- McLellan (1/5): Beware of this HI XpressMusic in Summerville, SC - I didn't wait. The Holiday Inn charged my debit card an extra $50 for incidentals on March 6 and assured me that it would be returned to my bank in 7 to 10 days; 2weeks later, no return. The manager said she was searching but my name was misspelled, but she found it, and I would receive it in 24 to 48 hours. I did not. A week later I was told that it was lost in the Opera system but found; once again I was assured that I would receive it in 24 to 48 hours. I did not receive it. I called a third time, and she hung up on me. Then I contacted the corporate level, and they said that the hotel is responsible for returning it to me. Booking.com has warned me that suspicious activity has happened on my account.

All the staff and hotel over all was great! - When I first got to the hotel by the looks of the parking lot and surrounding area, I was really skeptical about how it would be and look on the inside. Definitely don’t judge a book by its surrounding covers. The hotel is very nice inside! Room was easy to keep cool and very clean. All the Staff were always very friendly, respectful, polite and helpful! My towels were replaced daily and trash taken out and room serviced. The breakfast was awesome! There was something for us all! My kids loved the pancake maker and the food taste great!! I didn’t like the parking. You just have to get there earlier than others to be able to get a good spot. It seemed like a lot of work trucks were taking up spots. I also didn’t like being locked out of my room for over 30 minutes. The key wouldn’t work when I returned from getting ice but front desk clerk was quick to jump in and help me. There just needs to be a better system for when the keypad dies and needs to be charged. A system could have been used to see how low the battery was or something to prevent it dying on me and locking me out. But that wouldn’t stop me from returning.

- Chris (9/5): - We were impressed with the room and the cleanliness and the staff was very friendly nice amenities The refrigerator had no freezer or way of keeping my ice pack Frozen overnight I have bad back problems and I have to have an ice pack in the mornings also we were not impressed with the breakfast the quality of the meat was horrible and there was no gravy for the biscuits

- Barbara (4/5): - My reservation was not honored. They stated I should have checked with them, as reservations were not available as booked. They had to change my room 5 times. First, no hot water, second placed me on the first floor, then second floor with a tub not shower, next in a handicap room and finally in a queen size room, not the king I reserved, but with a shower. Very disappointed.

- Richard (8/5): Some exceeds expectations, some not - The staff were great. When we got to our room, we found that the TV couldn't connect to DTV and the phone was dead. The clerk moved to another room (a few doors down the hall) and the situation resolved quickly. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was OK. The juice and coffee had little taste. The sausage gravy and biscuits were good. The turkey sausage, well, it was turkey sausage. My wife said the scrambled eggs had no taste. I had hard boiled eggs and they were good. However, I was disturbed by the guys in the lobby. One was a middle-aged man sleeping (guest?) and the other a teenager lying sideways on the sofa with his feet on the upholstery (gross to me). All-in-all and okay stay.
- Eric (10/5): Comfortable stay and A+ staff. - The breakfast was the best I had in a long time. Shower had good water pressure and HOT water. Staff was A + Food Lion was next door. Pizza Hut was across the street. Elevator seem to need a tune up. Slow and bell sounds like the speaker is blown.

- Lisa (8/5): Overall a good experience - Friendly staff, clean rooms and great location There was a lot of individuals from various companies staying there that had oversized work trucks that took up 5-7 parking spaces which left the rest of us with little to no room to park. There could be a designated area at the shopping center right next door for these vehicles. Also, only 4 handicap parking spaces, more is needed and these could be located on the left side of the main entrance.

- Jacqueline (10/5): A good location - This was a one night stay on our way to Cypress Gardens and then Charleston. Room was quiet, except for the loud air conditioning unit which we had to turn off. Room was clean and fairly spacious, breakfast was ok.

- MaryAnne (9/5): Fabulous! - The hotel was great! comfortable beds, ample sized room and bathroom, fresh towels and linens, great coffee bar! breakfast was good. But mostly I want to give a shout out to the staff, especially Shantera. When she saw that my two boys (young men) were disappointed that they didn't have a roll away bed and would have to share a queen bed, she offered us an upgrade to a suit with a pull out couch. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. she deserves a raise!

- Hector (10/5): - The hotel looked nice and very clean, I was most excited for breakfast to be honest, most hotel’s breakfast aren’t great but that’s where we can get our money’s worth. And I was shocked by the abundance of breakfast items to choose from. Had breakfast every morning I was there!

When we asked for a manager we could not see them until after 10 a.m. and we could not wait. The lady at the desk took all of the info and looked at the bites and noted them. She promised the manager would call me and they did not. The person in charge of cleaning happened to be there to witness everything also. She left in a hurry once she saw all of my bites. She told the other lady she would be back but I never saw her again. I want a refund for all of the problems this has caused.
- Stephanie (6/5): Clean but a lot of issues ending with no sleep - The room was clean and the hotel itself a very clean environment. The shower door in our bathroom was difficult to open. The walls are apparently very thin as we could hear our neighbors conversations clearly at midnight. Our air conditioner was also struggling to work and made loud noises all night. Would not stay here again.
