Recomendo a hospedagem Não tenho reclamações
- Uwe (10/5): - Extrem angenehm und komfortabel.
Sehr angenehmer Gastgeber.
Alles bestens, keine Kritikpunkte.

- TAMMY (8/5): - Views from every window of the top floor, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, access to free laundry. Some mold is visible.
- John (10/5): - Such a spacious apartment with big rooms, a huge bed, fully equipped kitchen and a lovely furnished terrace. Secure car parking was great, and free use of laundry facilities a bonus. Seats in the living room are not comfortable because they are metre deep beds, rather than sofas.
- Ágnes (10/5): -
- Vanesa (10/5): Conveniently located with a host who truly pays attention to every detail. - The property was very nice and clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend.
- Sarah (10/5): Wonderful gem of a place - Wonderful property and the host is great! The value, location and more than anything the host were absolutely amazing. We would stay again anytime very happily!! Only tiny issue was noise from above but it was not too bad
- Marlo (9/5): -
- Jeremy (10/5): - Our host was a welcoming gentleman. Very hospitable and we enjoyed our stay very much. Spacious, secure, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!
- June (10/5): If we happen to be in La fortuna again, we'll definetly stay here again. - The host was accommodating and quick to respond to our questions. The location is convenient enough to access to all the attractions within a short drive. Can't think of anything.
Gracias.
- Kirsten (10/5): - Cute property with nice location near several hot springs and nature park! We enjoyed our stay!
- Ling (10/5): Wonderful Stay - This is a fantastic place to live. Close to everything. The rooms are big and well decorated. Alvaro and Carkos are extremely friendly and helpful. We wanted to stay here longer and we will come back. Nothing
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- New (9/5): Superb - The location was awesome. Quiet, lush, and close to town. The host was wonderful.
- Ward (10/5): We loved staying at Villas Las Palmas! - The 2nd floor apartment had everything we needed, especially plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped, and we loved sitting on the patio. Alveru was an exceptional host and was very helpful. We ate at his restaurant, the Lava Lounge, both nights because we enjoyed it so much the first night. We highly recommend the Villa Las Palmas! Can’t think of anything. Alveru is having the buildings behind the apartment remodeled and there is considerable noise during the day. But it is very quiet there at night.
- Kate (9/5): Loved it! What a beautiful villa, it felt like home. We felt so welcomed and the service was top. Thank you :) - It was very stylish and we had more space than expected. Beautifully finished rooms and the terrace was perfect in the mornings for being close to nature Unfortunately the neighbour was doing some works on their house, so it wasn’t as peaceful during the day as we would have hoped for
- G (10/5): - Alvaro was very responsive. The inside is tastefully decorated and the garden area is stunning and peaceful. We also liked the luxury bathroom. Only a 10 minute drive to the city. Our family loved it!
- John (3/5): Poor - Location. - Parking difficult (sloped driveway)
- This is a rental place, not a resort, i.e. no amenities. This fact was not as clear in the posting as it should have been
- Limited options within walking distance and nothing on site
- Thin walls. If you have a noisy upstairs guest, then bring ear plugs
- Poor lighting, smelled musty
- Not a place for couples on a special trip, more like a family on a budget
- We had a two night stay and left after one night and we couldn't wait to get out.
- Photos inaccurate/photoshopped.
- Dawn (10/5): Beautiful apartment with terraced garden - Beautiful apartment. Lots of room. Huge comfortable bed. Lovely terrace to sit out on. Very convenient to park and all that the area has to offer. We were the ground floor apartment. Some noise from people walking around above. Air conditioning unit noisy outside. Some occasional road noise. But still loved the place!!
- Sasha (10/5): Perfect location and wonderful accomodation! - Great location and host! N/A
- Jean (9/5): A wonderful experience -
- Ellen (9/5): Superb -
- Raymond (10/5): - Alvaro was a great host. Immediately attentive to our needs. Comfy beds, nice showers.
- Matthew (10/5): Well priced, full apartment near nature - Super friendly host, gated property, quiet and only 10 minutes outside of town.... great place to relax and listen to nature.
- Philip (10/5): Just Perfect. - Fantastic location for all the attractions around La Fortuna. Stylish roomy and well equiped apartment and garden. Secure parking. Very welcoming and helpful host. Great value for money.
- charles (10/5): Spacious and great host - Loved it! The host was super nice and helpful. If you are able to get this spot, I highly recommend. Spacious as well as great bathroom/shower.
- Qing (9/5): Superb -
- Kirsten (10/5): Great place to stay! - Great layout, the bed was super comfortable and we loved the outdoor seating. The owner was fantastic! We were also able to do some laundry. Great stay
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Anne (10/5): - The host was available and super friendly. He went out of his way to make us comfortable. The Villa is spacious and private. Super luxurious bath and bedroom. Very convenient to have a functional kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!
- Rasmus (7/5): Good -
- Linda (10/5): Great find! - This apartment was surprisingly amazing for the price! Spacious and very clean with a full kitchen of appliances. We would definitely stay here again.
- James (10/5): Very nice - Beutiful location. Excellent space, especially for the price. 100% would book wit again.
Alvaro was super friendly and lots of local suggestions.
5 stars for sure.
- Kimber (10/5): Exceptional - Large villa, great place.
- Viacheslav (9/5): Superb -
- Belinda (8/5): Comfortable accommodation, friendly host - King bed
Large living space with kitchen
Two bathrooms It was our first night in Costa Rica so we weren’t used to all the insects as the windows had been left open.
- Martin (9/5): Peaceful haven after a day of activities - Quiet leafy location about 10 km from La Fortuna. We had the ground floor of a two-storey house: spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a large living/dining/kitchen, a large bedroom, two en suite bathrooms, and access to a communal laundry. It also had an enclosed courtyard garden with parking, featuring a covered terrace and multiple trees. Friendly and helpful host. Nothing.
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Owner was great, made arrangements after I needed to delay pur arrival after a minor injury. And obtained a mokka pot for my stay, something to make the vacation just a little better.
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional - Alvaro's place was great! I really enjoyed staying here for a few days and taking advantage of the activities around the volcano. The location was great, easy to get to the highway but far enough away that you don't hear it. The unit itself was clean and spacious and all of the amenities were great, bed, shower, outdoor patio with seating, etc. Alvaro himself was an extremely kind and helpful man who gave us tips about where to go and was available for any questions or help. Very nice accommodations, would go again in a heartbeat. Really nothing, no suggestions to improve as it was a great day.
- Lisa (10/5): Really terrific private spot out of the hustle and bustle of the main town. - Secluded outdoor space, location, very nice host. Kitchen was not stocked with many pans or utensils, no spices or extras. Poor storage.
- Shona (10/5): - Lovely apartment with a friendly and helpful host. Gated parking. Good air conditioning, nice covered deck, high ceilings.
The main street was an easy 4km drive to lots of restaurants, stores and activities.
Would definitely stay there again.
- Gaurav (10/5): Pleasant, relaxing and worth every penny. - The property is located pretty well.
~4 km from the La Fortuna center.
~1 km from thermal parks.
~10 kms from Arenal national park.
To top it all, Mr Alvaro is super hospitable. There’s nothing to dislike about the property.
- Anonymous (7/5): A beautiful place too close to the road - The interior space is elegant and spacious with high ceilings and grand windows. It is very close to a road. The road does not get much traffic, but what comes by is loud. The showers are beautiful, but the shower heads have issues and the water pressure has issues too. There is no place to go for walks except for the roads which are questionable.
- Paul (8/5): Overall great. Would stay there again. - Lots of room for 2 of us. Good supplies in kitchen (plates, pans, etc.) Huge master shower. Only a few minutes from town but driving at night on narrow roads with pedestrians and bikes out is challenging. Host was very helpful when small cleaning issue was seen after check-in. Nice patio for morning coffee or any other time. Was not told that to key get keys I would need to park along narrow street and ring bell to be let into the gated parking area. AC was off and it seemed musty at first (humid area all around volcano) but setting the AC on 'dry' setting for a few hours made it great the rest of the time.
- Ottawa (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): Beautiful and great host - The apartment was beautiful and our host was extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was very roomy and comfortable. Definitely recommend. The only problem that we had was finding the place because both Google maps and Waze sent us to a totally different place. Make sure that you contact the host by phone before you start looking for the place so that he can guide you to the exact location.
- Marcos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anastasia (1/5): Mold paradise - Beautiful house. 1 floor of the house, not tge whole one The strong smell of mold everywhere. You will not be able to breathe there. No fan, neither AC will help you. Widely opened windows hardly helps...but 150 metres from the jungles and park of death-dangerous frogs will make you close the windows. And you will enjoy mold whole night long, poisoning your lungs.
- Tim (10/5): Great apartment just outside of Fortuna - Very spacious apartment with a nice Terrace and comfortable bed. We enjoyed our dinners outside on the Terrace. It's outside of la fortuna, so a rental car is a must.
- Gaurav (10/5): Tranquil, home away from home - The location, property owner.
mr Alvaro was hospitable and helped us with all the arrangements. nothing
- Elizabeth (10/5): I would absolutely stay here again. - Alvaro was a perfect host. I wasn't sure where to go to get to the property, but he had earlier contacted me through Booking.com and provided his phone number. I called him when I got into La Fortuna, and he met me in his car and had me follow him. Throughout our stay, he was accessible and responsive to all queries and provided us with some extraordinary recommendations. I don't think anything could have been better. It was exceedingly lovely and comfortable.
- Suzanne (8/5): - Thank you for the wonderful stay. We so enjoyed ourselves, the area and all of the wonderful suggestions for restaurants and activities.
Should we have the pleasure of returning to the La Fortuna area in the future; we will most definitely ensure we stay again at Villas Las Palmas.
- Blackhawks (10/5): - This is a hidden gem in this town. Quite, convenient to anywhere, free laundry, nice host.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Damp and noisy - This apartment is well-decorated and has a nice small garden but no pool or hot tub. When we arrived it had clearly been closed up for many days and smelled very strongly of damp and even mould. While the person who manages the property was very friendly and sent a cleaner, that didn’t change the smell. There is not really enough kitchen equipment to cook properly. As there is an apartment above this one it can be very noisy in the morning especially.. I was woken up both days by the upstairs neighbours. And there is quite a lot of road noise in the mornings.
- Glenda (10/5): - Stayed two nights in the top unit of Villas Las Palmas. The condo was beautiful. It was nice having a gated parking area. Be sure to call ahead and let them know when you will arrive, so someone will be there to let you in. We had no problems finding it using Google Maps and it was conveniently located to the town. Continental breakfast was provided at the Lava Lounge which was about a 6 minute drive from the property. Cons: no detailed instructions for check out or where breakfast was located. This was easily remedied by calling the number they provided. We also had an issue with the toilets not flushing intermittently and there was a slight sewer smell that we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Overall, it was a great property - comfortable, spacious and clean.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful apartment. Spacious and clean and bright. Directions a bit rough. Maybe note locality to Pure Trek Canyoning business as it is next door. Once there, accomodating host, greeat locale, close to everything. Would definitely return!
- Elisabeth (10/5): - Loved the location and privacy would go back and would stay longer
- Murtaja (10/5): - It was so nice and clean, we really loved it and we wished we staied more than four night
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Villas Las Palmas was so nice. Very clean villa and a wonderful covered patio to relax. You can sit out on the patio while it's raining. Amazing birds everywhere! We had the upstairs villa and it was perfect. We will definitely stay here again. The only issue we had was very minor (apartment didn't have any spoons). Communication can be an issue , but Melissa with allaboutcostarica was very helpful in helping us get situated and getting tours booked for us. Salvador, who lives next door, is also very helpful (he called a taxi for us when we couldn't get a hold of Melissa) but doesn't speak much English, but you can use Google translate to communicate with him. Very nice man. Location is about 5 minutes from the town of La Fortuna so I would recommend renting a car. Also, I recommend having dinner at Nayara which is just up the road from Villas Las Palmas. They have an excellent bar and two great restaurants. We ate at Mis Amores and it was excellent with a great view of Arenal volcano.
- Tony (6/5): - We arrived after dark and could not locate property. No signs on street. Called two different hotel numbers and both were disconnected. Asked at least 10 local resort workers and no one had ever heard of it. After a lot of detective work the next day before leaving town, was finallyable to find hotel way off the beaten track with absolutely NO HOTELS SIGNS POSTED. Wound up staying at Tabacon at last minute with no other options. Paid 6x price I would have paid at Villas Las Palmas if we could've found the place.
- Jack (10/5): Excellent! - Beautiful villa. Excellent condition and location. We were not sure had the right place when first arrived as there was not a sign but was not too much of an issue.
