- Neil (9/5): Good location for the beach, restaurants, and Chania itself, with very friendly staff & a nice pool - I thought that the location was very good for the beaches and for access into Chania. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were a decent size. The pool was never overcrowded and it was a pleasant way to chill out. I would have liked a microwave in the kitchenette. In terms of the bedroom I would have liked a double bed (or just a double mattress) rather than two singles put together. It often felt that we were drifting apart during the night!
- Zbigniew Roznowicz (9/5): - Struttura accogliente e curata a circa un chilometro dalle spiagge più vicine. Ambiente esterno, piscine , bar e piccole zone verdi molto piacevoli. Siamo stati 3 notti in monolocale superior , bello , molto ampio e soprattutto nuovo. Doccia grande con ottima pressione dell’acqua. Come visibile dalle foto, il lavabo del bagno è posizionato in stanza da letto ma é comodo e bello. Volendo si può cucinare, gli strumenti base ci sono. Noi non abbiamo usufruito del servizio colazione ma utilizzato il microonde per riscaldare il latte al mattino per mini colazione. Supermercati molto vicini dove abbiamo anche parcheggiato l’auto. Al di là del fatto che sicuramente tornerei in questo hotel, segnalo che l’area parcheggio non è curata e si trova su terreno molto polveroso. Asciugamani vecchi e ingrigiti e mancava l’accappatoio che sarebbe stato comodo per spostarsi nell’area piscine. II terrazzino , nel nostro caso, era frontale ad altri quindi nessuna riservatezza. Non é importante ma siamo rimasti molto perplessi perché un giorno non é stato rifatto il letto in camera ma solo cambiato gli asciugamani e svuotati i cestini. Si sono dimenticati o era voluto ?

- Sandra (8/5): Family Holiday to Chania - Staff friendly, apartments clean and spacious, pool good size. Choice of many restaurants nearby and 20 mi ute bus ride into Chania old town which is worth a visit. On a busy main road surrounded by car dealerships. Pool open from 10.00 to 18.00, I like an early morning swim but this not possible. Very busy and noisy on a couple of days. Beaches 10 minute walk and sandy but charge 25 euros for 2 sunbeds and umbrella!

- Sarah (9/5): Superb - This was our 2nd visit to Lotus Hotel. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. We didn't like the usual sun lounger issues, but this didn't affect our whole stay, but it was frustrating when people reserved loungers and then disappeared all day! The hotel were understanding when we flagged the problem but its hard to manage.

- Graham (8/5): Lovely hotel apartments with great pool - perfect base for a week exploring North West Crete. - Breakfast was well stocked with a lot of choice. I brought my own oat milk as a vegan and still plenty of fruit, cereal and bread for me to choose from. Location great for bus into Chania with plenty of restaurants within a short walk and a 10 minute stroll to several beaches. Grounds and gardens well tended, beautiful trees and flowers. Apartment had a great shower, good air con, comfortable beds, plenty of storage and everything you need. Pools lovely and clean. Reception staff helpful and friendly The Lotus hotel is directly on a busy main road, but after a few days we got used to it and you couldn’t hear it from the pool area. No garden view from our initial room - just an eyesore of a half finished concrete building from our balcony. However, the staff kindly moved us to a much better room with a lovely outlook for the rest of our holiday - this made all the difference to us. A bottle of water in the fridge on arrival, would have been a nice touch after a long journey.

- Ingibjörg (9/5): Great stay, clean rooms and amazing staff! - The staff was amazing, they did everything to make our stay as good as possible! The hotel is next to a bus station where you can go downtown Chania in 15 minutes, but it only takes 5-7 minutes in a taxi. The hotel is next to a supermarket and the restaurants that are close are good. There are 3 swimming pools and the swimming pool area is really nice. Everything is really clean :) Since its a small hotel the breakfast was usually the same, not that much options. But still not bad breakfast! Would be nice to have more or different options though :)
- Viviane (10/5): Very confortable - It's a very good place to stay, very comfortable. The bedroom is very spacious, as in the picture, comfortable beds, and a small kitchen to prepare breakfast. In the balcony there is a place to dry the clothes. A big swimming pool. Very close to a big supermarket. Only 12 minutes by car from the old port. There is a place where you can park the car. The only attention is for the mosquitoes, we left the windows opened suddenly there were a lot of them biting us.

- Ruth (9/5): Excellent hotel for couples of families close to the sea and all amenities. - Very clean and well furnished. Close enough to the beach to walk but also well located for sightseeing to other points of interest. It was nice to have small kitchenette facilities in the room as well. No parking available on site. The breakfast was very similar every day. It would have been nice to have a different variety of hot cooked food and proper sausages every day rather than frankfurters most days. The spreads (Honey, Nutella, Jams) were also served in huge bowls that were brought out day after day making us feel it would be difficult to keep as fresh.
- Hilde (10/5): Exceptional - The facilities were truly beautiful, fresh, well kept, quiet and spotlessly clean, but still felt warm and welcoming when travelling with two young kids and one older. The surroundings are green and lush. Three delicate pools gave plenty of space for guests wanting a dip. In the main yard one of them was a small, shallow childrens pool, and a bigger one gradually getting deeper, thus also suitable for children. Even on hot days there was a nice breeze through the area(and superefficient aircon in the room). Delicious breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. A ten minutes walk towards the coast were three beautiful beaches. Several restaurants and shops in the area plus bigger supermarked. Bus to Chania/Agia Marina stops just a few metres from the hotel. Lotus is a true gem. The pictures online are not accurate- the place is even better! Just go there!🌺😊

- Gita (8/5): Pay attention to your personal data to not be leaked - Rooms were clean and employees were friendly Upon arrival very kind receptionist gave me sheet to fill in. However opposite side of paper sheet had multiple visitors full names, DOB, age and phone number and grouped by families that staying together. This was HUGE breach of GDPR. I am hoping that this will not happen to my data.

- Michael (9/5): Superb - Staff were very helpful and accommodating. They went the extra mile to help us with sorting transfers and making our stay relaxed and enjoyable. They also let us use the pool after we had checked out, before our flight home. Breakfast could have been better.

The hotel staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is situated on a busy road with some well known car dealerships next door and across the road. So not the most idyllic setting. Although you don’t see this when you are sitting around the pool or from your room.

The shallow end of the main pool was very rough on the tiles which made my sons foot sore. A small number of extra parasols would be beneficial. There are enough loungers, just not the shades.

- Hema (6/5): So much potential - Great location Great front desk staff Cleaning staff amazing Lovely spacious apartment - mum and I had a duplex appt. 2 bathrooms great Comfy bed Close to shops. Restaurants. Several beaches Great access by 2 buses to old town Poor content in appt Expected to wash up but no scourer/liquid... Not worth getting for 4 nights! No toiletries except bar of soap. Was told shampoo etc available.... Nothing but soap bar Not possible to cook as no basics like oil, salt and pepper Not even basic like tea/coffee making bits. No pool towels Musty smell in kitchen drawers/cupboards No mirrors except in bathroom. Hard to get ready if other person in bathroom and then mirror just steamy. I think with tiny little extras to make the stay easier, this place has so much potential. Lovely place otherwise but made the stay with my very fussy eating mum tough. She was hoping to be able to prep some meals in appt and we couldn't really do this. She is a strict vegetarian and was forced to eat at places she ideally wouldn't like to!
- Claire (10/5): Staff efficient and friendly. Room spacious, clean and very comfortable - Angela and Deppi on reception were lovely and very knowledgeable about the area. Angela was ready to greet us out of the taxi and the reception team were always on hand to answer our questions. The property was on a busier road than expected but once we got our bearings we realised it was just a few minutes walk to all amenities including the beach and central Chania was just a short bus / taxi ride away.
- Tupla (9/5): Superb - We had recently renovated one bed apartment with balcony and pool view. Apartment was good size for two adults. Kitchen was good enough equit even no owen or washing machine which we did know wasnt included. Cleaning daily which you can opt out. Very nice staff which did great care of the place. Location is great, short walk to three beaches if you dont want to use hotel pool and good restaurants and shops very near by. Bus stop to Chania cross the road Pool bar was open short time but not a real problem for us and perhaps reason for was because time was off season.

- Yuan (10/5): Would stay here again! - Super friendly staff at the reception desk, both of the ladies gave us very useful information about Crete, we booked some tours and they turn out to be the highlight of this trip! Room is new and clean, big balcony. The is a bus station right across the hotel and is convenient to go to the old town of Chania. No a lot of choices of restaurants nearby. No shampoo or shower gel provided, only a soap.

- Nigel (10/5): Excellent location. - location in relation to good restaurants and good beaches. Cleanliness of property, towels changed every couple of days and beds changed numerous times during our stay. the kitchen facilities and equipment were not adequate to prepare even a basic meal. Very limited utensils, no scissors, sharp knife or spoons etc. The pool opening hours were limited.

Slight problem with our freezer and could do with air con in the bedroom, or at very least fans as very hot and hard to sleep, air can is in living area only so had to keep door open all night, to keep it bearable. luckily we had fans with us, which helped too.

Flats are very modern, very clean, cleaning service every day, the pool is very well kept as well and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The location, for our needs and expectations, was perfect. Not in Chania city center (which we didn’t want for peace and quiet) but only a 10 minutes bus ride to the city, with loads of buses and the bus stop is literally just across the road from the hotel for only 1,10€ which came in so so handy ! I would also like to add that they are plenty of shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, coffee shops, restaurants etc and everything you could need within 3 min from the hotel by foot and that is a massive plus, really really convenient. And the beach is only a 7 minutes walk through lovely paths from the hotel. Really appreciable to have everything so close. We didn’t have to give up on one amenity in order to get the other. I would 100% recommend this apartment hotel complex. Honestly everything was great. We have been welcomed in other properties with for example a sponge and washing up liquid as well as a bottle of drinkable water which we thought would also be a nice welcoming touch in Lotus, (instead of having to buy these on arrival) however these are tiny little details and don’t really matter much. The place, as well as our stay, were perfect!

- Nikolay (10/5): Nice hotel with good value for money - Good value for money. Friendly stuff! There are 2 pools (we never used them, but they are available). Room was clean and bed is comfortable. If you decide to stay longer and sometimes cook yourself kitchen is good addition. Bus stop (number 21) is next to the hotel entrance. 10 minutes walking distance to closest beach, which is not much, but sidewalk is poor quality

- BRIAN (8/5): Great find! Great holiday! - Lotus apartments didn't disappoint! Although on a busy road, our room overlooked the pool at the back & was very quiet. The Reception staff were very pleasant, spoke good English & so helpful. The rooms are clean, basic but adequate; we didn't use the cooking facilities (small electric free standing) as it suited us to eat out each night. Fine for breakfast in the room - warm croissants from Lidl! The apartments are well located - two well stocked supermarkets close by (one a Lidl), three good beaches just a 10 minute walk,on a bus route into Hania (choice of two buses, 1Euro20 each way) & a great choice of restaurants all within walking distance. Wouldn't hesitate to come back!

- Vickie (10/5): Ideal location. - Great location. Ten minutes easy walk to beaches. Two minutes to Lidl. Bus stop outside hotel to Chania very frequent buses. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Apartment very clean and well equipped. Lovely pool. Staff very friendly and helpful.
