- Valerie (10/5): Everything we could ask for! - Everything! The location is great, so easy to get everywhere. The decor is so fun and classy! The rooms were a great size perfect for a girls trip! We will be back. Nothing
- Flynn (10/5): Loved every minute. - We loved mostly everything about this hotel. Staff was very friendly...rooms were clean. The room size was small and there was not a lot of space for three people to put their stuff. Also, the noise at night was a bit much.
- prescott (9/5): -
- Arrin (10/5): -
- Wyatt (8/5): Very quite rooms. Comfortable beds. Rain Shower head only in bath was annoying as only option. - Room 314 they 1st gave me. Looked out over AC units and a gravel roof. Wall and headboard kept shaking periodically & learned a laundry chute was behind our room wall. Got moved to another room.
- Lucy (10/5): -
- Brenda (7/5): - I liked it overall but parking was too much. It was 75 for one day It was fine
- Melissa (10/5): Perfect! - Staff is excellent! Atmosphere
- Carys (10/5): Clean, comfortable, convenient and great value! - Upon walking in, you’re greeted by a warm welcome from staff. The decor and lighting in the hallway were beautiful and truly showing the character or the building. Location is great (5 minute walk to broadway). The bed and pillows are super comfy and clean, and the bathrooms are big. The live entertainment at the bar was also great to sit and have a drink. Throughly enjoyed my stay!
- NANCY (9/5): - Location & cleanliness
- Ronald (7/5): - Location was great! The room was clean, but small. The staff was helpful. The lobby was beautiful. They quoted us $67 per night for valet parking, which was more expensive than properties surrounding it and the final bill came out to $76 per night.

- Shannon (7/5): Great location for hanging out on Broadway or going to Country Music Hall of fame or NMAMM or Broadway. The room was ext - The property was so much more charming than a normal chain hotel. It was located just far enough from Broadway that the noise level was not bad overnight, but close enough to easily walk into the middle of everything in three or four minutes. The room was very comfortable and clean. Our fellow guests were very nice and the hotel itself was very quiet.
I do have to report that on our last night, we witnessed a shooting from our 9th floor window. It happened maybe a 100 or 200 feet from the front door of the hotel at 2:45 in the morning. At no time did we feel unsafe in Nashville or at the hotel. Apparently a fight broke out at a club nearby and it spilled into the street and there was a large volley of shots. Any big city can be dangerous at 2:45 am especially when it stays up late partying the way Nashville does. There is a big police presence on Broadway but it seemed to thin out after 2 and in the direction of the hotel. According to news reports of the incident, the club where it happened has experienced trouble before. It is not on Broadway and we did not have to walk by it on the way back to the hotel. Anyway, I wrestled with whether to include this in my review because it is not the hotel’s fault. It is not reflected in my ratings of the hotel. I mention it here simply to share that if you are out late in Nashville (which we absolutely recommend), consider imposing a 2 am curfew on yourself, stick to Broadway and walk back to Holston House on Broadway (it’s super close). Nothing. The hotel was great.

- Courtney (1/5): Horrible customer service. Issues with charges and their system going down. So many better hotels to stay at in Nashvill - Located in the heart of Nashville, convenient location. Some of the staff were incredibly rude and there were issues with charges to my credit card. For the cost of the hotel, there are so many better options to stay at Nashville. I would never stay here again.
- Angela (9/5): - This place is beautiful; it's like going back in time, yet the rooms are modern industrial. They have a slice of heaven on the roof top pool. Close to Broadway without the noise or smells. The restaurant had a great breakfast and the bar was comfortable with excellent live music (thanks Ashton Butler!) I wish it was slightly cheaper, but I want that for anything I buy. Other than that, everything else was on point.

- L6790SOdeniser (8/5): Great location - The Holston House is in the perfect location to everything fun. Not too close but in walking distance to downtown. The lobby is old time style and everyone is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and well kept. You have to visit the roof top pool and bar for the view.

- T5712DApatg (10/5): Really Enjoyable - Really enjoyed our hotel. Location was excellent and was close to main Broad way strip. We could walk everywhere.
Room was lovely and comfortable and bathroom was excellent. The onle negative was that wardrobe set up was not great if you were staying a number of nights.
Breakfast every morning was excellent and Pool area on 12 th floor was fabouous. Staff were very approachable and helpful.
we would hope to return here again in the near future as we really enoyed hoted and Nashville itself>

- MandTHughes (10/5): Very nice hotel - Very nice hotel that is ideally located. Rooms were a good size. Hotel is very clean. Our initial room on the ground floor was a bit noisy due to air conditioning units outside the window. We asked to switch rooms and the staff obliged. A free cocktail is served daily. Bar area is very nice. There is a small roof top pool which is very nice. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
- Lina (8/5): -
- Mobile11649034795 (8/5): Very nice historical hotel in the heart of downtown. Great day - Nice day at a boutique hotel that is well maintained, that’s very comfortable, staff pleasant, the bar area is very nice with singers performing regularly, in the center of everything!
- Dunno1966 (10/5): Highly recommended central hotel - Location is perfect for all the sights and within walking distance. The hotel is stunning with a unique decor that is a welcome break from mass hotel brands. Fab roof top bar and pool and extremely welcoming and helpful staff
- Pam (5/5): Breakfast wasn’t worth the extra fee. And there was no place at all to store your clothes. No dressers. No drawers. Hote - Very close to everything No dressers to store clothes and items. No place to put suitcases. Breakfast wasn’t very good.

- Karl (7/5): - The room wasn't serviced on one of the days. Now, I was in the room, but I was out of the hotel between 9am and 4pm, so I would assumed it be serviced during that time.
- juliecM615OY (6/5): Nice Hotel - In for business at the hotel. Nice hotel, rooms. However, they decided to have their sidewalks power washed at night. Right under my window. Well, several windows. When you aren’t here to party, being up half the night isn’t what you need. I was offered ear plugs after the front desk chuckled about the issue.
- E1465NOrobertc (10/5): Top Notch Hotel and Location in Nashville - You will not be disappointed with the Holston House in Nashville. The staff and service is outstanding, the rooftop pool is great for relaxing on a warm day, and the bed and room overall was comfortable. The location is ideal...close enough to the music at the bars and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum yet far enough not to feel overwhelmed by the crowds.
- Tracy (10/5): Great staff from check in, to the bar/restaraunt, to the Valets! Kind, helpful and perfect! Made it an amazing famil - This was a personal and emotional family trip for us and the hotel staff were amazing! They left a supportive card in both our rooms, the valets were great! So helpful and kind. The cleaning staff fast and efficient! Close to all the action! Could not have chosen a better hotel! They way surpassed my expectations! Not a big fan of the pillows but everything else was perfect!
- kimhW8184TJ (8/5): Perfect location in Nashville - Perfect location in downtown Nashville, close to Broadway, Ryman, Bridgestone, ans Assembly Food Hall. Easy valet parking made check-in a breeze.
- Sheehan (4/5): - Very noisy while trying to sleep.
- Kim (8/5): Ideal location - Attentive and polite staff, from the valet to the front desk. Every employee we encountered was a delight. The perfect place to stay if you're catching an event at The Ryman or Bridgestone Arena. Walking distance to Broadway, the museums, restaurants, etc. The rooftop was a bit worn and dated, the furniture cushions and pillows were faded/dirty and/or stained. There was a mandatory daily resort fee, but nothing felt like a resort. Cocktail hour was crowded, nothing worth the fees we paid.
There should be complimentary shower caps in the bathrooms because the only shower is a rain shower head.
- Got2TasteAndSee (10/5): Chillaxing at the Holston House - The experience was lovely from the start! Jonah (valet) was quick to get my door, and carried our bags right up to the front desk. We were greeted by a huge smile, and a gift bag with garlic cheese popcorn and local GooGoo Clusters. All checked, we enjoyed the lobby reception with a free Jack Daniels drink from a cute little fountain. I sit here in my room, sitting on a very chic loveseat listening to my in room record player, with albums I picked out downstairs in the lobby. Such a lovely experience!!
- M3355VVjenniferf (4/5): Fun getaway in Nashville! - Room was basic but well appointed. Beds are comfy and rooms are quiet. The bar has a nice atmosphere. Pool area is small but nice with plenty of shade if you need that. The pool bar is only open seasonally so it was closed during our stay. However, you could order poolside service on your phone which was good. Check out the free tickets for local attractions. The location is amazing!!
- McClure (10/5): - Loved how nice, clean, and close it was to broadway.
- tomfJ1817QD (10/5): Great Place to stay! Highly Recommended! - The room was very clean. The location was within walking distance to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean with great water pressure. I give this place a thumbs up!
- Senta (9/5): Had a great time in Nashville - Great friendly staff and good location. Close to everything but in whiter area. Huge bathroom The parking. It is by a third party and a total rip off and they don’t easily show daily rate . Hotel a little pricey with the fees
- Mstarr1671 (10/5): Great stay, easy access to all that you need! - Excellent location, convenient to food and entertainment. The staff were cordial, kind, and professional. The rooms are small but have everything you need. Would recommend and stay again!

- Lullah44 (10/5): We loved the Holston House - An absolutely fantastic 5 night stay at Holston House. The location is perfect, very close to the bars, stadium etc., but just off Broadway so away from the hustle and bustle too. From the UK and stayed at The Graduate last time, which is no comparison to Holston House. The Graduate was nice but, Holston House has larger rooms, friendlier staff, is closer to Broadway, has the wonderful TENN restaurant for the best breakfasts in Nashville, and a beautiful bar too ! Special thanks to the lovely Ben in the bar that served us, he was brilliant. There was a very talented singer/songwriter on the Saturday night, Charles Walker, just amazing. What an added bonus this was. It was such a lovely relaxing space, and great food served there too. What an amazing stay, thank you all so much for making our trip so special. We cannot wait to come back very soon….

- easymoney2016 (10/5): The best place to stay in downtown Nashville!! - Great location, ambiance fantastic, rooms clean, spacious, everything you could ask for in a hotel. Staff super friendly, helpful, breakfast was delightful, didn’t want to leave .
- Melanie (10/5): Great location that’s a nice contrast to Broadway. - Highly recommend. Great atmosphere, cocktail and vinyl hour in the afternoon, steps from Broadway but quiet. Good breakfast with excellent coffee, served until late. Nothing

- Shaun (7/5): We loved the happy hour drinks - It’s a pretty cool renovated Building Nashville is just so expensive for accommodation.
- John (10/5): Perfect first visit - Perfect location Liked it all
- Ryan (10/5): -
- Lisa (9/5): Fantastic hotel, staff that go above and beyond and I would definitely stay again if ever I revisit Nashville - Fantastic location, close to Broadway, feels like being transported back in time as you enter the doors with the elegant decor. Staff so friendly, great bar with live music, good restaurant with excellent breakfasts and a complimentary cocktail every afternoon in the lobby. The pool on the rooftop is a welcome added bonus! The only negative was that there were 3 of us and deliberately selected larger queen room as it said there was a seating area but there wasn’t. However a lovely member of staff brought us extra chairs so we had somewhere to sit.
- Kellie (10/5): - Good location, within a short walk to main strip
Beds were clean and comfortable
Bathroom was clean
- Departure04736184561 (10/5): Great stay in a perfect location - Holston House is a lovely, well-appointed hotel in a perfect location relative to Nashville’s entertainment and dining. I would happily stay again.
- ROBYN (10/5): Perfect - Location is perfect. Rooftop pool wonderful view of downtown. Great food at TENN on property! Staff friendly and helpful. Overall the best place I’ve stayed in Nashville and will definitely return and recommend.
- Roving42712998906 (10/5): We’ll Be Back! - As someone who has spent her entire career traveling the U.S., I definitely have strong opinions about what is good and not good about hotels. The quickest way to my heart - good sheet and towel quality. My husband I spent two nights here on a quick trip to Nashville and the sheets were among the most luxe I’ve ever experienced! Two wonderful nights of sleep courtesy of the comfy bed! Big walk-in shower was also a bonus. I will definitely stay here on future trips to Nashville. The service in the bar was also very friendly and efficient. Great hotel!
- BrendaC48 (10/5): What a hidden gem! - Beautiful hotel so close to Broadway without the noise and congestion around some of the chain hotels located in close proximity.
Everything was so tastefully done! Lobby and bar area are beautiful! Room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We did not have a chance to eat at the hotel but people were giving it rave reviews.
We have family in Nashville and visit frequently; this is going to be our new go-to hotel
- Charles (8/5): Good stay . Enjoyed the facility. - Parking was slow and cumbersome to deal with.
- P6911HGmelinag (10/5): Definitely worth the price, great location, staff, and rooms! - Was there for a concert at Bridgestone, and since I was traveling alone, location was my top priority. The hotel is about a block away, which made it easy to get there and back. The rooms were spotless, yet cozy at the same time. I was really happy with my experience and will definitely stay again in the future!
- 60mickm (10/5): A Fantastic Hotel (big thanks go to Adam, Alexis & Breck) - My wife Tracey and I (Mick) travelling from the U.K. stayed at The Holston House Hotel for a 5 night stay but we wish it could have been longer. It is a 4 Star hotel with a 5 Star service, it’s that good ! The rooms are of good size and spotlessly clean. All the staff make you feel welcome and cannot do enough for you.
Staff members Adam, Alexis and Breck went above & beyond in helping us navigate Nashville City. We are so grateful to them.
The bar area has good food and had a gluten free vegetarian option for Tracey, plus a great supply of varied drinks. There is usually a guest singer on the premises. A big shout out has to go to our bar server Ashley who made us feel very welcome with her professional and friendly manner.
As mentioned my wife has to follow a gluten free vegetarian diet which, to be honest, is sometimes very difficult for her. But the breakfast restaurant staff made sure this would not be an issue, and supplied Tracey with very tasty and delicious meals.
The hotel’s location is excellent. It is a 5 minute walk to the Ryman Auditorium, and a 10 minute walk to the City’s fantastic downtown bar area.
If you are visiting Nashville there is no better hotel to stay at. We would give this revue 6 stars if we could have !
- Paige (7/5): - The location is great! The fridge in the room didn’t work and there was only one overhead light and it was off to the side so it wasn’t very bright.
- Amber (6/5): We will be back. Just not going to use valet parking anymore. - The property was beautiful. The valet parking was horrible. Not worth it. We will just park across the street next time.
- Tim (9/5): A delightful, cosy, high-class stay, within a short stroll of Broadway - - Gorgeous historic building, sensitively updated, very chic
- The breakfasts were excellent, with a wide choice of dishes, generous portions and perfectly cooked
- The reception, restaurant, housekeeping, bar and door staff were all excellent
- My room was lovely: large, quiet, well laid-out, with a gorgeous shower and a huge and very comfortable bed
- The location was perfect, with all the fun of Broadway just a gentle stroll away
- Complementary hot chocolate and cocktails in the lobby was a very nice touch
- The weather while I was in town was historically cold, but the hotel remained warm, cosy and welcoming throughout I'm struggling to think of anything. The only possible negative was that the bar area was a bit small and lacking in atmosphere. However, with myriad bars within a short walk this is not a major issue!

- Cornelia (8/5): Genial - Die nähe zum Broadway Zimmer wahr wunderschön Es gab nichts zu bemängeln
- Caroline Shovelin (10/5): Excellent location - The location was excellent so close to Broadway and quiet at same time
Comfy and very clean room Nothing
- Mollie (9/5): Clean hotel in a great location. - Great location and very clean. Included breakfast and room service made meals easy. Room service could be open later and have more basic options for breakfast like side of fruit or banana.
- Mitchell (10/5): Had a great stay and would recommend this hotel. - Very clean, good size, excellent location. Needed an extra chair in the room and didn't realize all fees were not included in reservation cost.
