- marie (7/5): - Proche du site de petra. Acceuil très aimable. Propre , très bon rapport qualité prix
- Duong (8/5): - 10 minutes walk to Petra Visitor Center, clean bathroom, private bed. No elevator. You have to climb 3-4 stairs to the rooftop.
- Tanapol (10/5): A perfect stay near Petra! - -Owner and staffs were very friendly, helpful and kind
-The room was spacious and clean
-Clean facilities
-Restaurants and grocery store nearby which were great
- 324f218400777017447aa6e1a5763be8 (10/5): - Nice people working there very helpful also the beds are really comfortable and you have nice privacy for the money to quality ratio it’s A 10/10 The only thing was that the showers were a little bit small
- Mowaffaq Awad (4/5): - Nothing Staff
- Tsharle (10/5): -
- Ping (9/5): Comfortable - Very good service nice people good location very clean.
- marisol (10/5): - The hostel is awesome !! It is very convenient because it is very close to the bus station and to the visitor center. 10 min walking.
The place is so cozy, the cabins clean and comfortable a lot of privacy in the cabins. The best thing is to ask for breakfast, lunch box and dinner, it is a reasonable prize and delicious. The wifi is really good.
I love staying there.

- Daniel (6/5): - People were very nice and I like the concept of cabins for privacy in the dorms. Food was realtively expensive and not so good. There are other options around with better value. They also have a laundry service at 4 JOD, but all my clothes smell like smoke now because the laundry was left next to the smoking area.

- Eleanor (10/5): Fantastic and unique hostel! - Amazing unique experience! Wonderful hosts, brilliant breakfast / dinner , close to Petra visitor centre, incredible value for money. Looks unsuspecting on the outside but follow the sign to the top floor and inside it was fantastic! Absolutely nothing negative to say!
- AlejandroX15 (10/5): - This place is great and with close proximity to Petra. They offer a very good dinner and the staff is very welcoming. This is a great option and I would not choose another.
- Luis (7/5): -
- Trish (9/5): - Close to Jett bus stop and entrance to Petra. The have buffet breakfast and supper and will pack a lunch for 3 Jd. After walking all day in Petra it was nice knowing i did not have to walk anymore. The beds are like a double bed in a cube setting, Bathrooms are clean, staff is very helpful. All can be paid by credit card except bus to Wadi Rum that will be paid by cash and pickup is at the hostel. They offer a Bedouin package for 50jd includes 3 hr jeep ride, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I enjoyed my overnight stay. Next I would go for 2 nights but not much to do in Wadi Rum not on a tour but enjoy the scenery!!
- Janča (8/5): - Worth to price
- Dimitri20166 (10/5): - Tout est parfait, les cabines couchage sont top, la salle de bain et le séjour avec les canapés. Proximité avec le site de Petra et le repas du soir est garni. Je recommande vivement Rien, tout est parfait
- Aroop (10/5): Very nice - Location, friendly staff, great wifi, cozy, great food and choice of food. Maybe the amount of stairs to climb on the fire exit to enter the hostel ..it felt risky the first time but then i got used to it.
- Markéta (9/5): Great value for the price - Cheap cabin hostel really close to the entrace to Petra! There is a parking lot in front and there is a lot of empty spaces. You can book breakfast, lunch box to take out and dinner. The hostel is nice and everything is clean. I paid extra to have a cabil with a view but I don't recommend it. The vindows were really dirty from the outside and we couldt see much. You can hear absolutely everything. It's one big room with 30+ people. In the morning around 5:30 we were woken up by music and prayers from mosque nearby. After that some people starter to get up to be early in the Petra so we couln't fall back to sleep.
Also to get to the hostel, you need to climb a small hill (whole Wadi Musa is very hilly) and then climb 4 floors up to the hostel lobby and 1 floon down to the hostel room.
- Trish (9/5): - Close to the entrance to Petra. Food was great, packed lunch for 3 jd.

- Oscar (10/5): Amazing value for money - Loved this hostel. The dorm is basically these big boxes with a mattress, very comfy, lots of room, a safety box inside, the box itself can be locked from the outside, some have a glass wall some don't depends on price.
The food was good, though there are nicer options around, maybe not as cheap. Very clean! quiet, slept really well.
Helpful staff. You can get a bus to Wadi Rum from here at 6 am, also they have trip to wadi rum stay overnight for a really good price. 5 min walking to Petra entrance. I loved it
- Doirn (10/5): -
- Taiki (10/5): - 食事がとてもよかったです。
朝5JOD、昼3JOD、夜7JODで、私は2泊とも昼のランチボックスと夜ご飯を頼みました。とてもお得で美味しかったです。 なし。
- Luca Jonas (9/5): -
- Stevens (10/5): -
- Cochrane (9/5): Very good - It was a very nice hostel. They had a lovely cat
- Grace (6/5): Only good thing is the price - The location is closed to Petra entrance. The accommodation is 7th floor but no lift at all. A charge for cooking, expensive drinking water than supermarket, too dark indoor, weak AC
- Shoko (8/5): - 清潔
スタッフの方が親切
食事をつけなかったが、お湯を無料で頂いたり、バスの時間までフロントで待たせてもらえた。
- Gabor (10/5): - Very close to the visitor center which is a huge plus. If you are on a budget, it is a good choise.
- Pieter (8/5): -
- Rita (10/5): - 3 mins walk away from the visitor center (no need to climb uphill like for other accomodations )
Privacy in the cabins need to pay 3 dinars to use the kitchen. Wadi Musa is expensive because of Petra so cooking in the hostel would be a perfect way to save money. Asking for money to use the kitchen in a hostel is crazy in my opinion

- yuichiro (9/5): 掃除されているホテル - I was surprised at how clean the hotel was.
- Ulrich (10/5): Best choice 😄😄 - Staying at Petra Cabin Rooftop was an unforgettable experience. The rooftop itself offers breathtaking views of the mountains and the town, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Petra. The location is unbeatable—right next to the main entrance of Petra—making it extremely convenient for early visits. What made the stay even better was the staff, who were extremely helpful and friendly, assisting us in organizing tours to Wadi Rum, Wadi Mujib, and other nearby attractions. The rooftop atmosphere is cozy and peaceful, and the food and drinks served there were delicious and reasonably priced. Everything, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the welcoming service, made our stay perfect. I highly recommend Petra Cabin Rooftop to anyone visiting Wadi Musa—it’s the perfect combination of comfort, stunning views, excellent food, and top-notch service."

- Anurak (10/5): - อาหารอร่อยได้เยอะ สะอาด ปลอดภัย ไม่มี
- Santraea (8/5): Felt like a 5star for a solo budget traveler having a double bed in technically own room 😂 - Great room size perfect for a solo traveler who’s slept in single bunk beds her whole trip! The bathrooms were clean and comfortable. There was opportunities for made breakfast pack lunch and dinner. Well worth it and they helped me get a bus to wadi rum. There wasn’t enough space in the fridge to store water or any food I brought.

- Wen-Ching (10/5): Great place to stay for budget travelers in Petra - Extremely clean bathroom, strong wifi, perfect location and friendly staff A bit hot in the capsule, but not really a big deal

- Kamal (8/5): Very good -
- Ting (8/5): Convenient location. Crge for breakfast, dinner and usage of kitchen. - spacious beds with curtain Need to charge $3 to use kitchen each time.
- Chia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brooke (8/5): Great location, great price, small cost stay. - The location was amazing; only walking distance from Petras visitors centre! The hostel was incredibly clean, at all times. The staff were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. They could prepare lunches for us to take the Petra, which was delicious! Snacks and waters available to purchase. Laundry service was very well priced and fast. The upstairs area was great! The capsules were really hot and we could not sleep with the door closed due to it being so hot. It would have been awesome to have a little fan. Would recommend for couples to maybe pay the extra and get one each. The aircon turned off at certain times, but when we asked, they turned it straight on. ☺️
- Cassandra (7/5): Good - Insanely close to Petra entrance which is so convenient and great value for money. The beds were slightly hard
- Lori (10/5): Amazing stay, staff was so friendly. - Staff was extreme friendly. Everything was good
- Noura (10/5): Top Hostel amazing Location - Definetly the best accommodation I had while I was in whole Jordan ,Employees are very friendly and attentive , owner was very honest and helpful !He helped me to arrange all excursions and reccomended me nice restaurants! Hostel is clean and hygienic ! Cabin are well decorated and fresh ! I know where I am gonna stay in Petra for the next time! By the way breakfast variety is great and restaurant offers a wild view to city !I will miss you ! Greetings from israel
- Kayla (9/5): Best price for the location - I really liked the location of the place, it was less than 5 minutes walk to petra entrance and also the bus station. Wadi Musa is super hilly and this was one of the only cheap places that was so close to petra, you didn't have massive hills to walk up. The staff were also very helpful and didn't try sell us things we didn't need. I.e telling us you don't need guides to go on some hikes that you get pressured to taking guides for. did the hike by ourselves and it was perfect. the bathrooms were clean always. we always saw the cleaner going around. there weren't many people there when we went, else I don't know where we would have put our bags had there been. we took up floor space for what should have been 4 beds, I.e. up to 8 people. you're not allowed to do your own laundry in the bathroom. had to pay 3 JOD to use the kitchen. No filtered water to drink.
- Dániel (9/5): Liked it really much - Really well prices rooms. The hotel is at a very good spot in downtown close to Hashem and all the good restaurants and attractions. The receptionist was really friendly, the room was okay, and the breakfast was really nice. The rooms are not so modern. But that was my experience with all accomodation in this price range.
- Anatol (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pedro (7/5): All in all it is a good value for money and well located. - Good Location. Petra entrance easily reachable by walking ACs is common for a big room with beds and was not connected even when asked.
- Sullivan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (10/5): Ideal stopover for a couple of days in Petra. Basic but a good price, good food, and clean. -
- Shreya (6/5): Pleasant -
- Christoffer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelly (5/5): Passable - Thé bed is big and spacious Since I arrived, one of the women who worked there had been intimidating. On the first day, I thought she might just be having a bad day. But over the next two days, she still seemed upset. She raised her voice to tell my friend that there was no gas and that she couldn’t use the microwave—almost shouting at her.
On the last day before I left, she told me I hadn’t paid for my final night and dinner. I was really scared to argue with her, but then she called her boss and it turned out to be okay. Still, during my entire stay, it felt like I was walking on eggshells….
- Johan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luis (8/5): Very good -
- Joseph (10/5): Great stay next to Petra entrance - Very friendly staff, comfortable beds and the location is genuinely a 5 minute walk to the entrance to Petra. WiFi works well, is clean and you can leave bags there. Nothing!
- Iryna (9/5): Superb - I've got a really beautiful room with 2 windows, really appreciate the host. He also gave me 2 blankets just in case. It's close to Jett Bus station and entrance to Petra. The bed is huge and comfortable. They charge 3jod for using the shared kitchen. Hostel is on the last floor, so you gonna suffer bringing your bags up, but the view is nice. The internet was horrible, 5mbps. I would have stayed longer, but can't work remotely with such a low speed, so bear in mind.
- Jakub (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (8/5): Comfortable, warm, kind owners. - I loved having a cabin to myself. The owner brought me an extra blanket just to make sure I wasn’t cold without being asked. Location is great, price is very reasonable. There’s a hairdryer!! Just a suggestion: a bit more information about transport would be helpful. For example: it does say wadi rum bus 6am but doesn’t say that it’s from the hostal. A timetable of the main Jett buses and local buses and where they leave from, on the wall, would be a helpful poster.
And maybe a warning about horse ride scams at Petra entrance, I think everyone gets scammed by those guys. The ride is free btw, don’t pay them!
- Phintsho (7/5): Good -
- Pauline (10/5): Exceptional - Hostel with a great view of Petra, double beds in cabin, hot shower, they can provide breakfast and dinner for a cheap price (for Petra). You can take a local bus early in the morning to go to Wadi Rum, just ask them to book a seat for you. Very clean and well located. A bit cold at night (December)
- Matthew (7/5): Shabby chic but without the chic ;-). - Great value, clean and comfortable. Tbh I'm not usually someone who stays in hostels as I like to have at least some privacy plus I don't love the idea of being kept awake by a room full of people burping, farting and snoring all night. But with the 'cabins' that this hostel has you have some privacy and your own little space, which for me makes a big difference. The hostel wasn't full when I stayed so there wasn't much noise during the night and I slept very well on the comfortable bed. The hostel is in a great location, literally just 10 minutes walk from Petra Visitor Centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful also. Communal areas were dark and bit dingy, the whole places could do with a little TLC really.
- Lotfi (7/5): Good - Cleanliness and tidy rooms Far from city
- Darleng (8/5): Amazing location - Amazing location, walking distance from Petra entrance, I loved they let me shower even after my check-out as I was sweat because of Petra tour and I waited in their facilities till the departure of my bus back to Amman. Very friendly staff. Thank you very much for everything They did not have many options to eat. But I understand eveyone was low occupation because of the conflicts around.
- Jirina (9/5): Perfect experience in Petra - Perfect experience in Petra. Good value for money we slept and ate well. The wardrobe accommodation is great, even though it's hotel type accommodation it provides plenty of privacy and comfort.
Dinner and breakfast were excellent, all served buffet style.
- Shaji (9/5): Superb - Comfortable and spacious cabins, friendly staff and just 5 min walk from Petra. The hostel is on the third floor. No elevator, need to take steps to the third floor with luggage.
- Karolína (10/5): Staff is very friendly and helpful. Meals are very good. Great locations. Perfect choise for backpackers. -
- Savini (10/5): Exceptional - The room was warm and the toilet clean. The staff really nice and kind :)
- Genevieve (10/5): Wonderful! - The location is fantastic - just a short walk from the Petra entrance, you don’t need to rely on shuttle buses or taxis to get there.
Hamza and his team were amazing, so friendly and helpful - they booked me a wonderful stay in Wadi Rum and offered lots of help and advice on getting to Egypt via the ferry in Aqaba, and what to expect.
The cabins were very comfortable to sleep in and well kitted out with a lockbox, Power sockets etc.
Food is so reasonably priced and they cooked for me even when I was the only person eating, even though I’m vegetarian. Really good value at 7JD, I couldn’t finish it all, and it was so tasty as well.
Bathrooms and everywhere else was kept spotlessly clean, I saw people cleaning multiple times a day and felt very happy with the hygiene.
Can’t recommend this place highly enough!
- Cristopher (6/5): Pleasant -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Liz (10/5): Exceptional - The hostel was very well located, a 2 min walk from the entrance to petra. Could not have been closer! The staff were relaxed and were available at all times. They allowed us to leave our bags to go explore petra when we arrived early. The bathrooms were spotless as they were cleaned constantly. The cabins were hot during the day but they cooled down at night which was perfect for sleeping. Definitely good value for money.
- Radana (9/5): Superb - Nice, perfect location and kind staff. Possibility of early breakfast and good dinner.
- Dem (8/5): Very good - Very near Petra and is very good value for money. The capsule beds are very good.
- David (7/5): Ideal location, comfortable enough. - Great location for petra visitor centre. Pods comfy enough. The 5 flights of stairs to get to the property. Noisy past 6am when EVERYONE wakes up for petra. No nice and cheap restaurants in the area. Atmosphere is.... You can tell everyone is there just for petra, which is understandable.
- Ashley (9/5): Great place and cheapest in Petra - Great value place to stay in Petra. The cabins are tiny, just big enough for a mattress and you can't stand up in it but it's cosy and comfortable. Staff are helpful, dinner and breakfast are available at reasonable rates as is a laundry service. Everything you need to reset after 3 nights out in the desert. Everything is kept clean. Shared bathroom is clean. Cabins small and no window unless you pay extra. Several flights of stairs to get to the property. These are minor complaints, overall an excellent hostel.
- Nacho (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julia (8/5): Very good - Cleanness. The cleaning girl was doing cleaning all the time! On the rooftop, no elevator.
- Giulio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sadiq (6/5): Pleasant - The hostel is located very close to the Petra archaeological site and a number of good restaurants. You can buy snacks, cold drinks etc in the hostel but are expensive than supermarkets. The hostel cabins look bigger in picture but are not as big. The hostel is on the 4th floor and there is no lift. The staff closed the hostel entrance at midnight. Breakfast is not good. The hostel doesnot provide drinking water.
- Giulia (9/5): Superb - Really near the main entrance of Petra- the rooms area are very quiet and clean. From the outside is not a well manteined building; but inside very nice :)
- Marc (8/5): Very good -
