Guest Reviews
- Jorge (7/5): - Muy buena ubicacion, excelente calefaccion Habitacion pequeña, baño muy reducido e incomodo
- Beverly (10/5): We really appreciated getting to use the bedroom early…everyone so kind. Lovely place! - Coffee too weak, breakfast could do with more ‘natural’ yogurt (the whole place looked like a wonderful museum) eggs would have been nice for those gluten intolerant. Nothing! It was a superb place with excellent receptionists, clean rooms and amazing art! We loved it and will be back!
- Julie (3/5): Disappointing to say the least. - We arrived on a cool fall evening in March, but the room was unbearably hot - no fan, the window didn't open. It was advertised on Booking.com as being able to accommodate 4 people (2 adults) - it is just two of us yet we could not even put both of our bags down on the floor it was so small. Our plan was to stay 4 nights but we just couldn't stay there. We lost $560 to Hotel Aquaterra in the process. We found a lovely place just two blocks away which was perfect for our stay. We made the right decision but we lost a lot of money. We travel a ton internationally and have never had to leave a hotel but in the case, it was absolutely necessary.
- Maria Luisa (2/5): Muy mediocre - Nada Mal recibimiento
- Robert (7/5): Hotel staff are freindly. Rooms are tiney and bathrooms are at best a closet. - Good location Tiny rooms and bathroom.
- Steve (9/5): Great stay in Puerto Natales - Interesting and authentic decor. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good and overall it was very relaxing. Rooms were good but not that sound proofed.
- Innchan (9/5): staff are very friendly, kind and eager to help. - room is small but calean and balanced nothing
- Thiago (4/5): -
- Tijn (8/5): -
- Ninharris (10/5): - Staff were kind and helpful from outset - giving directions to nearby amenities and helped book us a taxi for the next day. Room was decent size with comfy beds and good shower. Loved the decorations around the hotel and room. Breakfast had nice fresh fruit and baked goods which was just what we needed.
Many thanks!
- Mindi (1/5): - Room was small, dirty and noisy. My knees hit the heating element when I sat on the toilet. The floor had some kind of grease on it.
- Emmanuel (7/5): -
- Jennifer (9/5): -
- renato (8/5): - Stairs Breakfast
- Slater (9/5): - Convenient location, good value for money, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast included was excellent No comments here
- blythe (5/5): - Location good. Breakfast small. Beds fine and airflow in room fine with window open. Shower was dangerous. Too small a tub and getting in and out difficult and slippery even for the most athletic person.
- Sarah (9/5): - It was so close to the center of town and they watched our luggage while we were out hiking and on a day trip at the end of our stay! Our room was hot even with the window open
- Bhavya (8/5): -
- Roger (10/5): - Very friendly, comfortable rooms and a great location in the center of town.
- Maciej (10/5): Great place to stay in Puerto Natales - Loved the beds and a warm room. The breakfast was pretty nice too with quite a lot of options and could be prepared earlier if needed. We also got them to order us a taxi to the airport that came so quickly, we didn't even realise it was already waiting outside. The location is very good too, close to everything wish we could stay there for the whole time we were in Puerto Natalie's
- Salvatore (10/5): -
- KEITH (7/5): -
- KEITH (7/5): - A good start to our trek
- Colin (8/5): Really happy with stay as staff were so accommodating and comfy beds. - The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. The beds were really comfortable and clean. A good water dispenser wasn’t available
- Sara (8/5): - The location, the staff, the decoration was great The only things I did not like were that 1) my bed had wheels on it, so whenever I leaned to the wall, the bed would move and 2) that you could here the other rooms, when they arrived at night, when they were preparing to leave in the morning and things like that.
- Jennifer (10/5): Great location, clean, comfy, small quaint hotel next to local museum. - Very clean, comfy bed, quaint, nice staff and great location. And great breakfast! Overall, great experience! And it is next to the local museum! Bonus! A little expensive for what you receive. The walls are thin, however I put some white noise on my phone and I was fine! Also, tub a little challenging to get in and out of.
- Hao (10/5): Great value and location, helpful staff - Mostly everything. Great value and location. Helpful staff. Only if there is a chair for the desk (I know right?) for the room haha.
- Eric (8/5): Wonderful - would recommend to anyone doing the Torres del Paine trek - Property was very clean and welcoming. The location was very central and was close to many restaurants and shops. The main areas of the hotel were very well maintained and decorated. The staff was extremely helpful and went out of its way to work around our schedules. We stayed at the hotel at the beginning and end of a W trek through Torres del Paine and they were very accommodating (free luggage storage, flexible times, great breakfast). The room was small but clean. Rooms were small and a little spartan, but overall perfect for a night before and after trekking.
- P (9/5): - Clean and good breakfast. Noisy. Bring earplugs.
- Minor Chaves (10/5): Excelente.

- Lorena (10/5): Great stay. Room was big enough for three people. Bathroom clean and well equipped. Wonderful staff - Love the building. Very clean. Beds were comfortable and clean. NA
- Mehri (10/5): - The staff were super helpful, polite, and accommodating. The breakfast was good. The location was very good, near restaurants and shops. You can hear people passing by your room. Dogs barking.
- Cath (9/5): Friendly little hotel. - Friendly staff, great location. Comfy bed and great shower. Near centre of town. Nothing

- Bridget (3/5): Not a great start to my trip - Easily walkable to lots of shops and restaurants. Clean, basic room. I had booked here to bookend a 5 day trek in Torres del Paine (well in advance) and my bookings had been confirmed, however, when I arrived after checking in and paying for my first reservation I was told the hotel was closed the following week and I would not be able to stay there or store my luggage when I left for my trek early the next morning. Additionally, I was told that they would not cancel the booking for me- I had to cancel and request a refund. This made the beginning of my trip very stressful and it seems they could have easily communicated this in advance.
- Wagner Aparecido (10/5): Muito bom - Excelente hotel.
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast and decor
- Pascal (5/5): Too expensive for its value. - The decoration was nice. The breakfast was great. The personal was very helpful to solve a problem The room was small and gives to the street. Too expensive for its value.
- Melita (10/5): Exceptional - Close to everything in town. Spacious clean room A,little bit loud when people walk down the corridor and talk…
- Kate (10/5): Great hotel in a convenient location. - We loved everything about this hotel! Nothing could have been better.
- Samuel (6/5): Pleasant - Friendly staff. It was a little loud being so close to the street.
- Teresa (8/5): Easy stay in Puerto Natales - Service was excellent. We were able to store bags while hiking the W trek, they packed a breakfast “to go”. However, rooms were small. There was a common sitting room that was nice. Cab fare to the bus depot was 2,000 pesos or about $2 USD.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - I loved my stay here! The room was great, the breakfast had a nice variety of food, the location was close to anything you could want or need, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for treating me like family!
- Greg (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mitzi (7/5): Good - Well located and good value Room and bathroom were a bit too small for comfort
- Danstr72 (9/5): Superb -
- Anita (10/5): - Nice small hotel, nothing fancy but comfortable. Walk to everything. Close to restaurants.
- 1959 (9/5): A warm oasis in the center of Puerto Natales - This is a welcoming, thoughtfully furnished small hotel with gracious staff. There are nice sitting/social areas on both floors. The breakfast included a good variety of food including fresh fruit (kiwi!) My room was next to the wood stairs, and I heard other guests coming & going. Also, the shower area is quirky, featuring a mini-tub.
- Kate (10/5): We had a great stay at Hotel Aquaterra. Highly recommend. - Beautiful hotel in a great location. Staff was nice too! Nothing could have been better
- Jamie (10/5): - My wife and I chose to stay at Aquaterra twice because we liked the reviews and the costs. We are glad we did. The location is great, the staff is wonderful, and the breakfast was a solid start to the day.
The check in process was easy and the bed was super comfy. The restroom was nice for two people and there was a nice sitting area outside the rooms. The staff was very resourceful and very helpful with all our needs. We would recommend staying at the Aquaterra if you are ever in Puerto Natales. Great stay, great memories.
- Danstr72 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siu (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (9/5): Good value and proportional comfort for a 3 stars - Good value and proportional comfort for a 3 stars. They let us leave our luggage there while we did the 4-days long W trek in Torres del Paine, which added to the convenience. Small bathrooms
- Deanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sibylla (8/5): - Like the convenient location to good restaurants eg Bote we appreciated to be able to have earlier breakfast bc of early tours if you have a car either you park on street or there is one parking spot in rear of hotel difficult to park but gets secured by gate Very nice room to relax bc rooms are rather small bathroom needs update and no more plastic shower curtain please think of our environment
- Manon (8/5): Very friendly and accommodating staff - My mother and I only stayed one night but we enjoyed it. Every staff member was so friendly and eager to make our stay comfortable. We had to check out before breakfast hours since we had a bus to take and they prepared an early breakfast for us. The room was quite small but it was just fine for a night.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - They have the most polite staff ever; we loved it!
- Can (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Brigitte (6/5): Nicht wieder.
- Jingyu (5/5): Passable - The early breakfast prepared before 6 am to allow us going for the tour on time The bathroom door in our room makes loud noise and it might have woken up the whole building anytime we go to toilet at night.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Acquaterra is a gem - Lovely one-night stay at Aquaterra. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful, the room was cute and cozy, and the included breakfast was quite nice.
- Emi (9/5): Superb -
- Emi (8/5): Very good -
- Brittany (10/5): Wonderful staff and stay - The staff we worked with were both amazing! Our check in was easy and smooth. The rooms were clean and just as described. When we had to leave early in the morning, they put out breakfast an hour early to fit our schedule which was totally unexpected and very kind. They also stored our luggage while we hiked in Torres del Paine. Great place and lovely people.
- Fiona (8/5): Very good - Excellent breakfast, wide choice of lovely food.
- Jess (8/5): Very good -
- Gleicon (10/5): Muito bom!
- Zuly (6/5): Nice but poor quality internet and no TV - It was okay, but for the price I expected better. The staff was friendly, the room was fine, the breakfast was good and served at variable times depending on what you had planned for the day The internet was poor quality and there was no TV in the room or common areas.
- Kelly (10/5): I would 100% recommend this hotel. - This was a such pleasant surprise after coming from Puerto Arenas.
Perfect location, close to everything,
the staff was amazing even packed a lunch for my 5am day trips puma trekking...full of recommendations for great food, massage and mailed my postcards for me.
Top notch service!
- Virginia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karyn (9/5): Pleasant stay - Great location and friendly staff. Breakfast was nice too. The room was small but comfortable. Only downside was it was difficult to find street parking nearby.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. The location was great. Even with the radiators turned off the room was quite hot. The bathroom was very tight. But in general everything was very good and I'm just nitpicking.
- Virrginia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dusty (10/5): Great stay! - Fantastic experience. Wonderful staff, nice rooms and great location. Excellent breakfast included. Quiet at night.
- Juan (6/5): Well located but lack of communication from part of the staff - It’s well located near restaurants and the touristic attractions Elizabeth was disappointing because we tried to schedule our trekking tour to Torres del Paine but she gave us the wrong information, she said the trekking poles weren’t included but they were, we had to overpay to rent the trekking poles. Also, she said my 1 year old daughter didn’t have to pay but at last minute we had to pay. There was lack of communication from their part. On the other hand, the overnight front desk guy was amazing
- Rebekah (10/5): Perfect location for adventure and fun in Patagonia - Clean, downtown. Close to the pier. Fabulous staff. They were kind to the street dogs. Extremely accommodating. Good breakfast. N/A
