Guest Reviews
- Jasmin (10/5): -
- Fiona (9/5): Stunning views, lovely staff - The biggest strengths of the property are the views and the staff. Each of the staff members we met, from the front desk, to the porter, guide, restaurant staff, all were extremely friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast was decent, with cereal, fruit, yogurt, bread, and eggs to order, with the option for to-go bags if you needed breakfast earlier than 7am.
The lodge is located just outside the southern entrance of the TDP park. The water pressure was terrible. Very low pressure and would jump from boiling hot to freezing cold, so was very difficult to shower.
Also, to note, (we were aware of this based on previous reviews) toilet paper cannot be disposed in the toilets (same as the other hotels in Rio Serrano). Would be helpful if the bathrooms were at least equipped with little sanitary bags to dispose the used paper into before throwing into the bin.
I totally understand that this is a remote destination, but for the price that is being charged, you would expect these basic necessities.
- Andrea (10/5): - All of Nothing
- John (10/5): Great views with super friendly staff! - Beautiful views with super friendly staff. As part of our reservation we got 90 minutes in a hot tub by the river. It was great. The place was quiet and relaxing. The dinner we had at the restaurant was very good and filling!
- bbaybelle (9/5): Great views, excellent tours - A quiet lodge with about 20 rooms, all of which have a fantastic view over the massif. The lounge / breakfast area is a pleasant place to sit. The restaurant is a 5 minute walk away, as is the neighboring hotel which also has a restaurant. We booked tours through the lodge which were excellent - great guides. The restaurant food isn't great and becomes really monotonous after a few days. Same thing with the packed lunches they send you on the hikes. Given the location of the lodge you need to take a car / bus / van / tour to hike or see anything - but this a common feature of lodges which are adjacent to but not inside the park.

- Wisniak (10/5): Beautiful - Beautiful place. Very helpful staff. Comfortable rooms.
- SIMON (9/5): -
- Eglė (9/5): - Amazing view with horses walking free in hotels terrace
- Bruno Rafael (10/5): -
- Charles (8/5): - The views of Torres del Paine are vast and breathtaking from the room, the lounge, the hot v tub and the restaurant. Infinite serenity. Luis was a gem of a conductor. The promised excursions aren’t available. We were told twice that we could book when we arrived, but they didn’t have guides for our preferred hikes. That was deeply disappointing when one had only a few days to explore.
- Anne Louise (8/5): -
- Sharyn (10/5): Lovely hotel in a magical location. - Very comfortable and friendly. Staff were excellent, especially the boys on reception. Very clean. Restaurant was excellent too. The location was amazing with incredible views of the mountains. Nothing.
- Yaniv (10/5): Very enjoyable stay at Pampa Lodge - Pampa Lodge is an excellent hotel in every possible way! Comfortable guest rooms and shared spaces – all with stunning views, gorgeous grounds with boardwalks overlooking the mountains, great breakfast and coffee/tea station available at all times, and excellent service by all hotel staff – everything is top notch five stars! We had a very enjoyable 3-night stay at the lodge – the hardest thing was to say goodbye!

- Xinyi (9/5): Beautiful location, convenient for Torres Del Paine national park visit - Location, beautiful place, you can see Torres from the window of your room None
- Elizabeth (10/5): -
- Ekaterina (10/5): - Beautiful location, high end hotel, fancy rooms.
- Dino (8/5): - Nice location, good hotel. It looks brand new, stunning view on the mountain. Great breakfast. A bit overpriced though. For half this price you’ll find another hotel nearby that is only a bit less luxury.
- Zoë (9/5): A magical stay in Patagonia - We were in awe of the location and how beautiful the setting was - mountain backdrop, river flowing by and ponies roaming around the ground. Nearly all of the staff were amazing, so warm and welcoming, plus a good sense of humour! The guys serving breakfast and dinner were fantastic, even when very busy they still had a smile and upbeat mood. Our beds were comfy and a good size, the rooms were cosy and with good WiFi. Showers sometimes were temperamental but I think that can be forgiven! Plus staff would check in when they noticed a problem to ensure it was resolved. The restaurant serves up spectacular steaks, and we received a lovely surprise when the waiters hearf of our engagement news. What a truly special spot, it really added to the magic of our engagement.. thank you so much! One of the days our room was missed by housekeeping.. tbh it didn't feel worth flagging and I'm sure it would have been addressed had we said so. Nearly all of the staff were absolutely fantastic, it was only our receptionist who was perhaps a little cold and dare I say disinterested when interacting with her.. but I'm sure we've all had our similar moments
- Alexander (10/5): We very very satisfied with our stay as the hotel was perfectly located for our daily hikes in Torres del Paine. The sta - Very nice lodge with very friendly staff. Very good location to do the W Trekk if you are not too much into camping.
- Bianca (9/5): Hopefully we will be back - Amazing Location. Very nice staff. Riding very good. Horses well cared for. Excellent food. Rooms are noisy from the corridor
- Ruben (10/5): -
- Dean (9/5): Largely met expectations except for restaurant. - Excellent breakfast, location, staff, cleanliness, comfort. Hotel was way overpriced perhaps due to Christmas. Restaurant may have been overwhelmed for Christmas Eve, but it was also ridiculously overpriced and the service was abysmal. It took over an hour to get the appetizer, 3 hours for the meal, and steak was undercooked, almost raw. Restaurant shouldn't accept more reservations than they can handle.
- Samuel (9/5): Comfortable smart hotel close to national park - Very comfortable rooms with large bed and bathroom. Extensive tasty breakfast - which was also available to takeaway for an early start. Very close to park entrance. Smart decor throughout with great views.
Restaurant on property nice food.
- Sri priya (9/5): -
- Irina (8/5): - Beautiful views, clean and modern rooms. Sweet staff. Breakfast options very limited.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Could not be more beautiful.

- Marine (6/5): Phenomenal location and excellent staff, but the accommodation is overpriced and far below the quality you get for the s - The location is phenomenal, offering breathtaking views. The staff were amazing and made the stay more enjoyable. However, the quality of the hotel falls far short of the price point. For the same cost, the Rio Serrano next door offers 10x the quality of accommodation.

- Jorge (8/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): - Very friendly and accommodating staff. Location and views are off the charts. Restaurant was excellent.
- Alexander (7/5): Hotel with a perfect view, not worth the price though - The view is incredible. All rooms face the mountain range. You get a free breakfast box if you leave very early. Besides the view, the hotel is pretty basic with clean, standard sized and furnished rooms. Don’t expect a fancy hotel for the price you are paying. Nothing special, the staff doesnt go the extra mile. You get served instant coffee and when asked if we could get a little bit of butter for our very early next morning hike, the chef of the restaurant just said no. Come on, I‘d expect more for 400 USD per night.
- christophe (7/5): - Superbe Hotel.
- Batu (4/5): OK but could be so much better. - The location is amazing. It is the best location in that area because it is right on the river, overseeing the mountains with no obstruction, and they 3 jacuzzis facing the mountains. The landscape made up of the trees and horses walking around in the foreground is fantastic. All the rooms have excellent views. The reception is a bit of a walk from the parking lot but there is a very nice feel to the walk among the trees, the horses and the hares you see every now and then. The hotel has a lot of potential. The rooms are modern, all have beautiful views, and the overall design feels contemporary. With a bit more investment and attention from management, this could be a really special place.
Unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite match the setting. The hotel feels very quiet and almost deserted outside of breakfast time, and the small team means there were moments with no one at reception, even when guests were trying to check in. Breakfast is simple with limited options, and the coffee is poor. Given the fantastic views, the bar is also a missed opportunity – just a very small selection of basic drinks and snacks.
Dinner is served at a separate restaurant, where our first meal took almost 2 hours for two soups, one salad, one hummus and water. Only after we asked were we told there had been a technical issue, and there was no real gesture to make up for the delay. The food itself was underwhelming, so we chose not to return.
In the room, the shower temperature fluctuated suddenly between very hot and very cold, which felt unsafe. I also had stained sheets on arrival (they were changed when reported), and one day a used bathroom mat was left on the desk where our computers were.
With its location, views, and modern rooms, this hotel could be wonderful, but at the moment the service and attention to detail need real improvement.

- Tilly (8/5): A stay with the best mountain View - The magnificent View….. woke up to a different mountain each day.
The staff were super helpful and friendly. A comfortable room and lovely breakfast
- Andrea Salman (4/5): - Buena vista, limpio buenas camas.
- Nestor (10/5): -
- Magna (8/5): Great stay - Mario, our waiter, was so friendly and so full of great information and ideas. It was very rainy and windy on our first day so we stayed in mostly except for a short hike. The next morning we finally saw the view that makes the hotel great. Love seeing the horses and cows roam. Very close to the river Serrano which is very peaceful. Great meal at the restaurant. Definitely pricey hotel but it’s really paying for the location.
- Charlie (7/5): - Great location and new rooms / common area. Not enough staff it seemed. No one on the bar, no music or atmosphere in common area which is a shame as it has potential.
- Christine (10/5): Comfortable accommodation in a stunning location! - The location in the valley is amazing- the view onto the mountains and grass area adjacent to the river Very friendly and helpful staff who were always happy to assist.
- Scott (9/5): -
- Paulina (9/5): - The location is amazing with an incredible view and a idyllic setting with the horses and river. The staff was extremely kind including Marius and Maari at the reception. The dinner was always delicious with a great selection also for vegetarians. It was a tad expensive.
- Kenneth (10/5): - Unbelievable location and views. Highly recommended if you want ease of access to Torres and a comfortable place to sleep.
Food and restaurant were also amazing.
Staff was unbelievably accommodating, prompt, and nice. I can't thank them enough for the stay.
It's important to consider these are essentially off grid properties. You shouldn't expect the Ritz - you are here to be close to Torres :)
- Sigrid (10/5): Traumhaft Tage - Wundervolle Lage, ganz besonders freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Sehr gepflegte Anlage.
- Reinhard (10/5): -
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful! - Comfortable room. As with most hotels in the area, walls and fairly thin, so hearing other guests coming and going can be noisy. It’s more than compensated for, though, by the friendly staff, comfortable shared spaces, and incredible view. Stay here . . You won’t be sorry!
