• Sally (9/5): Wonderful stay - The location worked out very well for our stay. Our tours were able to park close to the front door of the hotel. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food in the Grazie restaurant was delicious. Breakfast had a wide variety of options to choose from. We had a problem with our TV the final night of our stay. They sent help the next morning to assess the situation. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. Tv on the final night. Reading light was out.

• Donohue (7/5): Beautiful hotel very clean, next time I will book the king room for the bigger bed - Beautiful old style building very quite and really clean, very friendly staff, great location in the heart of the city Accidentally booked a queen room, bed was small and the pillows were hard as a rock woke up with a really sore neck and back the rest of the room was lovely, King room is way better because of the bed

Heating system didn’t work but we were provided a portable heater. Still for the cost I would expect everything working. Rain shower was a bit clogged and some nozzles sprayed in random directions.
• Tracey (7/5): Overall cleanliness was exceptional and staff were fantastic, unfortunately a terrible nights sleep. - The hotel is really handy to the TSB Arena, the main reason for choosing this hotel for the second time, and restaurants etc nearby with good shopping on Lambton Quay. Easy to find coming off the motorway. Breakfast was included and it was lovely. Sadly, this is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, in different rooms both times, and the beds were not comfortable.

• Hayila91 (10/5): Fantastic stay with outstanding service, just tricky arrival - The staff were absolutely phenomenal from the moment we checked in, some of the best service we’ve experienced anywhere. The breakfast (including restaurant staff) was excellent, and the kids loved it. The room was very large, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The bathroom and bedroom were both modern and well-appointed, with a very comfortable bed and great pillows. The location was fantastic, an easy walk to Te Papa, close to a playground (about 7 minutes), and very convenient for essentials like Woolworths and a chemist. Overall, the amenities and service made for a really enjoyable stay, and we would definitely stay again. Arrival and parking were quite stressful, especially as the hotel doesn’t have a clear street-facing entrance. Access via Gray Street was confusing, with only a few small parking bays available. We arrived on the same day as a rugby game, which made parking in Wellington extremely chaotic. It would have been very helpful to receive clearer, direct instructions about where to park prior to arrival, particularly for first-time visitors driving in the city. (Noting an email with instructions may have hit my spam so not deducting stars for this :) )

• Sara (10/5): Warm greetings like home and right fit of Wellington. - Location, room, floor, service, staff kindness, and the overall check-in and check-out process were all excellent—everything was smooth and seamless. The check-in process took less than three minutes, which was impressive. The location was ideal, right next to the Clifton cable car. The twin beds were perfectly comfortable, and the room was clean and tidy. The housekeeping team was attentive and genuinely cared about our requests. During check-in, we received a warm welcome along with some lovely treats, which made it feel like coming home. After a long flight and several transport connections, I unfortunately can’t recall the name of the staff member who checked us in, but she truly exemplified outstanding hospitality. Breakfast service was highly professional, with staff offering assistance promptly, even before we needed to ask. Check-out was just as smooth. It was sad to leave, but this is a stay we will definitely remember, and we look forward to returning. Ngā mihi nui. Ka kite anō. Breakfast buffet menu felt limited.

• Lily (9/5): A lovely stay, that was very convenient for our family. - Everything was great. Very easy with 2 kids. The only thing we would suggest is offering 4x cups for the double queen room. The offering was everything in threes, and there were 4 of us.

• Craig (10/5): I think the property is great and as a repeat customer I rate it highly. - The central location is great and having stayed here many times, I find the staff exceptional. The breakfast was not a true Hilton experience. The restaurant is very small and as it was busy, it felt too small and had trouble keeping up with the volume. A high quality continental breakfast would have been better to allow staff the time to focus on service (the people were very friendly by the way, just too busy).

• Len (9/5): A memorable stay in a such a beautiful hotel - Had such a wonderful experience staying here and will definitely return. The hotel is beautiful in it's 1920's old style glamour and our rooms were super comfortable and quiet. The reception staff are so welcoming and helpful. We asked for an early check in and quiet rooms away from the lifts and both of these requests were accommodated. The location is incredible, so close to shopping and the waterfront. Loved it!
