• Elizabeth (8/5): We had a lovely time, and the apartment was well appointed, centrally located and met all our needs. - it was difficult to communicate and get the code to unlock, simply because we were traveling and our phones were low on power and we did not have good connection to the internet. It was a little iffy for a bit, until our daughter arrived to help us and we could use her phone. Once we learned the system it was fine, but we were concerned about the possibility of running out of power on our phones and then not being able to get into the building.
• Koen (9/5): Voortreffelijk - De locatie omdat je pal in het centrum ligt. Het huis is goed uitgerust met een heel grote frigo, een goed uitgeruste keuken en badkamer. Spijtig is dat er geen SMART TV is.
• IOANNIS (10/5): - Ολα ηταν εξαιρετικά ακριβώς όπως τις φωτογραφίες. Το σπιτι πεντακάθαρο και η τοποθεσία τέλεια. Με παίδεψε λίγο οτι το κρεβάτι ηταν στη σοφίτα που ειναι κάπως χαμηλή αλλα αυτο το ήξερα απο την αρχή απο τις φωτογραφίες. Δεν ηταν έκπληξη για εμενα

La parte superior en donde está la recámara es muy incómoda, especialmente la cama, es ideal para personas jóvenes ya que tiene el techo unas vigas que hay que agacharse mucho, para salir de la cama, tenes que pasar encima de tu compañero de cama sino no lo logras!

• Arkadiusz (8/5): - Nice place to stay, everything close, restaurants, shops, town , gran via plaza mayor. The location is very good. Only one thing when you are a tall person like me you have to be careful when you go upstairs. I can't remember how many times I have banded my head of the platform, and when you go to the bed of them bars. That's it.
• Arijan (9/5): Nice little apartment - The apartment was located perfectly in the city centre close to anything of importance in Madrid. Its a small and cozy apartment with good heating, TV and privacy with the bedroom being upstairs. Locating the apartment is a bit of a challenge since its not marked visibly anywhere so we had to walk around the streets which is not very convenient when travelling with a 2 year old. It would also be nice when someone is there arriving late at night especially for a short stay to have a complimentary tea or coffee pods and some sugar and salt, basic stuff for any kitchen. I dont use this brand of coffee machines so I bought the incorrect pods twice.

• Mier Perez (8/5): - Proximité du centre ville, la tranquillité de l'appartement. L'accès au lit est un peu difficile en mezzanine, mais le lit est confortable. La télévision ne fonctionne pas bien. Pour le reste très bien.

• Manuela (8/5): - The location is good, we walked almost everywhere! The size of the apartment, the kitchen appliances, it has a washer and dryer. You have a Carrefour Express on the corner for any emergencies. It has an elevator as well. There was nothing in the advertisement about security deposit of 200 euro I had to pay. The heating system didn't work when we arrived and we wasted precious hours of our vacation time trying to fix the problem. The bedroom upstairs was uncomfortable to get in and out, especially for an older couple. Access to the apartment is via an app, which was not particularly user friendly. The cell phone signal outside the house is very weak, so getting inside can sometimes be a real adventure.

• Eric (8/5): Great location, well equipped but has sleeping facility issues. - Location is excellent.available kitchen supplies. It was clean.good sized refrigerator. Furniture good quality. Stores for food and supplies are within one block. The beef is on an upper floor wit a very low ceiling that does not permit standing up. And one has to crawl over beams to access the bed. Also the bathroom is on first level. The stairway lacks handrails. This makes the apartment a challenge for those with any mobility issues.
• Mariam (8/5): Great location! - The location is good, we walked almost everywhere! The bathroom drain was clogged and it caused water going in slowly, which was not pleasant. The apartment is very small and there is really no place to keep your suitcases. The bedroom is not very comfortable, mind your head. The most annoying thing was the door system, you had to use app to open the main and apt entrance. it had bugs and sometimes we had to stand at the entrance for minutes to make it work. Also make sure you have internet, else, you won’t be able to open the door. The rest was fine

• Marcela (8/5): Very good - The location, the size of the apartment, the kitchen appliances, it has a washer and dryer and not so many apartments have that in Madrid. You have a Carrefour Express on the corner for any emergencies. It has an elevator as well. Its a walking distance to Plaza Sol, to Plaza Mayor, to El Botin (oldest restaurant in the world according to Guinness World Records). The bed: hit my head with a beam while trying to get off the bed. The bed is located in a built-in mezzanine, and the space between the sloping ceiling and the bed is limited. Two people can sleep there, but the person against the wall is restricted because they can't easily get out. You literally have to jump your partner in order to get off the bed. The linens looked old and two blue pillows that looked dirty. The shower: The shower water wasn't draining easily and the shower was filling up with water. Noisy: It's not 100% soundproof. One night, there was a lot of noise and we couldn't sleep.

Good communication with proprietors The app process to access the property was a problem for us. Our Mobile reception was poor by the property and we couldn’t load the app reliably to open the front door - rather stressful if going out in the evening! When we contacted the company they were very helpful but facing this issue when arriving was not a good experience The comfortable bed is in the eaves tucked between beams which was fine for us but worth being aware of.

• Mergim (10/5): I recommend this to anybody that is looking to stay in Madrid - I have been traveling around the world for the last six years and I can truly say this was by far the best place that I have stayed at. it was in the center of the city and had amazing restaurants and coffee shops everywhere, including stores to go shopping. The host was always available to talk to, and beyond Polite. The beds were very comfy, and the place was very spacious. I would recommend this place to anybody. It is honestly fantastic and super super clean. Thank you for everything.

• Jamil (9/5): Very nice and quiet retreat in the heart of busy beautiful Madrid. - The location is perfect... steps from plaza mayor and mercado San Miguel... walking distance to everywhere else in Madrid. The building is quiet, and the apartment faces inside (not streetside) so the outside noise never was loud enough to bother me and I felt this was a nice and quiet retreat from busy days visiting Madrid. The layout of the bedroom was a little awkward with the bed positioned underneath stringers. This did add some charm to the room, but it was a nuisance and I tripped on the stringers.

• Pablo (7/5): Upscale pricing with strict and dry management - New, calm and well appointed and equipped appartment with a comfortable bed, just a few minutes walk from the historical city center. It's good for solo or young couples without car. The way it's managed it's fairly cold and annoying. You get half a dozen automated emails, must register online, download an app.. pay separate deposit.. Must follow all instructions... I said I would arrive between 21h and 22h.. they decided to make the apartment unaccessible before 22h. For checkout, however someone turned up and tried to get it in at 10h30 (!). The mezzanine is fine for young adults but I don't see any kids or 50+ climbing up and down and jumping through the wood to reach the bed.. and since the bathroom is next to the kitchen and it's not realistic to bring your belongings upstairs, you'll climb them many times. Not a glimpse of a coffee capsule, a plug adaptor, a USB charger or any generosity, just business. Oh, bring your eyeshades, there's a ceiling opening right over the bed. As comfy as it is, it gets bright early. The area is regularly locked down for demonstrations and events, so taxis are not always available.
• Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - extremely walkable. perfect location! loved the bed was upstairs. nice closet area to unpack. water gets nice and hot for a shower! would have preferred to have a key or code to building door - always worried the website wouldn’t work. also, a shelf or something to store things in the shower. existing one has spaces my soap kept slipping through.

• Louise (6/5): Pricey due to location. Clean but an awkward space overall. - Very centrally located. Right in the heart of tourist Madrid. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The space was small and crowded and the stairs up to the loft space were not easy to navigate- the loft is very small with just a mattress. To get to the far side of the double bed you literally had to crawl over the bed — as the roof is so low. Access to the apartment is SOLELY via an app (which was not particularly user friendly). It wasn’t clear when we booked how access would be obtained - so wasn’t that helpful. After 3+ attempts to contact the operator we were then permitted to drop our bags off before 3pm check-in. We wouldn’t have booked it if we had realised how pokey and awkward the bedroom access and space is. We’ve used apps for access before but this one seemed unnecessarily complicated. Our preference is always going to be to speak to someone directly. It makes you feel more welcome!
• Rosemary (9/5): Love Madrid! - The location and that it had a washing machine. Lack of clean instructions in getting in and out of the apartment. I had to call a couple of times for clarification .
• Jim (9/5): Superb - The apartment was really lovely and generally well equipped. Very cosy and comfortable base. While the instructions for accessing the property were generally very clear, there were nonetheless two important errors/omissions: 1. The app (actually just a website) refers to a 'blue button' to open the outer door to the building. This was in fact a grey SLIDER that needs to be slid from Left to Right. This is NOT apparent from the way the UI element is rendered on the web page. On a mobile device the slider can only be used when the device is in landscape mode. Major problem until you know. 2. To open the apartment door once from the inside you don't just need to press the white button, you also need to rotate the white knob a quarter turn anti clockwise to release a latch.

• Gregory (10/5): Modern, well-equipped and comfortable just a few steps from sight-seeing, food, and entertainment. - We absolutely loved the location. We also very much appreciated the comfortable apartment with its many nice and useful amenities. The apartment is spacious and relaxing. The location is just steps from Plaza Mayor and a short walk to the sights of central Madrid. Access to both the Sol and Tirso de Molina metro stops is also quite easy. This is a great place to call home in lovely and exciting Madrid. Finally, the staff made themselves available to us via WhatsApp and they were responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend! We could've used more places to hang towels in the bathroom.

• Calvin (7/5): It was a good location and a cute apartment. Very covenant to have a little grocery store close. - Location was good for us, we felt safe there. The apartment was a good size and the loft bedroom was cool. The cleaning was more superficial. We saw dust bunnies' behind things and under the night table around the bed. The bathroom shower area could use some work and cleaning. Moldy grout and trim was swollen and twisted. The biggest issues were the shower drain was slow so the water would back up and almost spill over on the floor. If you flush the toilet or ran the sink at that time it backs up water into the shower. The other was there was a smell of smoking in the unit a few times when we arrive. I am a landlord so i know this business. I hated to be negative but the attention is in the details. A little evert by the owners to fix these issues and its a good place to stay.

Would have appreciated some bottled water, maybe snacks, or even a small beer. Would have been nice if something was left as a small welcome gift.
