Merel (8/5): Prima verblijf. - Prima, ruim opgezette kamer en badkamer. Het personeel sprak weinig Engels. Ze wilden ons wel heel graag helpen, maar door de communicatie was dit lastig. Van tevoren had ik gevraagd of zij de safari konden regelen vanuit het hotel, dit werd bevestigd. Bij aankomst bleken de medewerkers die op dat moment werkzaam waren hier niks vanaf te weten. Door de moeilijke communicatie was het hierdoor lastig om dit last minute nog te regelen. Uiteindelijk is het wel gelukt, maar ik zou aanraden om dagtrips zelf te regelen in plaats van via het hotel.

Anne (7/5): - Un séjour en demi teinte. Les draps étaient propres tout comme les sanitaires malheureusement les serviettes avaient des anciennes traces de maquillage. La climatisation fonctionnait bien. La chambre est relativement spatieuse. la piscine était agréable également et calme. L'hôtel est bien située pour visiter les temples. Pour le centre ville, il est nécessaire d'avoir recours à un tuk tuk pour 10-15min; cela n'est pas gênant en soi. La bouilloire avait une odeur et un goût de terre ; après vérification d'un employé, il convient qu'elle devrait être nettoyée. Si vous souhaitez du repos, ne réservez pas cet hôtel. Les murs sont fins comme du papier à cigarettes et vous entendrez le bruit des voisins (dès 5h du matin comme moi si vous êtes chanceux), le téléphone de la réception , les chaises qui sont traînées sur le sol etc...
Marcel (8/5): Gutes Hotel, guter Service - Sehr schönes Hotel, sehr gut ausgestattete Zimmer und schöner Poolbereich. Das Personal ist absolut zuvorkommend und freundlich. Frühstück und Abendessen haben den Erwartungen entsprochen. Einziges Manko: ziemlich hellhörig sowohl im offenen Innenraum, an den alle Zimmer inkl. Rezeption grenzen, als auch von außen, wo man, nicht laut, aber konstant, bis spät in die Nacht die Bässe des Nachbarhotels im Zimmer hatte.

Staff were very kind and helpful, they offered us drinks each time we arrived to the hotel and also helped arrange tuk tuks and dinner/breakfast at the hotel. Definitely recommend staying here.

Piccola piscina con vista risaie, un gran sollievo al rientro dalla visita della città. Staff molto gentile, pronto a soddisfare tempestivamente le nostre richieste. Ci ha trovato contatto per organizzare safari a Wilpattu e transfer per l'aeroporto.

Handige tafel en salon voor de kamerdeur die je kan gebruiken. Wij vertrokken te vroeg in de ochtend en konden er ons eigen ontbijtje eten. Personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Beetje lawaaierig in de ochtend want het hotel ligt aan een drukke weg

Laura (8/5): Bien para descansar después del viaje desde Europa. - La instalaciones son nuevas y limpias (incluso el baño tiene una mampara!). Las vistas desde la habitación son bonitas si es temporada de riego porque da directamente a los arrozales. El personal es muy majo, y el hotel está cerca de algunos de los templos gratuitos y más importantes de la ciudad. Wifi y aire acondicionado muy bien. El desayuno occidental vale más de 5 euros por persona, lo cual es caro comparado con el precio de las comidas en el país. Es completo porque incluye tortilla francesa, fruta, zumo y café, pero aún así es caro. Cenamos en el hotel y fue barato, pero de calidad normal.

Samantha (8/5): Very good - It was in a quiet location, next to fields full of birds and away from the hustle and bustle. The swimming pool was a huge bonus after a very hot day visiting temples. The manager was especially helpful and hired bikes for us to visit the temple complex. There was a strong smell of insect spray (we think) in our room throughout our 2 night stay which was quite off putting
Christopher (9/5): Superb - Well run hotel. Very clean, good-sized room with balcony and lovely view over Paddy fields. Great small pool and breakfast ( extra cost) . Comfy bed and excellent A/C Poor/no wifi in room. Would have given a 10 if this was improved. Not a negative but a point to note, an Auto/ taxi needed if you want to go to the centre as too far to walk.

The restaurant's food was excellent, but the menu's variety might use some work. More Sri Lankan dishes, particularly from the region, could be introduced.

Verified traveler (8/5): Great hotel! - We had a wonderful stay at Green View. The hotel is newly build, comfortable and immaculately clean. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast and dinner were great. Location is good to see the sights. We would recommend staying here!

Verified traveler (10/5): Unbelievable value for money - This place is amazing. It was the first place we stayed in in Sri Lanka and we were really pleasantly surprised. Check-in was quick, the staff were really friendly, the room was clean and spacious, the air-conditioning worked very well, the pool was lovely with a gorgeous view, the bathroom was well equipped, and the kottu roti that we had for dinner was delicious. The hotel is just outside of Anuradhapura but it’s only a maximum 10 minute tuk tuk ride to the sacred sites (200 LKR max). You can flag a tuk tuk down on the road or you can ask the hotel to call you one. Overall, we thought it was much nicer staying just outside of the city in these beautiful surroundings for such a reasonable price, than staying right in the middle of the city.
Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastic Local Inn and we will be back! - Fantastic find on hotels.com! Excellent Value for your money! Nice Boutique-Inn, but the rooms were big, clean and the hotel overall looked very appealing. The rooms look exactly like they do on the pictures. Staff is friendly and warm, but could be more professional. Looks like a new local hotel, and so there maybe some errors/ miscommunications when you book through hotel.com, but in such event, if you write to them directly or talk to them, they will be very responsive and will do their best to resolve or help you. The location seems perfect too, but we didn't get the time to explore the area nearby as we had to leave around 6 am the next morning, and only got to check in late the previous night as well. But we definitely plan to be back and will be recommending the place to all our friends and family too!
