Una delle migliori colazioni di tutto il nostro viaggio, e una Harira buonissima consumata per cena. Abbiamo avuto difficoltà a trovare dove fosse il parcheggio, ma il personale è comunque stato molto disponibile e ci ha aiutati. Consigliamo di migliorare la posizione su Google Maps o di fornire maggiori informazioni al momento della prenotazione.

- Lucía (10/5): Sitio con encanto en el Valle de Ourika - El sitio en general es precioso, rodeado de animales y jardines, tiene unos salones increíbles, la decoración es muy bonita. Hay que subir muchísimas escaleras para llegar a las habitaciones, falta un poquito de limpieza en general.

Soufiane at the reception office did a great job welcoming us and making us feel comfortable. He has very good communication skills and he was at our service all the time. Chokran Soufiane and Big chokran to all the staff of Dar Ikalimo. You made us feel so welcomed and we are surely going to come back inchaalah!
- Martha (6/5): Wonderful staff, great food, the rest mixed - First the great things: every person on the staff was caring and eager to assist and ensure that we had a good experience. The food was excellent - we had the best tagine of our two week trip at Dar Ikalimo - intense and lemony, just superb. The room was spacious and we enjoyed our balcony. The bed and pillows were very comfortable (and we're picky) and the sheets were so nice and thick and crisp we looked up the website to see if we could buy some! The location is convenient to the sights of the area and if you have your own transport, you can drive past all the touristy places to some truly beautiful spots. On the downside the hotel furnishings are a bit tired and the bathroom was not great - the toilet was threatening to detach from the wall and there was no showerhead. There are over 150 steep stairs to climb to access the hotel which is a disincentive to leave to eat anywhere else, especially in the evening when it's dark. Note, if it matters to you, they do not carry alcohol. There are a lot of animals and so the smells that accompany them are apparent.

- Anwar (1/5): Bad - Nothing I wish we could have stayed at the hotel so I can say we enjoyed our time but our experience was traumatizing. We arrived from agadir at 11pm almost and we were asked to park in the parking area which is off the property boundaries. We were welcomed with three gentlemen and a BIG BLACK PITBULL, which the owner later claimed that he was a bulldog. In all cases I have a phobia from these types of doges, but being welcomed in the dark in the middle of nowhere didn't help i expleained my situation to the gentlemen that welcomed us and he ordered the dog away, he told us that it is safe now and the dog left. Once we got out of the car the dog came running back and we rushed back to the car. One of the guys told us that they are going to lock the dog up with the other guy immediately told him not to lie to customers in amazeek wich thankfully my wife speaks it and told me. When I asked for a refund he told me that they will immediately give it back once I contact booking.com and request it, However the owner only agreed to issue back the second night a few days later after booking.com request. ITS NOT THE PLACE FOR PEOPLE WITH PHOBIAS FROM BIG PITBULLS. And the people there were not honest.

- Mohamed (10/5): Splendid view and value for money - I stayed at Ikalimo for 2 nights with my 5 years old daughter and my mother. It was a wonderful getaway one drive from marrakech city and few kilometers from Seti Fatma waterfalls. The room was spacious with mountain and river view. Natural light and authentic chic Moroccan design of the rooms. The staff is professional and service oriented. Food is good and location is adventurous given that you need to walk up the mountain for few meters to get to Ikalimo. Thank you for a relaxing break!
