Walks in the area were nice and easily accessed, and shopping areas close by We found the kitchen area very cold, although the radiator was on
We found the pillows too hard and we usually take our own so our own fault for forgetting them
- Nathalie (10/5): - As always, the house was clean and inviting. Everything is done so that it feel like you are home - the beds are comfy and the space is brilliant for a family of 5/6.
It is situated withing distance of the train station into Edinburgh, Aldi/Lidl are within a 5 minutes drive and Almondvale shopping centre is withing a 10 minite drive. There is a lovely park for young children close by.
For me, it is the best!

Es ist sehr viel Platz in der Unterkunft, ebenso mäßig ausreichend sind Geschirr, Handtücher, Putzmittel etc . Alles da. Ebenso Kaffee und Tee, Zucker.
Auch die Ausstattung -Schneidebretter, Sieb, usw. - alles da. An der Sauberkeit muss gearbeitet werden und einige Reparaturen sollten ebenso erfolgen. Das eine oder andere Möbelstück könnte auch mal ausgetauscht werden.
Man sollte sich im Klaren sein, dass man hier in der Einflugschneise zum Flughafen ist.

The kitchen was fully equipped, including tea, coffee, and even spices, which was a lovely touch. The host was super friendly and very informative, making our arrival and stay smooth.
The surroundings are quiet and green, offering a peaceful atmosphere. There are supermarkets nearby and many restaurants deliver to the flat, which was very convenient for us. The location is amazing—only about a 35-minute drive to Edinburgh, making it a great base for exploring the area.
The flat is just a 4-minute walk from the station, though we had a car and used our own parking. Still, having such easy access to public transport is a great bonus.
Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, space, and a calm but well-connected location

- Debbie (6/5): It is okay for a cheap and short stay. - Location is close to train station. 25 minutes to Edinburgh and 1 hour to Glasgow. Close to grocery stores. Improvements are desperately needed. The beds are lumpy. The masters bedroom is on the third floor and the stairs are a bit difficult for an older person. When we arrived, the black bin was already full of garbage.

The house is a great location, Just a few minute walk from the train station which takes just 20 minutes to Edinburgh and a shirt uber ride from the airport.
The supermarket and other amenities are just a short walk.
The house had all amenities we needed.
4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a cloakroom toilet meant a group of 6 adults had plenty of space.

- Alan (5/5): Tired needs upgrading - Cutlery and crockery not clean..greasy plates. Dishwasher but no cleaning tabs. Fridge door does not stay shut as the magnetic door seals failed...yet the PAT Test report gave it a pass! The microwave is very rusty inside...not fit for purpose.. Overall a rather tired interior the double bed was noisy...cheap metal frame.
