Guest Reviews
- Nadra (8/5): -
- Luca (10/5): Beautiful - Very beautiful, antique House. My stay was fantastic, especially for the very fair price.
Very nice hosts.
- Roman (1/5): Stay away. - Nothing 1) no privacy. The owner went inside of the house while I was out. That’s just unacceptable
2) no WiFi. Owner says it’s to stay disconnected and in peace, but “if you want, I can give you access to the hot spot of my phone. Though there will be no connection in few seconds once I close the door”
3) no way to reach the property by car. You have to walk last 500-700meters because there is no road to this house
4) and the worst part is it’s super cold. Owner said that he has smart system and heating will go on automatically at 7pm. Well, it never worked. I got cold at night and got sick.
5) not possible to get in touch with the owner, he doesn’t answer the phone.
Just stay away from this scammers
- Vic (10/5): Exceptional - Very helpful host speaking good English
Well equipped for self catering. A little more signing would be helpful as the property is c50 m from the road in a pedestrian area. Up a narrow surfaced path
Once found it was delightful.
- Kaustav (10/5): Alberto is a great host. Helped us to get to his house as we were lost and also moved his own car to accompdate us parki - It was in an unique location
- Juancarlos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helena (10/5): Exceptional - I was super well received and the communication was easy. The place is quiet, clean and cozy surrounded by a beautiful forest. If you are not going with a car the mobility to the cinque terre can be a bit more difficult but possible.
- John (10/5): Great value and host! - The host was so welcoming and kind! Had a great conversation and dinner recommendation upon arrival. He even reserved me a table at a nearby restaurant. Very charming decorations in a beautiful location. I really enjoyed my stay.
- Robert (9/5): Alberto and Elisabette made our stay simply perfect. Alberto gave us the most helpful advice about what to do/ where - We loved the peace and quiet and that our rooms were self-contained. We felt perfectly safe in a lovely small community and our hosts, Alberto and Elisabette could not have been lovelier. Not much. A kettle would have been useful, but not essential!
- Tigran (5/5): )) - Maybe only view from the window. Beginning with that, most photos are randomly taken, not from the actual property. Property is within the owners property, not only quite a walk from NOT secured car park (just random place) but also labyrinth journey through the owners house. Accommodation is rather a DIY place than renting accommodation. Shower with GLASS ceiling, visible from the mezzanine (1.5m hight)) floor, so if you are familie or friends it will be quite a fun))) ,at leastwater was hot. The kitchen is falling apart, a lot of random unusable stuff all over the kitchen and cupboards. No TV. Bedroom was a very rustic look, very beautiful. The bed! impossible squeaky bed!))) Noise from the floor above, early morning someone was constantly ragging something over the floor. Washing machine not free and you ha e to even ask permission to use it, actually owner has to come and set it up for you. Well, it was a bit of adventure)) Maybe it's ok for one day stay, not more. Sorry, but there are tons of work need to be done to make this property a welcoming place. All the best.
- Csaba (9/5): Superb -
- Chuttenjr (9/5): Superb - The holiday guest house was pretty nice and cozy, well equipped. The location was very chill and rural and the views from the house to the mountain amazing.Alberto is so friendly and helpful .The location is very close to Cinque terre national Park and beautiful towns.Recommended visit. Keep in mind that there's no wifi or tv service provided in the house ( To be expected cause of the remoteness of the house and also stated on the ad).
Rent a car for easiness of transport cause p.transport from and to Ricco del Golfo (Valdipino) - La Spezia is kinda limited.
- Charlotte (9/5): Great apartment in lovely village! - The apartment is situated in a really cute little village and I absolutely loved it. The hosts were kind and accommodating with helping find the location and a parking spot etc. The apartment is really well priced with a lovely view. I was travelling alone as a female and felt safe there. Thanks again! It wasn’t a problem for me but you definitely want to be agile to get up the stairs for the upstairs bedroom :) (there was also a second bedroom which would be easy to access)
- Mary (10/5): Amazing views! Beautiful quiet & peaceful accommodation! 100% recommended. Perfect stay! - Amazing views! Beautiful peaceful location with lovely sunny very comfortable flat! Great host!
- Tranberg (9/5): Nice place with a beautiful view. -
- Bas (7/5): Good - Alberto welcomed us very warmly, the accommodation is quite unique with its old inside walls. The bedroom is in the older part of the building which has no window to the outside and therefore no option to open a window for ventilation. The kitchen has seen better times, it is functional but not very inviting to prepare meals there.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Uros (9/5): Superb - Really quiet village. Not far from la spezia. Owner explained where to get a free parking for the train to cinqueterre.
- Beatrix (7/5): This can be a great stay if you are looking for a chill and relaxing stay, not that great for adventure seekers. Also go - The property was very nice for a relaxing cottage experience, the place is quite and surrounded by nature. 🌲 There are not a lot of things to do around considering the property is quite isolated, the closest dinning place was at a 30 minutes walk from the rental. I do not recommend this place if you don’t go by car because it is quite far from the city and the buses go with a low frequency. Also, from the bus stop to the property there is 30 minute walk as the bus only goes as far as the center of Ricco del Golfo and the property is located further away.
- Carol (10/5): Wonderful, quiet! - The location was in the mountains 10 minutes out of La Spezia, in a village with 40 people. The house was 400 years old. Very rustic! Alberto was a most gracious host, warm and friendly. Wonderful, quiet place to stay while visiting the Cinque Terre region!!
- Pamela (8/5): very friendly staff and very cute place - very cute place in a bucolic neighborhood. a bit of humid smell
- Tomasz (10/5): Exceptional - Very quiet, comfortable and relaxed place... High level Holiday House!
- Larissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marco (8/5): Lovely place near La Spezia e Cinque Terre - The apartment is in a small and cozy town. Very quiet and calm but close to everything if you have a car The fridge didn't cool enough and the washing machine needed the tenant approval and an extra fee in order to use it
- Sali (2/5): I usually leave no bad reviews, but the decision to not give us a late checkout even though the check-in is at 5pm did i - The check-in at 5pm threw us off completely. We were left with the decision to go through Cinque Terre, without leaving our things behind or being able to take a shower.
The owner was pretty precise about us leaving at 10am even though we arrived at 9pm.
If the check-in is at 5pm, who cleans for 7 hours??
We came in extremely tired and the parking is very far if you have luggage to carry.
You get no wifi, which at the 21st century equals torture.
