Richard was an amazing host and was very informative about the local area and gave us fantastic advice regarding our walk to Swallow Falls which was simply stunning.

- Anlé (8/5): Quiant little stay close the center of Betws - A comfortable little spot very close to the center of Betws. Our host made the MOST delicious breakfast! Our room, though not huge, was very comfortable with a lovely big bed and a jet bath for a little extra relaxation.
- Leanne (10/5): Excellent great location full of history . Richard was a great host sorry didn’t meet Tanya . - Its character the location it was extremely clean could not fault it I think there should be a light that comes on to brighten up path to car park
- Douglas (9/5): New Year's Celebrations - Excellent location and very welcoming friendly host who went above and beyond with xmas decorations in the room and also provided us with dressing gowns and complimentary prosecco and chocolate. When we told him which walk we were going on over the lovely breakfast he provided for us, he excused himself for a moment and came back with written instructions for the walk we were going on, which was a nice touch. The room was a little chilly in the morning. Wifi didn't work for a few hours one day, although not really the hosts fault who checked and assured me everything should be fine with it, so just a blip.Bedside lamps, not really bright enough to read a book in bed at night comfortably.
- Samantha (8/5): - Excellent location, quiet. Richard is a lovely host and very helpful. The chocolate and Prosecco were a thankful gift on New Year’s Eve too!
- Joshua (8/5): -

- Juliana (7/5): Weekend away - The peaceful environment feeling that could get right next to the town. There's a new bridge under construction and works start early in the morning, weekends included.
- Rosemary (7/5): Quite expensive but I guess you pay for location. - Great location. Room large and airy. Breakfast was quite rigid and wouldn’t suit everyone’s palate.
- Giovanni (9/5): Quiet, comfortable and pleasant stay. Happy to be locked up :) - We were welcomed warmly and offered an upgrade to room with 'spa' bath. Room layout and decor (and facilities) were rather good. Quiet room and place, good parking facilities and great breakfast. wi-fi was a bit temperamental (couldn't connect easily - needed some manual intervention to fix connectivity).
there was a gentle buzzing noise in the bathroom, though neglect able especially when door was shut.
We had the impression that we were bothering the hosts when at about 9:10 we went downstairs and rung the bell to ask for milk for the tea/coffee in the room (could just be our perception at the time, so not a big issue)
- P (8/5): Je wordt hier prima verzorgd -

- kels (10/5): The best place to visit - We love the The Courthouse. Richard and Tanya provide exceptional service. The Courthouse is immaculate and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable with everything you need. And then there’s the 10/10 breakfast. Everything is fresh and cooked individually to your taste. Honestly it’s the best place to stay and we can’t wait for our next trip. Thank you for sharing your home with us x Absolutely nothing to everything was 10/10.

Location is great as just a few minutes walk to pubs, restaurants, beautiful walks/hikes etc. Hosts were impeccable, super friendly with a great attention to detail. This felt superior to your average B&B stay. The Courthouse theme adds interest but even without that this is a quality B&B. Lovely clean room
Breakfast exceptional

Highly recommend X
- Sunny (7/5): Good - The room setup was good and we appreciated the tea/coffee options available. A spacious area with a mix of old and new features (ceiling beams mixed with a modern flatscreen TV) Whilst the attraction is meant as a old historic house, the creakiness of doors, furniture and flooring frightened my wife a little! There was also a distinct smell although this could be due to the age of the furniture. It is obviously a very traditional setup in that each guests get a set of housekeys to enter the front door, but there was an occasion where the porch door was locked from the inside which meant we were waiting to get back to our room till the hotel owner came out. There were also a period in the daytime where we rang the reception bell for help and no-one was around.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Attention to detail, immaculate room and superb breakfast!! Leaving the hotel
- Brian (10/5): Well run - Lawyers Room Nil
- Paul (9/5): Great base for a car free holiday. - Great location - Ideal for local walks, bus and train services and eating and drinking.
Lovely choice of breakfasts. Nothing
- Ray (9/5): Great location and breakfast - Great location and host - fantastic breakfast Not a major problem but a mini fridge in bedroom would have put the cherry on the cake.
- David (9/5): Most convenient situation in a delightful setting, making it very pleasurable and comfortable. - Superb room and facilities. Very friendly welcome and attention to our requirements. Good choices for breakfast and excellent quality and presentation! Pleased to use garden table and chairs for our evening snack in a delightful setting. Cannot think of anything!
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Excellent break in Snowden area, with great access to restaurants, walks and tourist attractions. - Very central location with off street parking, which is rare in Betws-y-Coed. Breakfast was exceptional with great selection and prepared fresh. N/A
- Claire (9/5): We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. - Quaint and interesting building, in a convenient position. Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. Very friendly and helpful host. Room a little bit small, and sloping ceilings not ideal for tall people! (Fingerprints room)
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Craig (9/5): Relaxing. - Breakfast superb, location very good, quiet but close to the centre.garden and wildlife great. Room slightly on small side.probably a little overpriced.
- Louise (10/5): A hidden gem - Such super friendly hosts, nothing was too much to ask! Very knowledgeable about the local area/local walks, a brilliant breakfast each day too!
We loved sitting in the garden by the river of an evening - the perfect way to relax after a day of walks.
A peaceful nights sleep every night of our stay in a very comfy bed.
Would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Betws - thank you Richard and Tanya! Nothing we can think of!
- Catherine (10/5): What a gem of a place - Fabulous location, fabulous hosts. Gorgeous room (lawyers room) and amazing breakfast. Every detail thought of
- Olga (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dibs(dave) (10/5): A gem of a find. - The Courthouse was an exceptional B&B in our opinion. Its location was superb but very peaceful with the river on one side. The hosts were brilliant & the breakfast choice was great. The full breakfast & the vegetarian breakfast was one of best we've had anywhere. Nothing it was just great.
- Julie (8/5): J&K - The breakfast was very good, Richard was very attentive. This quirky B&B could have a lot more to offer. Stayed for 5 days, no daily room /bed service or fresh towels available.
No communal lounge area.
- Julie (8/5): B&C - Richard was a very good host at breakfast. Food cooked fresh and was delicious There is no living room space to sit with friends. No daily room service, fresh towels, or replenished tea and coffee facilities
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sylvia (7/5): Very good, nice to sit in garden as well as our room. - Excellent breakfast. Excellent location. Bedroom mattress and pillows a little too firm for us. Maybe ok for others, therefore this may be an unfair statement.
- Nadia (10/5): Gorgeous. - Absolutely gorgeous place. Location was perfect and our room had lovely views of the river. We stayed in the Lawyer’s room, which was large, really comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was amazing. Richard was an excellent host and gave us lots of tips for short and longer local walks. Definitely recommend.
