Cuando viajo a mequinez siempre q me quedo en el. Del año pasado a este bajo la cantidad del desayuno, parece ilógico q te digan q no tienen miel en Marruecos, y te den tan solo un msemen por cabeza…

Bella la camera e comodo sia il letto che il cuscino, però poca luce e aria avendo solo una piccola finestra che da sul corridoio della balconata interna al cortile del Riad. Troppo piccolo il bagno ed essendo non finestrato rimane tutto estremamente bagnato dopo l'utilizzo della doccia. Tra l'umidità e un po' di polvere di qualche tappeto, il sonno è stato un po' disturbato, ma la camera è comunque abbastanza confortevole. Buona la colazione.
• stephanie (7/5): Korrekte Unterkunft in zentraler Lage. - Angenehm warmes Zimmer im Winter. Wir waren im Januar dort und haben gebeten, dass uns das Frühstück im Innenhof serviert wird. Die Dachterrasse mit schönen Blick ins Grüne ist bei wärmeren Temperaturen sicher sehr angenehm, war uns aber zu kalt. Das Zimmer war dunkel und hat nur ein blickdichtes Fenster zum überdachten Innenhof hin.

Me gusto todo, es un hotel muy bonito.

Verwarming stond steeds te hoog, waardoor het te warm werd in de kamer om comfortabel te slapen. Het was wel heel koud in marokko, dus liever dat het te warm is dan te kpud, maar was niet echt lekke.

De kamer was donker en zonder luchtig raam. We zaten precies opgesloten in een kast. De douche liep niet goed weg, verlichting in de badkamer werkte niet goed, het ontbijt werd in een donkere ruimte opgediend.

• Zahra (10/5): The riad is in a 5 minute walking distance to the main square, but away from the hustle buslte - Location is walking minutes away form the main square. This was the first riad I have stayed in. The decoration and layout of the room was spectacular. The host was really informative, welcoming, respectful and humble. One guest called him a legend , and I agree. He was available at all hours and did his best to make us comfortable. A parking spot on the road outside the riad was kept for us. The host spoke good English. Breakfast at the riad was very filling with traditional breads, eggs and mint tea. The decoration of the whole riad was amazing and authentic Moroccan furniture and wall and ceiling engravings. They do serve dinner in the evenings, and a menu is displayed on a board outside the lounge. We only stayed here for one night as the town is smaller than other ones in Morocco and was more of a stay over. Although its a bit smaller, there was so much entertainment in the evening especially on the square. Meknes in the evening was very lively - possibly because it was summer and school holidays

• lhassane (3/5): Séjour décevant, marqué par une mauvaise gestion et un manque de sérieux. - Petit riad correct et plutôt joli. La terrasse, avec une vue limitée sur le golf, est utilisée le soir comme café ouvert aux personnes extérieures au riad, avec une ambiance musicale ce qui peut être source de désagrément. Salle de bain vétuste et en plus sale : distributeur de savon rouillé et vide. Imbroglio autour des petits-déjeuners : deux chambres réservées le même jour au même prix, mais à l’arrivée on nous annonce que le petit-déjeuner n’est inclus que pour une seule. Après de longues tergiversations, avec des arguments sans fondement et l’intervention du patron par téléphone, ils finissent par proposer les petits-déjeuners pour la deuxième chambre. Nous avons refusé, vu le temps perdu et la mauvaise gestion de la situation.

• Andrew (10/5): Beautiful, stay with view - Fantastic location, right by the castle walls. Lots of open spaces, gardens, and great views over the city. The bed was super comfortable, the room was light and airy and the open top terrace on the floor above (also a cafe) was beautiful. The staff were really helpful and stored our bikes for us safely inside the building. They did a laundry wash for us which we thought was included but charged us 10 euros for it when we left.

• Alfred (10/5): Our stay next to the palace. - We had a nice decorated room with comfortable bed and bathroom. Sitting in the sun on the roof terrace drinking tea was very nice. Overlooking the city and the Palace gardens. It’s in walking distance to the centre. We had a nice dinner and breakfast. The people are very friendly and helpful. The building with it nicely woodwork and carpets is colourful.

My bike was parked right outside the front door and the building is in between two walls of the royal golf courses, so are apparently patrolled by guards. It felt very safe. The restaurant in the evening was excellent and the young man, Ismail, that served me was very generous with his advice and history of the city. The room was clean and the bed was very firm, but I had a brilliant sleep. The hotel has great terraces to view the city and golf course It was very quiet and a little eerie.

And the drinks you can order there are almost 3 times more expensive than in the rest of the city. 25 dirham for a bottle of water is crazy expensive for morocco.

• Tosca-louise (8/5): Very good - Beautiful riad in an amazing setting and great location. Staff were lovely, the food was amazing!!! We had breakfast and dinner, all freshly prepared.
• Stella (6/5): Pleasant - Very comfortable bed, good spot, nice breakfast, free parking on the street in front. No internet, the bath was holding water, communication with effort.

• Diana (8/5): Relaxing - Just outside the Medina, this hotel borders the Royal golf course. Parking right out front if you have a car ( let them know) Nice terrace & comfortable room. Nice breakfast, and very gracious staff! Would definitely stay there again! Our only complaint is there is no window. The only window opens to the center atrium, so no privacy either if you leave it open. We stayed in March with pleasant weather, so leaving the window closed, was not a problem, but without A/C in the room, I could see it possibly getting hot there in the summer.

• Emils (7/5): Very decent stay near the Medina - Good location, near the old town. Was able to park next to the hotel. Nice rooftop terrace. Very friendly staff! The mattress was not comfortable - even as a stiff mattress lover, this felt a little too uncomfortable. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, compared to other hotels or riads we stayed in. No AC either.

• Tarik (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous authentic place, staff members are the friendliest including the manager, vhey are nice and helpful, great Moroccan breakfast, the view from the terrace is beautiful, Fatima and Nordine, and everyone else I have met at the reception are so friendly infact the best hotel staff, they do their best to make you feel comfortable.and enjoy your stay. I highly recommend the place. I have tried a few places but this is by far the best traditional Moroccan hotel I have stayed in. The location is great as you are near to all the historical buildings and the best restaurants and all amenities. Nothing

• Colin (9/5): Great Location, Friendly and Helpful Staff. - Great location. In a quiet road with very little traffic but within a few minutes walk of the Medina. Parking in front of the hotel no problem. I left my motorbike on the kerb and it was fine. Traditional Moroccan breakfast which included a perfect omelette. Lovely roof terrace. I had a bit of washing that needed doing as I can't carry much on the bike and it was done for me the same day for no charge ! Slight smell of drains from the bathroom - typical of an old riad.
