- Janette (9/5): Great overnight stay - Close to the train station. Walking distance. Very comfortable bed and loved the fresh water provided. I also loved the sweet treats to go with a cup of tea ☺️ Having to ring to get checked in.
- ELENA (9/5): -
- Minttu (9/5): Very nice and clean room, super comfy bed, staff were very helpful and location was perfect. - The room exceeded my expectations, it was spotless, good sized, the bed was very comfortable. N/A
- Lora (10/5): Excellent reception, location, wish we had stayed longer - Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Location just a 2 minute walk from train station, Stirling Castle and in the heart of Old Town! We hated to leave!!
- john (7/5): -
- Linda (10/5): - Staff was very accommodating room was clean. Location was great.
- Tone (8/5): - Sentralt, pent og rent rom Labyrint
- Vic (8/5): We enjoyed being close to town and having a great car park - The proximity to town and the castle We couldn't get in the front door using the code and the tv didn't work.
- Jennifer (9/5): Great location, convenient and friendly. - Great location, clean and friendly. One room had some staining on the curtains. Also the beds are quite low to the ground which can be tricky for some.
- Cree (4/5): Nice enough room but not as advertised, service not available - Location Not as advertised, down stairs bar has been closed for sometime with piles of cigarettes outside, had to wait in street for 5 to 10 minutes after phone call , television not working and told no replacement as maintenance comes day after, no change of room as I was informed it was full although I went on website and they were still advertising rooms
- Sharon (7/5): -
- Sewing (8/5): Convenient, easy to access - Convenient location
Parking close
Friendly staff Small bathroom
No elevator
- Alison (6/5): - Location Needed renovating
- Graham (8/5): - Location
- Helen (10/5): Nice clean quiet stay - The property was central and close proximity to the venue I was visiting Nothing
- Stephen (8/5): All in all. Served its purpose. - Nice clean place in the centre with parking at the rear. Close to everything. Our only concern was the place looked like it was shut most of the time. We didn’t see the bar open once so we grabbed food and drink elsewhere. And I think they possibly missed out on a lot of passing trade, especially in the Saturday.
- Murray (7/5): Very enjoyable - No breakfast Was on the top landing woukd book no stairs nxt time .a bit scruffy looking entrance
- Mr sharkey (10/5): - Perfect location. Stayed multiple times. No breakfast.
- OTONIEL (9/5): - Muy bonita y espaciosa, en pleno centro
- Charles (7/5): Nice hotel in a very central location. - Good central location, room was quite nice, No breakfast facilities, staff only turn up at 3 pm so building in lockdown until they arrive, so don’t try and check in early. Car park at rear only has a maximum of 2 hours stay and is chargeable until 5:30 pm so meant I had to wait until 3:30 pm on the Saturday afternoon before I could pay for parking and it’s free on a Sunday, you would think the hotel would have an agreement with Stirling council to stay in car park for longer ?
- Julia (8/5): - Super zentrale Lage, unkomplizierter Check-In. Klein, aber funktional, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
- Anamaria (10/5): - Private, very cozy
- Stephen73 (5/5): - The room was very shabby, large marks on the walls and stains on the carpet. Water staining on walls in the bathroom and black mould around the bath.
Even though the room was clean, the decor made me feel otherwise.
WiFi password did not work. As above
- Darena (10/5): Wonderful! would come back - Amazing place! Very grateful for the girl who came to give my friend a spare key at 8am on Saturday cause he locked them in his room!

- Terry (7/5): Really handy and easy to get to. Will stay again. - Stayed in it before. When breakfast was available Didn’t dislike anything as it was a place to get the head down and travel around.
Waardeloos.
- margaret (10/5): - We had a lovely stay again this hotel accommodation was perfect as I have a broken shoulder much appreciated
- Laura (8/5): -
- Mikhail (9/5): -
- Susan (7/5): Good location, clean but personal safety issues as property has no staff on duty after a certain time. - Good size room, clean, good location Shower produced only cold water after two minutes. Had to come out and wash at sink.
Felt quite unsafe as no staff on duty after a certain time.
Had to put bag at curtains to keep them from flapping open, as bright street lights outside.
- Greig (8/5): -
- Mark (9/5): -
- Matt (10/5): -
- Charlotte (6/5): Functional for a short visit. But, wasn’t very cozy. - The place was fine, just not a hugely inviting space - whole property feels a bit empty, windows look out on a parking lot, old carpeting.. I think a few thoughtful touches could make it feel cozier - maybe a guidebook for the guests, with some nice suggestions for around town, and some more breakfast choices for guests. Odd entrance to the apartment, parking was listed as included but was actually a public lot requiring payment, no WiFi password was given. Bathroom floor needs replacing, and shower “wall” swings out and water gets on floor easily

- silvana (10/5): Stirling 2026 - Very centrally located. The girl who gave us the key was very nice and showed us how to use the front door and back door with codes. Parking behind the hotel is very convenient None
- Norma (10/5): -
- Clayton (10/5): Great value in a perfect location - Location was amazing Nothing to not like great value for money
- Thomas (9/5): -
- Andy (7/5): Great location but accommodation had the air of somewhere about to close. - Great location. Friendly reception. Comfortable bed, great shower but towel rail didn’t work. Very tired. Shower needed resiliconing as it was black. First room we were offered smelt strongly of cigarettes but we were immediately offered another room which was fresher. Restaurant was shut permanently and the bar had run down the stock to the point when there was nothing we wanted to drink.
- Philip (8/5): -
- Gary (8/5): -
- Duncan (6/5): - Fire place bed comfy Uth milk ness cafe coffee shower screen wrong way round.
- Grace (9/5): -
- Jim (10/5): - Great staff Great location
- Reece (10/5): -
- Peter (6/5): - Location Rooms overpriced for nightly stay
- Selina (7/5): Nice comfortable stay but shame it doesn't open until 2pm - Great location, comfy room, modern bathroom, bar downstairs, room decorated nicely, tunnocks treats Not quite a hotel a described on bookings.com. we turned up at 11am, freezing cold hoping to either check in early or have somewhere to leave our bags. The place is locked up and looks derelict with a phone number to ring. Rang it and said it doesn't open until 2pm. We went and sat in the wetherspoons.
- Billy (8/5): - There was no breakfast available at all.
- Grant (8/5): Great Location - Great location and room was clean
- Suzanne (10/5): Very good value for money - Great location. Great shower. Good bed. Met most of my needs. Stairs
- Kristen (7/5): -
- Gordon (1/5): - Everything apart from the bathroom the taps were broken and shower didn't work properly Shower Didn't work
Niks
- Laura (8/5): - Excellent location, spacious apartment, would stay there again
- Amine (5/5): - The young lady working there was very kind and hospitable. There is no staff. Only from 14:00 till 18:00.
There is a number that you could outside these hours but I called 3 times and I called the number on their website but no answer.
The room was incredibly cold. The heater on its highest was still not remotely warm.
The carpet on the floor was full of stains!!
- Louise (1/5): Disappointing - Location The premises was run down. We couldn’t use the shower as the door was too tight.
- Simon (5/5): Unfortunately we won’t be back - Good location, decent sized rooms No elevator, no food facilities, change of ownership seems to have run the place down since we last stayed there in 2019
- Stephanie (1/5): Absolutely terrible - This was the worst ‘hotel’ I’ve ever stayed in. Not only was the room dirty but the toilet in the bathroom flooded due to improper drain connection. You could hear the road and the other guests through paper thin walls- it was the most uncomfortable stay- we spent as little time as possible in the room and left at dawn. The hotel, if you can even call it that, did not have the ‘bar/restaurant’ open for guests and there was no staff after 5pm. I would never stay here and will never recommend this place.
- Richard (2/5): - Nothing.
I was only guest staying here. No staff based on site or after 6pm, so it was just me and the bed bugs. Room not clean. Carpet stained, bed stained, bathroom looked very tired and dated.
Door to outside street didn't feel very secure.
Very disappointing accommodation, and if I'd have read further feedback from other review sites, I wouldn't have stayed.
Arguably one of the worst places I've stayed.
- Sue (9/5): Lovely room for an overnight stay in a central location for town - Great location in the middle of town. Comfortable affordable rooms
- Alan (5/5): Could be a lot better with some staff interest and involvement. - Room was ok and relatively modern.
Good location. Nice & thoughtful snacks in room, No bag drop off until 3pm so you have to pay the nearby convenience store to take your bag if you arrive earlier to explore the town, even though there is a code entry but is not provided until after 3pm?
Carpets are dirty as well as damaged on the stairs and there is plenty of them! Shower was mouldy.
- Helen (6/5): More like a hostel - Good location clean, comfortable Windows in room and bathroom wide open in late December, presumably to get rid of smell of a joint, strong smell in room and corridors. Room was therefore cold.
- Annelie (7/5): -
- Stephen (9/5): -
- Kim (10/5): -
- Audrey (4/5): We would not stay here again, - We have stayed here before and the breakfast was excellent. It was disappointing that do not offer any breakfast now. Its location is good for shopping, restaurants and bars. No breakfast facility
- Steve (10/5): Great weekend and great stay would stay again - Location was superb Bar not used downstairs
- Viola (7/5): -
- Kyle (6/5): -
- Francesco (7/5): -
- Susan (9/5): Lovely stay at Friar’s Wynd - Location was excellent, room was clean with tea, coffee, biscuits, iron & board & hairdryer. Beds were comfortable, room was lovely & warm. Had everything we needed here. N/A
- Sophie (9/5): - Chambre agréable propre et calme
- Kirstie (5/5): Cosy stay, but disappointed with rundown state of building - Cosy room, comfy & clean bed, welcoming staff, central location, good selection of teas/coffees/Tunnocks treats in room Dirty/stained carpet, marks on wall, mould in corners, TV doesn’t work properly, staff only on site for a few hours, no longer a restaurant or bar downstairs so benefit of discount didn’t apply, guttering needs cleaning which resulting in being woken with pounding rain on windowsill area. Website/Facebook page has to be updated to honestly describe/state what is currently on offer which feels more like a hostel than a hotel. Very unloved & rundown building, needs a lot of investment to improve.
- Kjellevold (8/5): -
- Sandrine (6/5): - In city centre Not very comfortable
- Jack (7/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): - Place is bang in middle of town. Apartment was excellent. Rooms are a great size. Shower was hot n powerful. Beds mega comfy. Everything you need for a short stay
- Richard (10/5): - Clean comfortable and convenient. Just the job many thanks. All fine
- Sonja (10/5): -
- Heiko (6/5): -
