If there was a hot tub it would have been hard to leave! ☺️ The staff were very accommodating and friendly and the breakfast surpassed expectations. • Brennan (9/5): Very comfortable with everything included however parking is not good if you are driving a vehicle to the property. - The suite was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was included in the kitchen to cook and coffee, tea, and breakfast was included every day. Good location walking distance to a variety of great restaurants and parks. The parking around the property was terrible. It took us a long time to find a place to park on the street and even then we had to walk about 15 minutes to get back to the building.

• Isabella Dawn (10/5): Casa do Contador February 2026 - Rooms were well appointed, large and tastefully decorated. Located on the edge of the city centre was perfect for us. The breakfast baskets were wonderful and a special feature of our stay. This is not a dislike for us but there is no elevator so not a positive for mobility challenged persons.

• Cameron (9/5): - Location was very convenient. We had a car and they had a small pamphlet to tell us where to park for free and where we would have to pay to park. They are flexible with leaving your bags at the lobby if you are arriving early or you check out and need to store your bags. Breakfast was delivered to our front door at 8am and had something a little different each day. They typically had multiple types of bread, a meat and cheese, yogurt, juice and milk. We loved our stay.

• Christina (9/5): Tolles Apartmenthotel - Das Hotel hat all unsere Erwartungen getroffen. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück kam ins Zimmer geliefert und die Zutaten waren frisch und vielseitig. Der einzige Punkt Abzug ist, dass es keinen Parkplatz beim Hotel gibt. Jedoch gibt es einige gratis Parkplätze innerhalb von 10 Gehminuten, wodurch dies auch kein großes Problem war.

• Uwe (5/5): Das Hotel war ganz ok. Potential nach oben ist immer vorhanden - Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, in 5 Minuten ist man im Zentrum von Ponta Delgada. Personal habe ich im Hotel nur 2x gesehen, und dies waren die Damen am Empfangstisch. Diese waren aber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ein Frühstücksraum gibt es nicht. Dafür bekommt man das Frühstück im Korb auf das Zimmer. Im Korb ist alles was man zu einem guten Frühstück benötigt und in einer sehr großzügigen Menge vorhanden. Leider gibt es in den Zimmern keine Heizung und es war doch etwas kühl Anfang Dezember. Der Pool war zwar offen aber leider nicht beheizt. Auf der Insel ist man ohne Mietwagen nicht mobil genug, das Hotel hat aber leider keine eigenen Parkplätze.

• Audrey (7/5): Joli endrot dommage que les d'autres invités soient parfois irrrespectueux - L'emplacement éatait vraiment parfait - tres proche du centre, sans en avoir les désagrément, tout se fait facilement à pied. Nous avons aussi apprécié le confort et la propreté du logement. Le petit déjeuner servi devant la chambre était très appréciable et bon. Le eprsonnel était trèes serviale et symathique. Le canapé lit était tâché, ceci a été rapporté à l'accueil ils nous ont indiqué que les tâches étaient propres, mais dûes à de la décoloration (?). Le logement a la clim et comme il faisait très humide, il était important de la faire tourner sinon il y avait de fortes odeurs de renfermé et d'humidité. La cuisine manque d'ustensiles basiques pour manger sur place. Enfin, le plus ennuyeux sont les invités qui font du bruits très fort très tard et personne pour surveiller en dehors des heures d'accueil.

O estúdio no qual ficámos era perfeito para as nossas necessidades. A porta do quarto deixava passar um pouco de luz do corredor, mas foi algo que no nosso caso não teve impacto na qualidade da estadia.

• Astrid (8/5): - Schönes Zimmer mit Sicht auf den Pool, schöner Frühstückskorb! 1. Übernachtung im grossen Zimmer kann ich empfehlen, aber die 2. Übernachtung dann im Studio… ist dann schon ein Unterschied. Nur ein Hinweis: Unser Zimmer war im 2. Stock und es hat nur Treppen (kein Lift).

• Arthur (6/5): Peut mieux faire - Localisation parfaite pour découvrir la ville Bon petit déjeuner même si le concept de panier a un peu ses limites et reste impersonnel Problème de vidange dans les toilettes de la SDB familiale Problème d’isolation sonore, on entend dans la chambre du haut tous les bruits de pas et sauts dans l’appartement du dessus (merci les enfants!!). Chambre non faite durant le séjour, nous n’avons vu qu’après la première nuit dans le document d’accueil qu’il fallait demander un passage… en fait la norme dans ce type d’hôtellerie c’est de passer sauf avis contraire exprimé par le client et non l’inverse… Il faudrait revoir votre façon de fonctionner. Pas suffisamment de papier toilette en chambre (nous étions 5!). Pas de parking privé dans une ville où le stationnement et la circulation ne sont pas faciles ce qui complique l’arrivée et le départ. Du coup, au vu de ces éléments, rapport qualité prix à discuter.

• Mimi (1/5): Schade... - Die Lage war gut Im Titel des gebuchten Zimmers war angegeben, "mit Patio-View" und in der Beschreibung "mit Poolblick". Leider war beides nicht der Fall. Wir hätten sonst ein kleineres, günstigeres Zimmer gebucht, doch haben uns wegen der Aussicht für ein größeres, teureres Zimmer entschieden. Vor Ort wurde uns dann gesagt, dass Patio-View nicht bedeutet, dass man eine schöne Aussicht hat. Nur leider hatte unser Zimmer überhaupt keine Aussicht: Die Fenster waren größtenteils zugeklebt, das Zimmer war düster und es gab überhaupt keine Aussicht - von einem Blick auf den Pool ganz zu Schweigen. Als Entschädigung wurden uns Eintrittskarten in einen Park und Likör angeboten. Diese haben wir nicht angenommen. Eine echte Entschädigung steht bis heute aus. Die Beschreibung des Zimmers wurde sogar im Nachhinein auf Booking.com geändert, was einer Einsicht gleich kommt. Zudem ist der Pool sehr viel kleiner, als die Fotos suggerieren. Wirklich schade. Wir schreiben sonst immer eher wohlwollende Bewertungen aber in diesem Falle fühlen wir uns leider übers Ohr gehauen, da auch die Fotos mehr als irreführend waren. Die Angelegenheit zu klären, war leider nicht möglich. Vielmehr mussten wir vor Ort anhand der Buchung den Fehler wiederholt beweisen und im Nachhinein sollten wir dann nochmal alles mit Screenshots beweisen. Das haben wir getan. Eine Reaktion erfolgte darauf allerdings nicht. Auch wurde uns vor Ort kein anderes Zimmer angeboten.

• Ben (10/5): The perfect stay - Everything was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable with everything you would need, even to cook a small meal. Breakfast was amazing - left outside your door each morning before 8am and was very generous. We used leftovers for lunch most days! Location was really good, only a short walk downhill to the main town. Parking was simple once you get to your bearings and used to the narrow streets! We had the best time - would reccomend!

Super kid(toddler) friendly. Parking situation. I may have over-read it with planning/booking but parking was street/lot parking. Most days it’s was close by and a very easy walk. A heads up or a map prior to arrival would’ve been nice. There was a map and pointers on the parking once we arrived.

• Martijn (6/5): - Mooi opgeknapte oude school, veel charme. Ruime kamers. Leuke binnenplaats met mini zwembad en ligbedjes. Goede ligging in het centrum, voldoende eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Het ontbijt was zeer teleurstellend, oud brood en fruit. Ook niet veel keuze. Kakkerlakken in de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes. Ook niet erg gastvrij, als je vraagt om een late check out wordt er direct gezegd dat je een volledige nacht moet bijboeken. Niet erg meedenkend en star in communicatie. Hierdoor was het veel te duur voor wat je kreeg. Het heeft zeker potentie maar de service moet omhoog of de prijs moet drastisch omlaag. Er zijn nu betere accommodaties voor leukere prijzen te boeken in Ponta Delgada.

• Robert (10/5): - Fantastic location, nearly in the city centre, close to the public free parking area. Helpful and very friendly staff, ready to advise when needed. Huge and delicious breakfast, being served at the room's door; inside small but very cosy garden with relaxing area and swimming pool - maybe not for real swimmers but good enough to relax after whole day activities. I truly recommend this place and hope will have a chance to come back again.
• Ingrid (8/5): - Behind a wooden gate one of the nicest hotels in Ponta Delgada is waiting. Premises were clean, communication with staff great, and the breakfast basket was an added plus.
• Nanna (7/5): - Sengene i soveværelset var gode. Søn morgenmad leveret ved døren kl. 8. Poolområdet er hyggeligt og indbyder til yoga og hygge om dagen. Sovesofaen i stuen knagede meget i jernet hver gang vi vendte os om natten og var lidt for smal til 2 personer. Der er ingen entre, så man går lige ind i stue/køkken, som ikke er særlig stort, særligt hvis nogle også skal sove i stuen. Vores lejlighed var derfor ikke egnet til 4 personer i flere dage, men vil være bedst til 2 personer.

• Sonia (8/5): - Cozy hotel. Our room smelled a little musty and walls were thin could hear everything upstairs even other guests were moving furniture early am and would wake us up. Breakfast basket was cute, but it was the same thing every day. Front desk was welcoming. On our last day there were 2 girls in the back yard courters taking bikini photos with a whole tripod setup, which made it awkward for myself and child to hang out back there.

• Samantha (8/5): A nice spot in PDL - The team at the hotel was extremely proactive in their communication (reaching out via WhatsApp 1 week before with entry codes) and very kind during the stay. They are only on aite from 9-5 so that is something people should be aware of. We stayed in the family unit with 2 bedrooms which is a semi-basement so it definitely had a smell of musk but extremely clean. The beds were comfortable. I wish the upstairs room had its own bathroom or even a sink/garbage pail but it was workable for sure. The pool area is very small but well maintained. My main recommendation would be to add a nespresso machine to the units because everyone going outside to the main machine is not very practical in the morning. Great location to walk around!
• Raquel (9/5): - El alojamiento es cómodo, espacioso bien situado y con encanto. Quizás un poco caro. Al menos en mi caso, si bien es temporada alta, y lo pagamos a un precio elevado. He visto que en otras fechas el precio es más acorde a lo que ofrece el sitio.

• Jo (8/5): Really convenient, well managed, comfortable room. - The convenience, the breakfast, the handy location. We were only there for one night and had to catch a plane early the next morning so the staff arranged for us to have our breakfast early which was really helpful. The beds were comfy and the place was really clean and well managed. We really liked the fact that it was in a beautiful old school building and the old pictures were great. Not much. The lining of the pool was torn and the pool Is very small but otherwise, lovely stay (albeit brief)!
• Steven (1/5): Buyer beware! This hotel doesn’t give a crap about you - Buyer beware! When I showed up the day before my 1-night booking they admitted that the room was available, but they refused to switch my booking to that day because of their “policy” even though it would have cost them absolutely nothing. Give your business to hospitality operators that actually care about their customers instead of tourist traps like this.

Location was great, close to everything. Their breakfast that they provided us was awesome. Everything was easy. I lost a personal item as well which they mailed to my house.

• Gonzalo (9/5): Superb - We stayed at this boutique hotel for two nights. It is a beautiful building with an outdoor area, and the staff is extremely friendly. Walking distance to many of the best restaurants in Ponta Delgada. Would highly recommend staying here.
• Anna (8/5): We had a nice stay. The unit was very spacious and the breakfast basket left outside our room was very nice unfortunatel - The lobby and the Layout of unit was nice. Couch was stained and cover was coming off the cushion. No coffee in the unit.
• JennyGOct29 (4/5): Staff great, hotel room a disapointment. - We are a family with older teens, so sleeping on a sofa bed is not an option. So, we chose the T2 apartment that has 2 total bedrooms. Because of this, the only option is a half basement room, that is very humid, and has little privacy if you want to let light in/have the curtains open. Other hotels guests can peer down and into the master bedroom and the living area. The pool area was peaceful, and we were grateful for that, but we were also grateful that we did not need to spend any amount of time AT the hotel. We were excited about the hotel as the pictures make it look like a dream, but the room was the worst out of the 6 places we stayed on our 14 day vacation in Portugal. The Staff was very friendly and not to blame for this. They were amazing, the breakfast baskets were excellent and their helpfulness was appreciated.
• Paolobezzina (9/5): Very recommended if you don't mind paying a little extra - The place is super nice and comfortable. Beautiful garden area. Free coffee and water station in the reception. Air-conditioned and well equipped rooms with comfortable mattress and pillows.
• Juraj (9/5): fair value for money option - Staff was very helpful and really tried to run the extra mile. Good location. garden was very calm and not occupied by guests. Staff provided great manual how to check in, must see, parking options, etc.... for short stays 3-4 night it is great option - some minor things needs renovation, but if you are not expecting 4/5 stars services, it is absolutely OK. - for the first time parking could be challenge, but we are able easily used to it
• Rebecca (10/5): Great property with ideal location! - This property is in an ideal location of Ponta Delgada. We really enjoyed the provided breakfast. It was easy for the scheduled guides to find when we scheduled our excursions. Many restaurants and stores are within walking distance.
