- hardy.a (8/5): Okay stay for exploring Iceland - 201 Hotel is a solid, no-frills option if you need a clean and comfortable place to sleep while exploring Iceland. Accommodation prices in Iceland can feel very inflated compared to Asian or American standards, so for the price, this hotel gives you the basics you need without overpromising. The room was clean and comfortable, which is the most important thing for me. I also appreciated that breakfast was included, and the robot coffee machine was a fun bonus for making specialty drinks. The breakfast was actually one of the highlights of the stay. The location is not very close to downtown Reykjavik, so having a car is definitely recommended. Overall, it is a practical choice for a quick stay, especially if you are mainly using the hotel as a place to rest between activities. Do not expect luxury or many amenities. The hotel provides the bare minimum, which is fine for a short stay, but it may feel limited if you are looking for a more elevated hotel experience. The lighting in the room could be better, and there was not enough furniture or storage space to comfortably place bags or organize clothes. A luggage rack, extra shelf, or small closet area would make the room much more functional.

Mér finnst atriði að hægt sé að tala íslensku á hóteli á Íslandi. Sturtan leiðinleg. Sturtuhaus of lítill og vatn rennur út um allt gólf á baðherberginu. Þetta er ekki bundið við ykkar hótel. Mér finnst flest hótel klúðra sturtunum.

- Sandra (9/5): Sehr weiterzuempfehlen! - Da wir einen frühen Flug hatten, hat jeder von uns eine Frühstückstüte bekommen. Das fanden wir sehr nett. Wir haben allerdings danach gefragt, weil das Personal natürlich unsere Abflugszeit nicht kannte. Das Hotel liegt nicht weit von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten entfernt. Die Zimmer waren groß und gemütlich. Vielen Dank für Alles! Da wir zwei Zimmer hatten, hätten wir uns gewünscht, dass diese näher beieinander gelegen wären. Es gibt bei der Dusche nach vorne keinen Vorhang oder Türe. So kann man leider schnell das Badezimmer fluten.

Teljesen sötétített nem lehetett a szobát ( május lévén sokáig világos volt illetve hajnalban korán világosodott).

We almost forgot a jacket in the lobby, and the gentleman at the desk came running to the taxi with it. The room heating was good. Would have liked tea and coffee sachets in the room. Some more variety for breakfast would have been good. Some personal touch in the breakfast room would have been even better.
