Guest Reviews
- Brian (9/5): Warm cosy comfortable stay - The apartment was so incredibly warm for this part of the country where it was needed, thank you for that. Also it was very clean and tidy. The things missing I felt were bowls, and platters, maybe a toastie machine, could be handy. Overall a great stay there in Naseby, and I have already told friends about it.
- Gillian (9/5): Would recommend to others. - Warm and welcoming. Modern and comfortable. Nothing
- Janet (9/5): -
- Tai (10/5): - The location was great. Didn't meet staff but staff did a great job prepping for our arrival. No comment all was great.
- jules (8/5): Cosy and warm welcome - The apartment was tucked away in a quiet location. Cosy as we were delighted to have the host have the heater on. Thank you for the warm welcome. The bed was very comfortable and having the fully equipped kitchen made it was to have meals
- Martin (5/5): - Looks hospitality in Nz is dead :-(
- Toni (6/5): Tired, impersonal and over priced - Lovely location - easy 10 minute stroll to the 'town' - ie the Royal Hotel. Also, spacious apartment with heated towel rail and lots of opening windows. Everything very tired and little thought has gone into client needs. Squeezy soap but no shampoo and nowhere to put anything - such as own soap or shampoo - in the shower. Lots of things needed a screwdriver from the kitchen tap, toilet seat and pan handles - all loose!
Also we saw no staff at all. It is treated as an air bnb with a lock box and impersonal messaging. This was the most expensive of the accommodations booked over a three week trip - by around +$80 and was definitely NOT worth it.
- Greg (10/5): - Quiet, clean, well appointed.
- Alex (10/5): - It was well located, had all the facilities you would need. Check in was easy. Clean etc.
- Webster (10/5): - So relaxing and comfortable
- Andreas (10/5): -
- Lynda (9/5): - Spacious, clean. Very welcoming.
- Sharon (6/5): -
- Alison (8/5): Clean & comfortable - Clean and comfortable The guest laundry was locked and when we enquired we were told eventually it was out of order. Maybe a note on the door to inform guests.
Possible animals in roof space.. scurrying noises at dusk each night.
- Susanne (9/5): -
- Chapman (8/5): - Had to rebook for extra 1child in one room and was dearer than earlier booking for 2 children in other room!
- Kathy (7/5): Warm and very comfortable and close to town Thankyou - It was a warm and cosy spot clean and comfortable.
Cosy and very comfortable
Would have liked some information about wifi codes ( so not accessible) and general info about The unit and Naseby.
A shame no one on site but contact number available.
Small issues but important to me .. not enough milk sachets / tea bags
No broom or shovel See above
- Rodney (10/5): Fantastic, so relaxing. - Beautiful place to stay, would thoughly recomend staying,. Our whole family were travelling and each had a cottage. Nasbey is well worth the stay, if going to Naseby have a ride on the Luge, great fun, lovely hotel for meals and great food.
Love to go backl one day and stay at the same cottage. Leaving the cottage and Naseby, will be back one day.
- Talei (8/5): Great stay. Will stay again and recommend. - Perfect for our one night stay. Had all amenities we needed and quick walk to park and pub for dinner and cafe for breakfast the next morning.
- Georgie (10/5): Will return - Owner and manager went above and beyond to help us as I made a mistake with our booking. Property is close to town and has excellent facilities.

- Janine (9/5): Fantastic time. We had a late check in and the staff were very helpful with that. Only issue was we didn’t bring scissor - Warm, great location, comfortable double bed, lovely warm shower with good pressure. There were no scissors and no sharp knives. There was also no fish slice for removing fried eggs from the pan.

- Sandra Moore (8/5): Winter get away - Location is fantastic, just a short walk to the local café and pub. The unit was amazingly warm even with the hard frost in the morning.
