Camera e bagno ampi Bellissimo hotel (per chi piace lo stile), da rinnovare le camere non tanto il mobilio che è in linea con lo stile dell'hotel, ma da rinfrescare le pareti e cambiare materassi. Lenzuola ed asciugamani sempre cambiati e puliti, personale addetto alle pulizie molto disponibile e sempre attivo, ciò Nonostante le camere hanno bisogno di un rinnovo

Michael (9/5): Hotel Savona did not disappoint - The room was comfortable and well appointed. The location was very convenient for local facilities and for travelling outside the immediate area. All of the staff were very helpful and efficient. The meals were plentiful and delicious. There was only a one hour slot allowed for dinner. The hot water pressure was very weak.
Barbara (9/5): Bellissimo hotel con potenzialità da valorizzare - L'albergo,in posizione davvero perfetta sia per il corso che per la funicolare ed il parco delle terme, è molto, molto signorile: la hall e la sala da pranzo hanno arredamenti e soffitti eleganti e ricercati, con lampadari bellissimi e dettagli raffinati. Il personale è gentilissimo ed attento ad ogni esigenza. Cibo buonissimo a cena, con menù a scelta, che ci è piaciuto davvero tanto. Colazione ricca ed abbondante, con servizio impeccabile. Purtroppo la bellezza della struttura, della hall e dei saloni non corrisponde alla bellezza del bagno della camera, purtroppo trasandato e bisognoso di ristrutturazione. Per un albergo così bello e con quelle potenzialità è un vero peccato. Camera spaziosa e letto comodi. Pulizia, però , non proprio impeccabile , polvere sui mobili che ho tolto io. La TV non funzionava bene.

Sightsee32118415609 (6/5): Clean, simple hotel. - This hotel was very clean but not suited to a single lady traveller as mostly men there for work. Breakfast was from 730 to 830 and same for dinner, quite rushed when you're on holiday so best to get room only as lovely places to eat. Well located in a quiet road but near everything. The staff were lovely and friendly but not much English spoken. Montecatini is the most beautiful place I've ever been to with trains going to Pisa, Viareggio, Luca and Florence and well worth a visit. The Tettuccio Spa was amazing and I went to two operas and a dance show in a week so a very cultural place.

The room design was solid However, it had a very uncomfortable bed, and i woke up bitten all over on one side (not sure exactly from what, but i dont think i got it outside). Also, at the continental breakfast a man scolded me for sitting at a random table the first morning instead of my assigned table, but when I sat at my assigned seat the next morning I got scolded for not sitting at the long table with a large crowd of other guests, so I was crowded in with others. Overall not the best experience

Erin (10/5): One-night family stop, could have stayed longer! - Great stay for an excellent price and wonderful breakfast the next morning. Good views from our rooftop balcony made for a great evening and morning sit. The air-con works well, and I really enjoyed the unique shower arrangement (you have to unfold the shower enclosure from the wall) which gives you a spacious bathroom when you don't need the shower. The front desk and staff are very accommodating, and did their best with my inability to speak Italian! There is a nice children's park next door with rides and play areas for the small ones, a true family stop. Beautiful backroad drives from both Pisa and Volterra made this a great resting point between the two.

Excursion433365 (6/5): Average but clean hotel with friendly and helpfull staff - Had a room on 4th floor and until midnight there was a lot of noise from Heating/Cooling device placed on rooftop. A bad smell from the drain in the bathroom the first days. The staff was very helpfull and friendly and a OK breakfast buffet in the morning. An average hotel for a absolut fair price

litjensrongen (8/5): summer holiday in Tuscany from Montecacini Terme - we booked room in hotel Salos, but at arrival we were told that we had to stay in hotel Savona, next door. There we met the very kind receptionist Adina, who helped us out so much. Everything we asked for she arranged. After 3 nights we could stay at the other hotel just in front of the swimming pool. We had a great time thanks to Adina. Hotels are a bit old, but very clean
zea77p (4/5): Ok, but.... - Hotel is on good location, near city center. The rooms are small,but clean.Bed is good. The negative side : poor shower with bad drain, if you take a proper shower you will get big flood.They have linen towel, my advice- take yours. Food was very poor, and there wasn't enough for all guests. Some stuff, especially some older gentlemen. He was so rood and yelling on some guests, and he was always by your side in dining room, watching closely how much food do you take,witch was very unpleasant.
JimD471 (6/5): Older hotel with character - We were with a tour of school kids from the US. The hotel was clean and had character. Rooms were typical for this kid of European hotel; small. The bed was comfortable. The shower was located in the middle of the bathroom with a curtain that you pulled around you. Therefore everything in the bathroom got wet when you took a shower.
Daca27 (8/5): Leave your key at reception OR get locked out at night !! - I was originally booked to stay in a twin room with a travelling business colleague, at the Hotel Byron just round the corner. However, they were over-booked and arranged a room in another hotel a few paces away. This room was too small, so I ended up allocated a room in the Hotel Savona. My room was one normally reserved for tour guides, I believe. Room 405 had a double bed, air conditioning, a small fridge and an adequate bathroom with shower and bidet. It also had access to a roof terrace with deckchairs for sunbathing. Given other rooms that I saw in other hotels, I would say this was quite adequate. Definitely 3 star, but no better. Only problem I experienced was returning late one night (2am), I found myself locked out of the hotel ! No one had informed me that common practice on going out for the day was to leave your room key at reception. This way, at night, if room keys were still at reception, the night porter knows you are still out and keeps the hotel open. I had taken my key out with me, it wasn't at reception and the night porter thought I was in the hotel - so he locked up...!!! My advice - if you intend staying out late - let reception know in advance AND leave your key at reception when you leave the hotel for the day ;-) Otherwise good and service was good. Can't comment on the food as I ate at the hotel round the corner where I was originally booked.
