Hotel had some maintenance issues but the staff was quick to address them. We paid for a premium king room but, due to HVAC issues, was moved to a king room with inferior amenities.

My chicken/bacon quesadilla had no bacon and no guacamole. Meatballs were mediocre and garlic bread was just toasted white bread. The lady serving everyone never smiled once and food took forever. We will definitely stay again at this nice hotel, but will venture out for all meals.

• freddyej (6/5): Outside Noise Ruins My Stay - Marriott Courtyard is a decent hotel. It sits on the square in the town’s center. The staff was friendly and helpful, and tried hard to please. I stayed there to attend a conference. The room was fairly clean. Housekeeping forgot to clean the tub. The light fixture between the beds had layers of dust and had not seen attention in a while. The refrigerator did not get cool much less cold. I requested housekeeping clean the tub and dust the light fixture and both looked like new when cleaned. Forgot to tell them about the frig. The big problem was the noise that came from outside the hotel. I realize this was out of their control (to an extent). I was on the first floor and the hotel sits very close to the street. The street noise was constant, from racing engines to boom boom music. The final straw for me was an outdoor concert on the square which was very close to the hotel. The noise was unbearable. I did not wish to attend the concert while in my room. I wanted to rest. I gave up, packed my things, and checked out. The concert was from 4:00pm-10:00pm. For me, that was a deal breaker. I don’t think I’ll be back. Wish I had chosen a hotel away from the town center.

We also appreciated that parking was free. We had breakfast in the Bistro the next morning and it was delicious. There are many restaurants within walking distance and it is the perfect location for attending events at Sweetland Amphitheatre. We will DEFINITELY stay here again.

• adamfouche (10/5): Nice Lagrange Hotel - The hotel was clean and comfortable. It felt safe. There was a little craziness in the adjacent parking deck late at night. However, the parking was very convenient and easy (and free). The hotel is close to everything in Lagrange. The best part was that the room AC got it very cold!!

The kids would have enjoyed a pool, but this property only has a splash pad. It was very clean, great downstairs bar are, staff were very polite & friendly. We would def stay here again!

The staff service was wonderful and the manager immediately took accountability for the challenges I had in my first visit. I asked for a feather free room I asked for a room close to the elevator I got one as far as possible! Checking out service was horrible No smile Most expensive hotel in La Grange should be ashamed giving this type of service I’m rebooked 2 more nights due to mom in hospital. Hope service improves

• Stdennis (7/5): Good - I chose this hotel because when I did a search for pet friendly hotels on Booking.com this hotel showed up. We drove 8 hours to get there only to find that they did not accept pets. The manager was accommodating because nothing was available in the area and charged us an extra $250 pet cleaning fee. We had no other choice than to accept the hotel fee and pet fee add-on. No complimentary breakfast. Everything there was al la carte. Eggs were $14! See above
