- DominikS3317 (8/5): Centrally Located Hotel with Beautiful Rooms and an Improved Breakfast Experience - My stay at Valsana Hotel Arosa was overall very pleasant, although this visit was only for one night while attending a festival. I had previously stayed at the hotel several years ago, which allowed for a direct comparison. One of the hotel’s strongest advantages is its very central location, making it convenient and easily accessible. The rooms were modern, well designed, and offered a beautiful view. The check-in process, however, felt slightly inconvenient this time. Although the booking had already been completed in advance via Booking.com, an additional online registration was required upon arrival, and every guest staying in the room had to be registered individually. This made the arrival process feel somewhat unnecessarily complicated. After check-in, we decided to have drinks at the bar. As we were seated slightly away from the main area, service took quite a long time before we were attended to. Another minor disappointment was the wellness area schedule. The facilities were not open particularly late in the evening, and spontaneous sauna visits required prior notification the day before, which reduced flexibility somewhat. On a very positive note, the breakfast buffet was excellent and significantly more varied and improved compared to my previous stay. Overall, the hotel offers attractive rooms, an excellent location, and a very good breakfast experience, although there is still some room for improvement regarding service efficiency and wellness accessibility.

Frischer Kaffee am Morgen beim Frühstück sowie Eierspeisen, French Toast etc. Zusätzlich Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer. Unten direkt nebenan ein Coop, was sehr praktisch ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau: ein paar Schritte muss man schon zum ersten Lift gehen, aber uns hat es nicht sehr gestört.

Breakfast is great and the the food at the Twist restaurant is very tasty! Not to forget the spa facilities which are amazing! Very much enjoyed the stay and we will definitely be back..
- Cerrj (10/5): Outstanding - Valsana Hotel in Arosa was a fantastic experience. The setting is beautiful — surrounded by stunning alpine scenery that makes it easy to unwind. The hotel itself is modern yet warm, with spacious, well-designed rooms that feel comfortable and thoughtfully put together. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and high-quality ingredients. It felt generous without being overwhelming. The spa facilities were a real highlight. The hot and cold plunge pools and sauna were especially enjoyable after a day out. The gym is well equipped — far better than the typical hotel setup — and the complimentary yoga session for guests was a great touch. It was professionally led and a genuinely enjoyable part of the stay. What stood out most was the staff. Friendly, attentive, and very responsive to last-minute requests. The service felt natural and seamless. Overall, they’re clearly doing something right. We’ll definitely be back.

- Eli (10/5): - Very friendly staff and accommodating. We were very pleased that they let us check in early, a few hours before official check in. The room is very nice and spacious, tons of cupboard space, super clean, super comfortable beds. The pool is beautiful and overlooking a spectacular view of the snowy sunny mountains. Would definitely come again.

- Mark1707 (10/5): Perfect place for a relaxing holiday in the Swiss mountains - For the last three years, we spent our Christmas / New Year holiday in Valsana Hotel in Arosa and every time when leaving the place made sure to immediately book again for the coming year, which says it all. The hotel offers great, spacious, comfortable and very clean rooms with a very nice view; staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive; the hotel is situated in a great location to go skiing, for a walk and to reach all places in Arosa on foot; the restaurant Twist offers a great selection of dishes with and really excellent service; and everything is also very children friendly.
- Monica (9/5): Freundlichkeit und Gemütlichkeit im Hotel, kombiniert mit perfektem Skifahren in Arosa. - Besonders gefallen hat uns die Möglichkeit, auch bei schlechtem Wetter den Wellnessbereich zu nutzen. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend: Das Frühstück ist wirklich ausgezeichnet, und auch das Abendessen ist spektakulär. Es werden feine, regionale Gerichte angeboten. Insgesamt ist alles sehr, sehr schön. Das Personal ist ebenfalls äußerst freundlich – man merkt, dass hier gut ausgebildete Menschen arbeiten. Die Mittelstation ist etwas weiter entfernt. Es gibt zwar eine nahe Bushaltestelle, jedoch ist man auf die Buszeiten angewiesen.

- Tebohf (2/5): Worst experience - My experience at the Valsana Hotel has been totally disappointing. Despite canceling the reservation 7 days before, just by exceeding the deadline by 8 hours ( due to timezones), I was charged 100% of the stay. I tried to contact them in various ways, both by email and by phone, seeking a minimum flexibility, but there was none. This strict policy and the hotel's inflexible attitude show a tremendous lack of consideration for guests, something that does not correspond to today's hospitality world. I would not recommend it at all.

- NathiW (10/5): Nicht der erste und nicht der letzte Aufenthalt - Zimmer wie immer sehr sauber und wunderschön. Service und allgemeiner Kunderkontakt zuvorkommend und freundlich. Kleines gutes Frühstück, mit Karte für Eierspeisen, Pancakes etc.

- Stefanie (8/5): Angenehmer Aufenthalt im SPA-Hotel - Schöner Spa Bereich, obgleich er etwas zerteilt war. Sehr geräumige Zimmer Gutes Frühstück mit viel Auswahl und a la carte Optionen! Unser Zimmer war recht düster, die Ausstattung und Gestaltung des Hotels wirkte wie in einem noblen Jagdhaus, für unseren Geschmack etwas zu „schwer“ und nicht authentisch. Auch die Zugangssituation zur Rezeption fanden wir nicht einladend.
- Harald Dotterweich (10/5): Perfekt um Arosa zu erkunden oder einfach abzuschalten. - Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, freundliches Personal, tolles Spa, leckeres Frühstück und Auswahl zum Nachtessen. Das Shared Dish "Blumenkohl" ist für 2x36 CHF doch nicht gut ausgeschrieben und etwas happig für einen ganzn Blumenkohl. Auch bei zwei Hunden (6 & 14kg) wäre es unserer Ansicht nach angemessener nicht 2x40 CHF pro Nacht zu verlangen sondern eine Einmalgebühr egal ob 1 oder 2 Hunde zu verlangen bspw. 30-50 CHF pro Nacht.

- Tsvety (10/5): Fantastic place in Arosa! - From start to finish, we had a great experience! Kind reception ladies, making sure you know what you get during your stay. Very nice facilities, built with taste and the customer in mind. Enjoy delicious food at the TWIST restaurant, where you'll find kind and professional staff. Exceptional Saunas, a big enough fitness center for a boutique hotel, yoga hall .... Simply excellent. That our stay was just for 2 nights :)

- Climber21108296457 (10/5): We can say that the Valsana Hotel Arosa is a true gem, and HIGLY RECOMMENDED. - Like what people said “Don’t judge the book by its cover!” The Valsana Hotel in Arosa From the moment you arrive, the vibe and atmosphere at the hotel is welcoming and relaxed. The rooms are beautiful, with interiors of the highest quality and a thoughtful design that combines comfort and elegance. Of particular note is my favourite corner - the colourful armchair and so instagrammable (a little piece of paradise) complete with a lounge area, armchairs, a table and balcony. The culinary offerings are equally outstanding, with a selection of high-quality and sustainable dishes served in the hotel's restaurant. The staff also deserves praise for their friendliness and professionalism.

- Artemis (10/5): Extraordinary - Everything was amazing. From the location, to the cleanliness and the staff! The hotel is extraordinary and much better than the 5 stars hotels. Just next to the lake and all amenities. The spa is beautiful with outdoor sun beds. The restaurant has amazing dishes and unique cuisine. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Unique interior and exterior. We felt cosy and comfortable with everything.
