The price! We definitely overpaid since we booked the room so far out. When checking out, I told them about it, they just apologized and said we are in the process of replacing the units in the room.

No continental breakfast on the second day due to the water being shut off. The pool was out of order two days because they needed chemicals. We stayed three nights, spent five hundred dollars and it was awful.

• S8725QRemilyr (10/5): Family Friendly, Wonderful Indoor Pool! - We have never stayed at a Hampton Inn before, but we plan to use them again because of this wonderful experience. Kaylee was so kind and welcoming when we arrived on Friday evening after a 9-hour drive from Ohio. She got us ice cold bottled water and checked us in quickly. The indoor pool was fantastic and we used it both days to help our youngest son, who is autistic and loves water to help him regulate. The pool had plenty of clean towels, pool noodles, and even a child’s life vest which we used both days. The hotel was quiet and we slept well. Our room was clean and well-stocked. The housekeeping crew worked so quickly and kept our room tidy and fresh. It was a wonderful place to stay this weekend while visiting with family. We are so grateful for a nice stay!

• S6511HMchrisr (6/5): Weekend stay - We were in town for a family gathering and chose this hotel because we like the Hampton inns. The hotel is relatively new like 4-5 years old. The room was clean and that was good. The breakfest both mornings was not great. Food had been sitting, something not right with oatmeal and juice machines were not setup right. The biggest disappointment was the pool. It was clean but so cold it was unusable. This was a big bummer with the kids. We had to park in the back and the back door lock was not working so had to walk around the building which was inconvenient. Was kind of expensive for Kirksville and what you get. The cleaning service ladies were very nice which is unusual at hotels.

• Lori (6/5): - The first reservation I was over charged. And I’m not getting all my money back. I’m still working that This stay I was disappointed x. Pool was ice cold. No one did anything about it until the morning of putt check out. I complained Friday night2/28 and Saturday morning and Saturday night. Then I was told couldn’t get to it til Monday. The fitted sheet didn’t fit. It kept sliding off. I had to ask for another sheet. The sliding door kept getting caught and we couldn’t open it from bathroom side. If there was a fire!!!!!!! The snacks were minimal. No regular coke. The carpet in our room wasn’t vacuumed very well. Now this all on top of me being over charged. 😡. We’ve always stayed her when we come to visit family. This was our last timev we’ll stay at this hotel.

• N7574VTmarlenea (8/5): Family visit - This is one of the hotels I choose when I stay in Kirksville It’s on the Northern end of town easy access and near a lot of stores and restaurants I like location , price and comfort It’s clean and serves a great breakfast and I highly would recommend .

I gave them to the front desk and all they said was thank you. Really that’s it way to diffuse a possible lawsuit. And a note for Tesla owners: only one charger of the two functions. I would hope the hotel addresses that soon and considers adding more chargers since there are very few options within 90 miles of Kirksville.

• Celia (10/5): - Bed , pillows, and room temperature are very comfortable. We slept so good . Staff were friendly and attentive. Location is very good. Near restaurants, grocery and even the Thousand hills state park. We’ll be back again to stay here in the future. 😊

• Lewis (6/5): - Our room was against the ice machine and we could hear it making ice through the wall of our room and kept us from sleeping. Very annoying. The pool bottom had stains and looked gross. Otherwise everything else was great.
• luraet (8/5): BIG BANG - Nice large room right across from Exercise room. The hot breakfast was very good (as usual). Only complaints: pool was cold & filthy dirty; & my door had a broken hinge, which caused it to slam shut (and it was loud). Apologies neighbors. Issue was reported.

• T. LuRae (8/5): POORLY KEPT POOL - Nice large room & hot breakfast were on par for the Hampton. However, the corners of the shower needs scrubbing & the pool was cold & dirty, and door to room had a hinge broken (it was reported).
