and of course the nippombashi area with countless eating and drinking options and an awesome nightlife, all of this less than 10 minutes walk away. The hotel itself is great. Sacious rooms (at least in comparison with what you can find in Tokyo for this price and even up) with everything you need and more (keetle, microwave, sticks, glasses, services and even a cooking plate). There's also a washing machine at the reception.It almost feels like a mini appartment. You don't have to give back the key to the reception so you're really independent. Counterpart to that is that they don't interact with you either. They don't clean rooms during the day and the reception staff are only present from 14 to 23 but do you really need them at all time? We didn't and it was overall a great experience. As I allready said the location is unbeatable and we appreciated the feel of independence. Would come back without hesitation. Wpuld and will recommend

• A9889 (10/5): Great stay - We stayed for a few nights in a western style room. It was a really handy location. Not too noisy and close to the train station. You can easily get to pretty much anywhere from JR Shin-Imamiya and it’s only a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Also very close to a big Donquijote! The room was comfy and there is plenty of space compared to other places we stayed in Japan. The staff were brilliant and really welcoming, although it’s not a 24 hour desk but that didn’t cause us any problems. The rooms were more like apartments really but that was perfect for us. Probably if you’re looking for a hotel (with room service and daily housekeeping etc) this is not the place for you. But if you’re after something a bit more self catering like we were then this place is perfect. Our room had a little kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, which was helpful. The rooms are clean and comfy and we had a really pleasant stay. We would definitely stay again if were in Osaka. A note about the area: I was a bit nervous at first about booking a hotel in this part of Osaka because of some of the reviews I had read online, but it turned out that there was absolutely no need for any concern. Sure it’s not the fanciest part of town but, applying Western European standards, it would probably be thought fairly average. I probably would not have ventured south of Shin-Imamiya on my own but the hotel is to the north, towards Namba, so walking to and from the station at both day and night was no problem.

• 76frankv (8/5): comfortable and reasonable priced - We stayed 3 nights in this hotel to visit Osaka and Nara. Our Western style room was very comfortable and had just enough space for our 2 large suitcases. During the night there was minimal sound from outside. The only small downside was that we had to change our towels by the reception and that they were only open during limited hours. Hotel is located nearby many restaurants and pubs. JR station Shinimamya is a easy 15 minutes walk and Dotonburi area is reached in about 20 minutes on foot.

• BuccaneerDave (6/5): New. Quiet. Lots of in room conveniences. But .... - It is a new property. Give you that. Once you're in the room for a bit you begin to appreciate that there are a lot little conveniences in there. That's good. Quiet area of town so good for sleeping. But .... the beds are really uncomfortable. The pillows are without a doubt the worst, cheapest pillows I've ever come across. We had tried to book a room with futon as those rooms are nearly twice the size and the layout looks great. The futon would have been much more comfortable I am sure. There is no housekeeping but that's not a deal breaker. The only inconvenient part about that is you can only exchange towels after 2 pm and before 10 pm. We were never there during those hours. And it's quiet because it's really out of the way from any of the action of Osaka. That's good and bad but we did have the feeling that it would be a more vibrant neighbourhood than it was. Both of us are avid walkers so we did get a lot of mileage in staying here but if you're not keen on taking public transportation and walking instead just be prepared for a lot of walking. So it was an okay place to stay but didn't sleep that well because of the beds and it was kind out of the way so would just have to give it a 3.

Les casiers bagages de la gare tennoji étaient complets...on s'est donc trainé nos valises jusqu'à l'accès à la chambre (15h00). La chambre était de bonne qualité avec kitchenette mais le wifi était bas débit.

• JC (10/5): Pleasant hotel in walkable distance to Namba - Hotel itself was pretty new and though the building and lobby appeared tiny the room was spacious (keeping in mind the standards for Japan are different to elsewhere). An in-room kitchenette (microwave, sink, stove) could also be helpful for guests. Location is superb as it's walkable to Namba and Tsutenkaku.

• MikunieAng (8/5): Strategic Location, New, Clean and Quiet. - The hotel is new, quiet and is very clean. We booked the Japanese Style Room and are very satisfied with the size and layout. It is only 3 minutes walk to Ebisucho Station on Sakaisuji Line. If you are planning to go Rinku Premium Outlet / Kansai Airport, Imamiyaebisu Station on Nankai Line is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Family Mart, DenDen Town, Shinsekai (lots of eateries here) & Tsutenkaku Tower are all very nearby, only 5 minutes walk. Very convenient. Will definitely stay here again in future.

We had a late arrival and the hotel made sure to stay around to wait for us to check in. I was worried that the room would be too small for us but it turned out to be very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time at this hotel.
