Had a slight issue with an alarm in the room that went off one morning, but the staff were so prompt and quick to compensate us with free breakfast I really can't complain, the team were great

The valet guy, I believe his name was Stacy, was exceptionally friendly and just a really great guy. The breakfast was good. And I loved the shower! Great water pressure! Loved sitting out on the terrace. Enjoyed being out there at night overlooking the city. The bathroom didn’t have an exhaust fan. The bathroom got too steamy and warm and I didn’t even have the water real hot. Sweated while I applying lotion afterwards. Also, an outdoor pool would have been nice.

And the staff was great The master light switch controlled all the lights in the room, so we didn’t know how to turn on the light for the bathroom in the middle of the night without turning all the lights on

- volcanogirl (10/5): Comfortable Rooms and Love the Location - We enjoyed staying at this hotel; this was our second time staying here, and we would happily return. Since we're Hilton Honors members, we received a nice little gift bag at check-in that had delicious shortbread cookies from a nearby bakery and two bottles of water; we really appreciated that. Our room had a very comfortable king-sized bed, large flat-screen t.v., coffee maker, desk, a nice sitting area, and a refrigerated drawer where we could store cold drinks. No closet, but there was a rack where we could hang our clothes. The hotel has lots of nice touches like infused water in the lobby, ice and water dispensers on every floor, refillable carafes, and a beautiful rooftop bar with a view of the downtown skyline. The neighborhood is walkable and felt very safe; there's also a free trolley stop out front and a DART rail line close by. We requested a bathtub like we had last time and a downtown view but didn't receive either of those things which was fine, but they would have been nice to have. Housekeeping was great, and the valet service was speedy and very personable. Looking forward to our next trip and would definitely stay here again in the future.
- samantha064 (8/5): amazing views - Beautiful hotel in the best area in uptown, beautiful shops within walking distance. comfortable beds, hotel and rooms immaculate. the rooftop bar is amazing with the best views of the dallas skyline. one issue, two big dogs were allowed to sit on the sofas on the terrace, whilst I adore dogs I don't appreciate them being allowed to sit on furniture that guests have to sit on.

- MJS0337 (8/5): Great location, but noisy room - The entire staff from valet to front desk to housekeeping were fantastic. I especially enjoyed my daily chats with Stacey. Unfortunately, we were in an adjoining room and we could hear the people in the room next to us as if they were sitting in our room. I think you'll be fine as long as you do not get an adjoining room. I didn't hear anything from the room on the other side of us. Freeride could also use some improvement. There wasn't always staff around so you had to wait for someone to place an order. This hotel is in a great location and I would stay here again.

- CATrvl08 (10/5): Nice stay, great hotel, excellent front desk and manager - I checked in on my birthday and the lovely ladies at the front desk and managing the hotel sent up a slice of birthday cake. It was so kind as I was staying close to my office for some meetings the next day. I had everything I needed during my stay: they left bottles of water in the room, there were also a few bottles available for purchase in my room. They also stock your room with a glass water bottle and glasses and you can refill them in the hallway. Your room has a mini fridge and there is plenty of space for your clothing and toiletries. The valet took good care of my car. I did not order any food. Great stay I would consider staying here again.

Hotel is very clean, comfy beds, lots of little details from great water stations on floors to cookies at check in, but the valet guy, Stacy always greats us with a smile and treats us like royalty (lol) Great staff here ! Highly recommend

Our room was wonderful and we especially liked being able to close the door in between the large bathroom/entry to the bedroom since one of us had to get up early. Lots of space to get ready. The parking situation isn’t great unless you want to do valet parking. You can park on the street, but there are restaurants and workout facilities that are busy with their own patrons. Beautiful safe area though…

- 288peytonu (10/5): Shoutout bartender Chelsea!!! - We love the canopy so much! Great atmosphere and the rooftop bar is amazing. Chelsea is the best bartender and all of the staff is wonderful. Beds and pillows are very comfortable as well.

The stand out of this property is the valet attendant Stacy. He is an a gem! Our car was always there when we needed It always helped with luggage, parcels etc!

- Marisol (10/5): - We were in town to visit friends. This hotel was an 8 minute walk from their condo, so very convenient. It is a lovely space and we would definitely stay here again when we come back for a visit.

Could wish more welcomeness and convenience from the surroundings since it really is uptown Dallas. Breakfast setup was a pity because though it shows Breakfast Included on my booking, the servant asked for some sort of coupon so we could use breakfast and we ended up skipping. WiFi connection is also fenced by some confusing pay walls although simple steps to connection is already available to many similar hotels around US.

The room was average, I could hear every single sound and word from the person in the room next door, hotel bar packed and breakfast on Sunday was over before 10am. No other options but to go somewhere off site. For the amount of money, definite not worth it.

- volcanogirl (10/5): A Charming Hotel in the Beautiful Uptown Area - We loved staying at the Canopy by Hilton in Dallas. It's in the beautiful Uptown area that felt safe and had lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Since we're Hilton Honors members, they gave us a a thoughtful welcome bag that had treats from a nearby bakery and bottles of water. Our corner room was very nice with a comfortable king-sized bed, a sitting area, nice desk, a coffee maker, a cool refrigerated drawer, and a large flat screen t.v. It felt like a charming little apartment. I liked that our bathroom had a bathtub since those are getting harder to find these days. The valet service was excellent and very personable. Housekeeping was great, and the entire hotel was very clean. It is in the flight path for Love Field, so you do hear airplanes going overhead, but it didn't bother us. The lobby is modern and has a trolley theme; there's a free trolley that stops right in front of the hotel. There's also a really beautiful rooftop bar that has a gorgeous view of the Dallas skyline. We appreciated the infused ice water in the lobby since it was hot when we were there. The only thing we didn't like was their strongly scented bath products. They were "charcoal" scented and smelled like someone set a Christmas tree on fire; they don't provide bar soap, just shower gel, etc. We asked for soap and were told they don't provide that, so if you're not a fan of strong masculine scents, you may want to bring your own. Otherwise thumbs up from us for this hotel, and we would love to return in the future.

- brentg571 (2/5): Billing issue and poor customer service - Beware of billing issues. I stayed at this hotel and booked with points as a Diamond member. After checkout I received my statement and they charged my points as well as charged my credit card for an upgraded room while my booking shows a standard room was booked. After multiple attempts talking to the front desk, they couldn't resolve the problem. I had to get HH customer service involved. They acknowledged the issue but hotel management continues to be confused. I had to call and have a fraudulent claim reported on my credit card. You can't trust the management at this hotel.
- Laura (10/5): Pretty perfect weekend! - We were in town to catch a play at the Wyly Theater & visit family over Easter. This is our 2nd time to stay at this hotel & it was pretty perfect. Parking is limited so valet is pretty much the only option but the parking attendant was pleasant & jovial. We loved the view from the rooftop bar of the Dallas skyline, but the bar is not open every day, so check availability. The rooms were wonderful with a Hugh tv. Great size, bathroom setup, small fridge, etc. The view of the rooftop & its a/c units was a disappointment, but it is the well located Uptown neighborhood with lots of high rises buildings. Breakfast was an unexpected surprise with a delicious omelet & coffee delivered in quick time. We’ll be back!

- Surf4fun21 (8/5): I Believe In Second Chances, So I'll be back - My arrival at the Canopy by Hilton Dallas Uptown was initially rocky. Despite being dropped off at the valet stand, no attendant or doorperson was present to assist with luggage or directions to the lobby. Navigating on crutches post-surgery, I eventually found a side entrance. Fortunately, Margaret at the front desk quickly intervened and resolved the situation. While the hotel's location in a pleasant part of Dallas near Turtle Creek was convenient, and the room and amenities were satisfactory, some aspects fell short. The exclusive use of QR codes for menus was inconvenient, and a failed attempt to order lunch from the hotels restaurant "Free Ride" was disappointing, no one answered the phone and a voice recording stated that I needed to leave my name and room number for a call back – receiving no callback after leaving a message – was disappointing. Ultimately, Margaret's exceptional service was the standout positive of our stay.
