The breakfast and dinner were delicious and they also played traditional music at night. The pick up was organised very well. Fans in the room would be nice - but they’re in the process of upgrading some rooms… so it’ll probably happen!

- Balint (10/5): Exceptional - It was my second stay with Quiet Village Camp and certainly not the last one! It is a well-organized, well-equipped, clean accommodation that preserves the authenticity of a Wadi Rum bedouin camps. While the facilities are spacious, clean and comfortable, the entire experience preserves the perfect balance between personal privacy and the community programmes in the evening. The well-organized day trip is absolutely worth trying, our guide Ahmad took us to the best spots of Wadi Rum while providing insightful commentaries during our journey - and he even invited us for a sunset tea in the desert at the end of the day. Saleem, the manager is always approachable and helpful, making sure to personally greet the guests. The food, especially the dinner is a delicious and very special experience. -

Saleem was an incredible & gracious host and entrusted Yousef to be our driver and guide through the desert. Yousef was so fun and hospitable and the perfect person to spend time with touring his backyard. The lodging was comfortable in an unbeatable location with a great meal followed by endless cups of tea and music by the fire that night. Absolutely a “must do” in Jordan. We asked for 3h ride with 4x4 to see the most visited places, then had additional lunch and then 1h camel ride (from pick up location in the village to the camp. - Manasree (9/5): Pleasant and comfortable stay - I had a very pleasant, short stay. I received prompt responses to any queries I had prior to my arrival. Saleem was very helpful through the check in process. Ahed was our guide for the full day Jeep tour and made sure we got to spend enough time at every location without rushing us. There was tea served at every stop. Plenty of choices for the food during lunch, dinner and breakfast. The tent was huge and comfortable.Something to keep in mind is that the bathroom and cleanliness would be as you would except at a basic camping facility. The communal tents are huge and very comfortable. For dinner we got to experience the Zarb cooking technique and the food was delicious. As a solo female traveller I felt very comfortable through my stay at the camp. Nothing really, except that I couldn't figure out how to operate the space heater in the tent but with all the blankets provided, really didn't need it for the one night I spent.

Dinners cost an additional 10DR and are delicious. Breakfast is simple but filling. Staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone.

And the 3 hour jeep tour was exactly what I had hoped. All in all my experience at Quiet Village was exceptional. A small heater in the tents would have been great as the mornings were quite chilly (I was there in November).

The staff is very nice, the room is quite clean (not to a five star hotel standard but in terms of a desert camp, it's quite clean, especially comparing to some other camps we stayed in Jordan during the trip). The dinner was great! The main dish is grilled chicken and potato cooked under the sand, the chicken actually is a bit dry, but everything else is superb. There was an eggplant dish, I haven't no idea how it was cooked but it's out of the world! Even the hummus and the typical tomato and cucumber salad that you can find in every Jordan restaurant and home is the tastiest we had in the whole trip in Jordan. I travelled with my parents and husband and they all agree with my comments about the food :) Our rooms don't really have WiFi but the group dining area has. Not the fastest in the world but totally good enough for basic browsing for entertainment. There wasn't really hot water for shower. There was plenty of water though just no hot water for shower. But it's in the desert so I kinda expected that, so wasn't really a big issue for me.

- Rmiqui (10/5): Exceptional - Saleem welcomed us in the parking lot, where a pick-up would pick us up and take us back to the camp. Later on, we were warmly greeted by Mohamed. I have nothing to complain about; they showed us how to prepare food, and we ate well. Afterward, we gathered around the fire, listening to classical music. I highly recommend it. The tents can be cold during cold periods, but this is normal, and there's nothing they can do about it.

Communication was great and organization of transfer from/to the village and excursions easy. Contrary to what we read from other camps the transfers are included and we were not pushed to book any tours but ended up doing two which were great. Food choice is limited but great. I‘d stay here again! Nothing really, but if minor improvements could be done concerning the private bathroom: light is dark and shower curtains would prevent from bathroom being flooded after showering.

In our 7 days trip to Jordan, our stay at Wadirum Quiet Village Camp was the definitive highlight. From the very beginning, Saleem and his team made us feel welcomed and confortable. We met guests from all over the world and had a great time. We enjoyed a variety of activities, including camel riding at sunset, a Jeep Tour (I highly recommend the full-day tour) to enjoy the sights, quiet evenings under the stars with complimentary sweet tea and bedouin live music. Payments are cash only and all the activities mentioned are very affordable. The camp is clean, confortable and very secure. Chef Ali is a superstar and I highly recommend the Zarb, which is served in the evening. Muhammad drove us for the Jeep Tour and was a fantastic guide. In fact, it was a privilege to cook lunch together and learn more about life at Wadirum. Ousmane expertly lead the camel riding and was very kind and patient with us. Saleem made sure everything ran smoothly and more importantly, ensured that we didn’t miss our flight back to Canada by organizing a drop-off at 2:30 AM ! Ahed kindly drove us fat the Park so we could catch our ride back to the airport. We couldn’t be more grateful. My heartfelt thanks to Salem and the entire team for your hospitality and kindness. We would be happy to stay at the camp again in the future. Best wishes !

I canceled two luxury bubble camps and I am glad that I followed my feeling to stay at Wadi Rum Quiet Village. It was quiet, peaceful, clean, and the food was amazing. Friends of mine stayed at a luxury bubble and they did not like it and wished they would have come to my camp. They said it was loud and very commercial. As I sat under the stars with tea and live, local music from one of the staff. What a great location, next to one of the most beautiful rock massifs. I stayed two nights and would come back again. I was there when it was very hot so the tent at night was warm for me. It did eventually cool off. The windows gave some ventilation and it was better yet when I opened the door.
- Sara (7/5): Genuine Bedouin camp in the desert - Great location in the desert with authentic Bedouins managing the camp! We set the arrival time and they picked us up and took us to the camp. Our car stayed in the camp's private parking. The organisational aspects were very good. Also, we booked a full day jeep tour and could see all the main spots in the desert - a must do! The breakfast was very basic with little options and the dinner, even though tasty, was always the same menu. We booked a room with a private bathroom however had no hot water on the first night since for the private bathrooms they use solar panels and was cloudy during the day. Further, once there is a bit of wind we could hear a constant banging noise coming from the metal sheets of the roof of the tent.

- Brian (8/5): Very nice stay in Wadi Rum - Very nice camp just outside the village. Management gives easy directions as we drove to the camp. Location provides good shade to keep things cool relative to other camps. Nice Bedouin dinner and tour the next day. Staff was very accommodating. Be sure to have cash with you as they don’t take credit cards. The tents can be very warm at night if you are not used to it.

- Ricardo (9/5): Unforgettable experience! Recommended! - Staying in a bedouin tent in the desert is an unforgettable experience. Obviously it doesn't have the same comfort and amenities as a hotel, but that's part of the fun and the whole experience. It felt decent, totally appropriate to the location and it will not be at all uncomfortable for people who are not very demanding or used to luxuries. All staff members were very kind and friendly. The food is good and it is interesting to see how the bedouins make the "zarb", which is explained to the guests of the camp. We really enjoyed lying on the floor relaxing and listening to live bedouin music, while looking at the stars. The desert is a perfect place to do this. We strongly recommend a jeep tour, preferably all day (until sunset). We think that the conditions in the shared bathrooms could be improved. A small renovation would be a plus for the guests.

- Dirk (10/5): Wadi Rum is a must see and even with more than 150 camps around you almost feel alone in the desert. The place has a fan - This is the perfect location for a 2-3 days stay. The desert tour organized by the camp was great as the tour was starting with spots that are at the end of the regular tours. So at least in the beginning we were more or less alone with no other cars around. Accommodation was as expected. The team is very well organized. We booked the camp in the morning and got picked up in Wadi Rum Village at the owners private parking so we did not worry about our car. We enjoyed the food and evening gatherings at the fireplace a lot.
- Jakub (10/5): Exceptional - The camp has a perfect central location. If you visit Wadi Rum in colder months you can explore many interesting places on foot without a need of booking a tour / jeep. The staff will gladly help you with your itinery regardless of the nature of your plans. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. If you are a shesha (water pipe) aficionado you can enjoy one for 5 JD. As for tents, those are spatious with confortable beds and mattresses. Everything was clean. The camps run by Saleem is very well organized and the communication regarding the pickup from the village is very precise and effective. To sum it up, I definitively recommend this camp ! The only thing that spoils the unearthly beaty of the place is an omnipresent plastic garbage. Although the camp itself is clean, the litter is a general Wadi Rum's issue.

The staffs are all nice and can speak arabic and english so easier for us to communicate. The shared toilets are clean. The rooms are all nice. Have ur own private parking so worry not about ur car. - Kv (10/5): An excellent stay in a well-run camp. - I stayed in one of the family rooms with a private shower, it was large with a room with the essentials to make your stay in the wadi comfortable and memorable. The staff were helpful and friendly, they were able to pick up us from Wadi Rum Visitor Centre even though we arrived at 11 pm, three hours later than scheduled. We booked a four-hour tour and camel ride at sunrise the guides were friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend staying there. There was nothing to dislike.

- Miroslav (10/5): Unforgettable experience. - Quite Village Camp is in a great location, not far from the central car park but within walking distance of many interesting photo spots such as Sand Dune, Little Bridge or Khazali Canyon. You can visit them even without a jeep. We had the option of a De Luxe Tent with a private bathroom and it was worth booking. Every evening you can stay in the central room by the fireplace and listen to authentic local Bedouin live music. The food was delicious and fresh. The day trip organized by Quite Village Camp was an unforgettable experience. We prepared a hot meal ourselves in the middle of the desert and saw the most beautiful places of the Wadi room.
