Kevin (8/5): We have stayed at the Ransdale 3 times now, so it is our hotel of choice in Bridlington. - Excellent Breakfast served by the lovely staff. Bar facilities so you can relax and have a drink before retiring to your room. Bus stop right outside the hotel so easy to get around. 400 metre walk and you are on North Beach. We did book the small pet friendly room, so the small shower and space was to be expected.

brian (10/5): First time visit to Bridlington, hotel was perfect for our holiday, quiet location, beach nearby - Tim and Louise made us very welcome from the start, room was very comfortable, quiet and clean, rooms cleaned every day, breakfast good selection cereal yogurt, eggs and full English, or combination from menu, evening meals was very good, set menu, also specials on board. Always nice jovial atmosphere in the lounge / dining room from all staff, and made us feel very welcome. Aways helpful with information on travel destinations, two bus stops just outside the hotel. North promenade beach 5 minute walk from hotel. Dogs are also welcome in the hotel, which did not cause us any problems and was well behaved. There is nothing we could find to write against the hotel, not sure of the age of the hotel but the decor is in good condition, some people may not like the one room for dining and lounge, this is the layout of the hotel.

Had an evening meal which was made to order and just delicious, same for breakfast the following morning. Unfortunately the room we had was split into two very small rooms with a very thin stud wall. They had another dog owner in the room next door so this was quite a shame. Could hear next doors tv too due to walls being thin so was anxious they could hear ours. Had our dogs barking back and forth in the night. If you’re saying dog friendly, this wall needs to be sound rated as it was an awkward nights sleep. To charge £10.00 at end of stay for dogs too really took the mick with this issue. I was expecting a how was your stay and a chance to explain this issue but it was a “£20.00 please for having a dog”. No functional heating so was given an oil radiator and nothing heating the bathroom. Can’t say I was impressed!

Steve (7/5): - The Ransdale staff are cheerful, have great local knowledge and are very accommodating, with the hotel being only a few hundred yards to the seafront, and is close to a supermarket. The dining/bar area is very pleasant, and the food was excellent. The ground floor room layout in no 3 is restrictive, and has a tall bedhead against the window, making it difficult to operate opening and closing of blinds and curtains, with a narrow approach to the door making manouvering a wheelchair into it problematic.
