- Florence (6/5): - Très bon emplacement! Très bel hôtel ! Ascenseur en panne durant notre séjour de deux ́nuits ! Chambres au 5ème étage ! Il me semble que pour un hôtel 5 étoiles ce problème aurait dû être solutionner rapidement ! Pour le désagrément nous avons eu droit a une boisson offerte ! Sachant que j'ai loué 2 chambres de trois personnes pour un montant élevé forcément je suis déçue ! ( pour nous facturer le paquet de m&m's pris dans le frigo l'hôtel a par contre fait preuve d'une grande réactivité !!!).

But for solo travelers, stuff at the reception and restaurant serves for breakfast had negative vibes. Something wrong with management. Employees are not happy. It reflects on their customers and I wasn’t happy to be there.

For the price I paid I was hoping for a room with a view of the river. I had a view of a wall. Tables at breakfast could have been cleaner and brewed coffee would have been better than the machine.

- Richard (9/5): Charming Historical Hotel with Excellent Facilities (and One Easy Fix) - The main building is a beautiful historical property with tastefully done interiors throughout — from the lighting to the furniture, every detail feels considered. The rooms are genuinely luxurious and well planned, with a comfortable bed, a generously sized and well-positioned TV, and a lovely shower. Breakfast was excellent — high quality, great value, and served in a beautifully decorated and lit dining area. The spa is a nice touch, with a sauna and steam room that just about reach the temperature you'd want — they could be a touch hotter, but they did the job. The indoor pool is a decent size, just long enough that each length feels like a proper swim, and the gym is solid too. One real frustration was the TV. While it's a lovely large flat screen, it's an older model (around 2012) with no accessible HDMI port, so there's no way to plug in a laptop or phone. Being an older set, it also doesn't support casting from Apple devices. The fix would be simple — just add an HDMI extension cable with the socket mounted below the TV or on the wall. For a modern, premium hotel, being able to connect a laptop or iPad to the TV feels like a basic expectation, and this is an area that could do with some updating.

- Leslie (8/5): A lovely place to stay when you explore Amsterdam (as long as you can climb stairs!) - Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff was extremely helpful, particularly the concierge. My room was spotless and the breakfast was delicious. The elevator in the main building was broken, making it difficult to access the reception area when I arrived, and breakfast each day because I had an infant in a stroller. A warning would have been appreciated, particularly when I arrived. That being said, teh staff was very helpful making me a card to access the building with a working elevator. however, it was still extremely difficult to get to breakfast, and required either asking teh staff to help me carry the stroller down stairs, or to let me in a side entrance to the building.

- Illia Olenchenko (9/5): - Overall, the location and rooms were quite good. Maybe some improvements could be done, as in cleanliness, but it wasn't a big bother. I would say the only thing to mention is that valet parking was quite interesting, because they would still use their regular parking. To mention that they don't have any other options for parking, so basically they are getting money, maybe extra, because they've been using the general parking like anyone else. That information could be more open. Breakfast menu option could be more various.

- Pia (5/5): Ich probiere beim nächsten Besuch ein anderes Hotel. - Ruhig Zimmer groß genug Toilette extra Pool Zu weit weg von der City Sauna nicht in Betrieb Personal war generell freundlich bis auf Alexandre. Beim Einchecken habe ich meinen Namen genannt. Ich habe mich gewundert, dass ich nur die Schlüssel für ein Zimmer bekommen habe. Meine Nachfrage hat offenbar genervt und ich wurde kritisiert, dass ich nur nach einem Zimmer gefragt hätte. Als ich antwortete, dass das nicht stimmt, bestand der Mitarbeiter darauf. Selbst, wenn es so gewesen wäre, wie ungeschickt! Aber wahrscheinlich lag es an mir. Am nächsten Morgen wollte er nicht mal meinen Gruß erwidern. Schlechte Einstellung, wenn man im Service arbeitet. Vor dem Aufenthalt habe ich einen Haufen unsinniger Mails erhalten. Meine eigentlichen Fragen wurden nicht beantwortet

- romanov899 (10/5): Try the restaurant for dinner and you will be suprised. - On Sathurday the 4th of April we have visit the Pestana Amsterdam Riverside restaurant on the Amsteldijk together with my wife and mother. De quality of the food was 10 out of 10 and the service of the staff was exellent. They made us feel very special. We were suprised that the restaurant wasn't packed and fully booked. So a free tip for all and espacially to the tourists, if you want to have a great dinner for a reasonable price, then skip all tourist and average restaurants and try this one for a change. You will be impressed for sure. So thanks again and see you soon.

- Dominik (10/5): Erstklassiges Hotel mit herausragendem Service und Top-Lage - Das Hotel überzeugt auf ganzer Linie und verdient ohne Zweifel die Bewertung „erste Klasse“. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der exzellente Service, der hier eindeutig im Mittelpunkt steht und den Aufenthalt spürbar aufwertet. Die Zimmer präsentierten sich stets in einem sehr gepflegten und einladenden Zustand. Auch der Wellnessbereich mit Sauna und Pool sowie der Sportbereich waren durchgehend sauber und bestens instand gehalten – es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die hervorragende Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Amsterdam. Die Stadt ist schnell und unkompliziert mit einem vor Ort geliehenen Fahrrad erreichbar. Amsterdam auf diese Weise zu erkunden, ist ein besonderes Erlebnis, das ich nur empfehlen kann – entspannt, flexibel und mit ganz eigenem Charme. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, der keine Wünsche offenlässt. Ein kleiner negativer Punkt betrifft die geliehenen Fahrräder, die technisch teilweise etwas überarbeitet werden könnten. Dies ist jedoch eher als „Luxusproblem“ zu sehen und fällt im Gesamtbild kaum ins Gewicht.

- Paul (9/5): Insgesamt ein sehr schönes und hochwertiges Hotel, mit sehr freundlichem Personal in super Lage. - Die Zimmer sind sehr stilvoll und komfortabel. Wir hatten ein Loft für 4 Personen (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) mir sehr ruhiger Lage. Das Bett war sehr bequem, allerdings ist das Schlafsofa für Kinder von 12 und 15 zu klein. Dies gilt auch für das Zimmer insgesamt, da es fast kein Stauraum gibt. Dennoch haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt, da das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit war. Die Lage des Hotels ist super und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten mit dem Fahrrad problemlos in maximal 15 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist für ein 5-Sterne Hotel etwas dürftig und maximal auf 4 Sterne Niveau. Das von uns gebuchte Zimmer (Loft) ist nicht wirklich für 4 Personen geeignet wenn die Kinder schon etwas älter sind, in unserem Fall 12 und 15. Dennoch ist das Zimmer an sich sehr schön und gemütlich.

- Nicolas (9/5): Muy lindo hotel en De Pijp - Muy lindo hotel, excelente ubicación, con buenas habitaciones, Sauna, Pileta y Gimnasio. Personal de recepción muy atento. Mi habitación tenía una vista excelente al canal, buenas camas e instalaciones. El ingreso es medio raro, es por una escalera, el servicio de limpieza la verdad que no sé bien en qué horario era, porque no estaba desde las 8am hasta las 16hs en la habitación y volví y todavía no habían pasado, un día pasaron tipo 17hs. El restaurant es muy caro para lo que ofrencen.
