Guest Reviews
- Lee (8/5): - Excellent location in Williams. Very comfortable bed and very clean. An older Rt 66 Motel from days gone by. Only draw back was the squeaky floor.
- Melanie (2/5): - Rm 1…..just go elsewhere. Trip hazard stepping down into bathroom, cramped, weird vibe with two doors paper thin and could hear sneezes as if it was next to us and worker activity below the other door. We left early, wasn’t even worth haggling for a refund. The lady was very kind, it was just a bad facility experience.
- K (6/5): - The room was dated .AC heat hard to regulate
- Mark (10/5): - Awesome place
- Richard (6/5): - Close to everything in Williams. You can walk to restaurants ans shops.
- gertrude H (4/5): - Hair dryer not working, steps to bathroom from bedroom si dangerous
- Matthew (2/5): - I was so terrified to stay there that I didn't. I ended up going down the street and getting a different room at a different hotel. The place was filthly, vagrants were walking around. Old furniture was sitting outside. The pictures didn't represent the motel at all.
- Melissa (10/5): - Last minute checkin very nice
- Billy (10/5): - Clean and quiet. Great service.
- Julia (8/5): - Great location and one level
Nice place
- Luis Enrique (2/5): - The service was good, the room was spacious and pleasant, but the bathroom was dirty, the bathtub was extremely dirty, the bathroom wall had mold. When I told the manager what had happened, she apologized and said it was because the cleaning man was old and Mexican.
- Julia (10/5): - Great location. Small motel love it
- Stephen (6/5): - For the price it was ok for 1 night. The AC kept cutting out at the plug and the fridge never really got cold
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice little inn close to everything! - Lovely little inn just off the Main Street in Williams, AZ. Convenient to a lot of shopping, dining, Bearizona, & the railway to the Grand Canyon. Pretty clean inside and not in disrepair. They provide microwaves, fridges, towels and little bottles of soap and shampoo.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good location but a little run down - The motel was located in a great location, easy to walk to everything in the area and was small, not busy, which was nice. The outside was a bit unwelcoming and outdated with a lot of old furniture setting outside. The beds were comfortable, room was spacious but a little dirty and needs some updating.
- Kimberlee (10/5): - Rooms are nice and great location. Needs some updating but I’d stay here again.
- melinda (10/5): - The lady that checked us in was very nice and had everything ready for us. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. We loved the area and would recommend to friends.
- Barbara (10/5): - Great small well located hotel.
- Barbara (10/5): - Rooms are clean and parking is right at your front door. Easy walk to shops and restaurants.
- Sandra (2/5): - We reserved 2 rooms and looked at 3 upon check in. There was a musty smell in 2, bathroom smell in the other, the window locks in 2 rooms were missing or non functional, etc. TV remote not working, flickering light in bathroom, only memory foam type mattresses available. (Photos would not upload)
- Barbara (8/5): - Old room but very clean.
- Jocelyn (8/5): - Staff was wonderful and property was off Route 66 leading straight to the Grand Canyon. Although the white towels had some minor staining and bathroom wasn’t to my standards of clean it was still an enjoyable experience for the two days me and my family spent there. The staff still made sure I was accommodated well.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My daughter and I stay here because it is inexpensive, clean and the beds are very comfortable. It isn’t fancy but adequate.
- Raul (10/5): - Stay was good. Room was clean and comfortable to stay.
- Tomasz (4/5): Run down motel in the heart of Wiliams - While we expected the Cecilo Inn to be an old run down motel, we were utterly disappointed with its maintenance and cleanness. The carpet haven’t seen a vacuum cleaner for a while. The tube was filthy, and the whole bathroom literally stunk. We found some remaining hair after the previous guests. What made our stay acceptable, was a comfortable bed, fine fridge and a microwave oven.
- Ronald (8/5): - N
- Sushmita (8/5): - Nice property if you’re on a budget.
- Liz (6/5): - Good place
- William (10/5): Park at the Door - The room was small but perfect for an overnight stay after a motorcycle ride. Room 15 was clean and orderly. Everything worked and I found nothing broken or missing. The front door was a little worn and a little worse for wear. You get to park right at the door to the room, which is exactly what I'm looking for when on a motorcycle ride. I'm definitely booking again.
- Audrey (8/5): - Everything clean except remote for TV quite dirty. Would have liked a couple more pillows.
- Cameron (10/5): - Affordable. I only needed a bed and shower
- Carmelita (8/5): - In need of a little renovation but definitely cute little duplex style property I really like it o and very quiet
- james (10/5): Would stay again - Was a very clean motel
- D'Aun (10/5): - They are helping me out, during a VERY DIFFICULT TIME.
- D'Aun (10/5): - They are helping me out during a VERY DIFFICULT TIME!!
- Todd (10/5): - The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do and williams. It was during that bad snow storm so the people there were very accommodating when we had to arrive a little bit late made sure we got checked in into our room. Had everything we needed for a large family and we really appreciated everything done that weekend to make our stay very enjoyable.
- Hannah (10/5): Cute! Loved the stay - What a nice place
- Sean (10/5): Must stay - Celilo is our go to place in Williams!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Not so clean, smelled like mold. Air condioner was very noisy. Everything is falling apart. I prefered it over other similarly priced hotel because of 7.8 rating but it was bad and does not deserve that high rating
Maybe fake reviews.
- Shawn (10/5): - This property is one level only, it's smaller than most places. It's walking distance to so many dining options. They have a mini fridge, microwave, coffee in the rooms, hair dryer, they give plenty of towels, the area is quiet, the front desk lady is nice. The prices can be better here than at some major hotel chains in the area.
- Shawn (10/5): - It's quaint. The towels are nice, soft. They give plenty of linen. The rooms are unique in size. Accomodations mini fridge, desk with chair, one cup coffee maker w/ coffee in the rooms. Charming, not many rooms making the parking lot smaller than usually. Convenience is here :)
- Gerald (6/5): Good Enough when you are tired - It is what it is, we just needed an inexpensive place to sleep before going to the Grand Canyon - it served its purpose - hotel is in need of a major cleaning and renovation, but after driving for 15 hours, we didn't care, we just needed a bed - the town is fantastic and the woman who checked us in was extremely nice.
- Yoko (4/5): Just a regular old motel - We didn't expect great but it was regular old motel. I didn't know that people sitting and talking hours out side in cold 35F night. I couldn't sleep if I wasn't tired enough. I found the liquid soap they provided was looked opened and been used but the Lady at checkin desk said it wasn't opened neither used. Offered another one but she wasn't able to find one... What was worser than the hotel was foods we ate at the corner. We should've checked reviews as usual...
- David (10/5): - Very friendly staff, pet friendly and super comfortable beds.
- Ezequiel (6/5): - Great price, lady was nice
- Elane (8/5): - Easy accessibility, convenience of being able to walk pretty much everywhere
- Amber (4/5): Ashtray or Hotel Room? - The room smelled like someone had been smoking in it for days straight. The towels were dirty with literal hair and other hard yellow things stuck to them. The shower gel and toiletries were used (not a big problem, but at least wipe them down), the bedspread had stains all over it, walked in and the room was freezing as the AC was apparently unplugged, I left smelling like an ashtray and our winter coats and bags still smell like stale cigarettes and will need to be dry cleaned.
- Zulema (6/5): - Is walking distance of the downtown.
- Julie (6/5): - Ad my husband stated, "this was a luxury property in 1953."
- Tenzin (8/5): - ,
- Michelle (4/5): - Issues with water going from cold to scolding hot and back and forth.
- Zachary (10/5): Fast & welcoming check-in - Check-in was fast and friendly. The owner is very kind. Room was comfortable and clean. Hot water that lasts. Only thing i would like to see is a shelve near sink to put non shower bathroom stuff. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. Thank you.
- Robert (2/5): - Very dirty inside of room and outside. They do not put any money into this hotel. Stained towels, 5 inches of water when you use the dirty shower. It did no drain and we told the office and she completely ignored us. They do not offer breakfast of any kind. If u ring the outside bell of the office, no one answers! A friend of ours, got locked in her room, the door handle was broke. The office lady just said use your hand. It was broke!!!! This is a huge fire safety issue! They charged us 45$ cash only for our small pet, not a bad amount, but being that the room was dirty and not a well kept hotel, it is kind of silly! They dont even keep the parking lot clean or the front of the rooms. Old furniture tables are kept outside of the rooms. We stayed 3 nights.
- Jodeyne (8/5): - Great location to walk Route 66 in Williams. Affordable.
- Joy (10/5): - Old style motel on Route 66.
- Monica (2/5): - This was a terrible place to stay and I had booked it for three nights! Stay someplace else. I don’t even know where to start. The air conditioner was either on or off so you had to keep getting up to turn it off when you got cold. The sheets and towels were gray and threadbare. There was a crack in the window and one in the door. The carpet remnant that was thrown over half of the dirty carpeting was dirty. I have never stayed in a hotel that didn’t put a top sheet on the bed. I had to request one. I was trying to stay on Route 66 our whole trip but this was a total disappointment.
- Carl (8/5): - Room exceeded cleanliness of comparable budget hotels making it a sensible economic choice.
- santosh (4/5): - Not worth of the money
- Karen (8/5): Not too bad - This is a basic hotel. Good for sleeping. We were busy all.day so we only slept here. Beds were very comfortable. The rest of the room needed to be updated.. It had no closet or dresser to put things in. There was no counters in the bathroom.
- Jerry (8/5): - Old tired motel which is nicely maintained. Great location. Beds not the greatest but very clean.
- Julia (8/5): - Nice location, no stairs great customer service
- Konrad (10/5): - Great Place
- Sean (10/5): - We absolutely love it here!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Okay stay - Okay stay. Motel was kind of old & needs to be updated. The front lady was friendly & helpful. Price was good.
Overall stay, good.
- Brenda (4/5): not satisfied - The bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows were flat. The towels were very thin. They did not have a vending machine nor did they have an ice machine on site. the location is good
- Robin (10/5): - In my ten thousand mile road trip, this was the cleanest, most pleasant, and least expensive motel that I stayed in.
- shannon (10/5): - We had a wonderful experience. They accommodated late check in when we were stuck in traffic and had everything all set for us. Thank you for your kindness and understanding!
The town is absolutely charming. All in all is was a great option on our drive.
- Ricky (8/5): - Good stay
- Art (10/5): - good nights stay
- Barbara (8/5): - Basic motel but clean and close to shopping and restaurants
- Joy (6/5): - It was clean and quiet. Easy access to our car, nice walking area for our dog. Hotel room was small, windows were not secure. We went to True Value store in town to get small locks to place on windows. Also, cost 25.00 extra a night for my dog to stay in room with us. We staid 3 days, you think after the first day they noticed our room was clean and organized with our dog and knocked the price down. When asked for price to stay another night still charged me another 25.00 for my dog. This made our decision not stay another night. In all, was a clean and quiet place to stay.
- Christopher (10/5): Comfortable and clean - Hotel is very clean nice and we appreciate the service
- Verified traveler (8/5): Perfect location, pet friendly! - The location of this hotel cant be beat. The rooms are reasonably priced and get the job done. I love that they are pet friendly but call ahead to check on fees. The information posted on hotels.com is not correct, it is $20 per dog per night.
- Michael (8/5): One night in Williams - Its right in town on 66 lots of places to walk to! Was Perfect for our stay! Dog Friendly only a $20 charge! We would definitely stay again!
- Sara (8/5): - The room was very spacious and suited my needs for a nights rest. however the sheets were so badly pilled that they weren't comfortable, and the floor tub in the bathroom I was staying in seemed to be previously broken with a water seal mat placed on top, but it didn't feel safe standing there to shower. When standing on it I could feel the hole that was attempting to be patched.
- Terri (2/5): Horrible!! Full stop. - Horrible hotel. Our bed had soiled sheets and pillow cases. Hair, body fluids and body filth. Had to change the bed linen myself after asking three times for clean linen. Rooms in general were dirty x 2 as we had two rooms for two nights. Room was not cleaned or made up the next day. Had to ask three times for clean towels and waited until the evening before the owner finally got around to getting the towels for both rooms. Coffee maker didn’t work, and replacement was filthy. AC in both rooms were marginal and noisy. One AC kept shutting off, then randomly starting back up. AC unit was held together with cardboard glued to hold vents open. Floors had a dip in middle of rooms, then up hill towards rear of room and bathroom. One bed leaned so far to one side you had to constantly adjust to keep from falling off. Center night stand drawer wouldn’t stay closed because of the floors being uneven and leaning. Had to use toilet paper to prop it up. No place to hang any clothes & no iron. Zero shelving anywhere near the sink. The exterior area was unkempt and dirty. A used toilet was sitting two doors down under plastic. Front desk is made of nailed plywood pieces and “lobby” has no AC so it’s boiling hot in there. Do Not Recommend!!
- LPC (6/5): - Great little motel. Old, but clean comfortable and reasonably priced.
- Frank (2/5): - We got a phone call from the property about our reservation I wasn’t able to answer so I called back 3 times within an hour and no answer and when we arrived we was waiting outside with another customer for an hour so we left after being in the road for several hours tired and this happens don’t go here unless you want to sleep in your vehicle
- MARK (8/5): Simple place - Ok place. Just what we needed. Worked good for a quick trip out of the heat and for a fare price. Would stay the again.
- Beth (8/5): - Quiet nice staff
- Verified traveler (6/5): Budget friendly - This was a two night stay. One-story motel with about 15 rooms in an “L” shape. Check-in was quick and staff was friendly and welcoming. Parking was right in front of your room. The room itself needs a complete overhaul, especially the flooring. The bed was comfortable. The towels need to be upgraded - they were thin and appeared to be old (but clean.) Fridge, microwave, and coffee pot were provided and were clean. The sink area (pedestal sink) did not have any space for toiletries, which was inconvenient. Shops and restaurants were close walk away. All said, since we are now seniors traveling on a budget, we would rather spend more on food and entertainment than a room we only use to sleep.
- Steven B (10/5): - Nice property.
- Barbara (10/5): - Older basic hotel but very clean and walking distance to shops and restaurants
- Richard (8/5): - It served my purpose and I was satisfied. Parking stalls could use new lines painted but for an older facility it was good.
- Lonnie (8/5): - Small place, good check-in experience. Hotel room was basic, which was fine for a rest period. No big complaints, except the towels racks were missing, and no closet, to hang anything.
- Larry (8/5): - Check in was quick and easy. Restaurants close by. For the price its fine.
- Francisco (10/5): Nice Stay - Nice little hotel for a quick stop.
- Gary (8/5): Comfortable sleep! Soft beds! - Very comfortable beds, shower was fine. Only comment was that the toilet was jammed in tight to the sink making it difficult to reach the handle.
- Michele (4/5): - This was our third time staying at this hotel and had previously felt we got what we paid for..which is a nice clean room and comfortable bed. However upon entering this room we realized that it definitely had deteriorated. The linens were literally threadbare. I pack pillow protectors but rarely feel like I need to use them, but there was NO way I was putting my head on those pillows. Sheets were so thin along with the red blanket on bed, used blanket we had in the car. If the bed linens weren't so horrible/old/dirty feeling, this might be an entirely different review. The other thing that threw me off was checking out when they just have you leave the key 'cause office was closed until 2pm. I have trust issues and wanted to have a receipt as they take a credit card for 'incidentals' just to make sure I was not charged for anything but was unable to obtain one. The one thing...Location is awesome, walking distance to just about everything in the area.
- nick (8/5): William's - Clean & quiet. Walking distance to stores & restaurant's. Needs to be upgraded inside, but overall will stay again.
- Francine (6/5): - The hotel is old - with dated rooms. People smoke right outside their rooms so it wafts into your room. The linens were threadbare and the door to our room gaped. Also when the room attendant serviced our room they did not close the door tightly so it was left unlocked. You really needed to pull the door tight to securely lock it. Thankfully nothing was stolen. It’s a good thing we are short because the shower head and mirror is about 4 feet high!
- Carol (2/5): - Made mistake during online booking and they wont fix the problem
- Debra June (10/5): - Located on the main street. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very clean and quiet.
- Indranie (10/5): - Nice location, downtown William
- Joachim (8/5): - It is a good and clean motel, on the route 66 directly in town. Low traffic rate, evrything was okay
- Kevin (10/5): - Receptionist stated we could park our motorcycles under cover
- Fred (10/5): - Great older property but all the needed amenities.Fridge, microwave, coffee and nearby mini-mart.Peacecul and quiet
- Susan (6/5): - The room was clean, the bed comfortable, it was quiet for sleeping, there was hot water in the shower, and it was cheap. The building is old and run down, the sheets were thread-bare, there was only one chair in the room.
- Leon (10/5): - The hotel is clean, convenient located and the staff is friendly
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great little place. The beds were a bit hard and the fridge didn't work but overall comfortable quiet little place
