• Melissa (6/5): Als Einzelzimmer für ein paar Tage gut, sonst sehr anstrengend - Zentrale Lage, wenn man viel zu Fuß unterwegs ist Viele Leute wohnen dauerhaft dort, was den Vibe irgendwie sehr seltsam gemacht hat (sehr exklusive Gruppenbildung). Die Flure sind sehr hellhörig und die Luft war schlecht.

Nice pool/garden area. Great location. In the double room they only give one duvet for the bottom bunk but not the top. Nowhere to put dry/fresh clothes for when you shower.

• Brendan (3/5): - Friendly people I slipped over and broke my arm I went to hospital and when I got back my bed was taken and I couldn't be on the top bunk and I wasn't given a refund and I had nowhere to sleep so then I slept at the church and have been since.

• João (10/5): Exceeded my expectations - I’m not usually a hostel person, I tend to really value my personal space and tend to avoid shared environments when I travel. But this place completely changed my perspective and honestly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. The staff and other guests created such a genuine sense of friendliness that it never felt overwhelming or forced, just natural and easy. What really surprised me was how effortlessly a sense of community formed. Whether it was casual chats in the common areas or shared recommendations about the city, it felt like one of those rare places where connecting with others happens organically. I stayed in a private room, and that made all the difference for me. It was clean, quiet, and far more comfortable than I expected from a hostel. I still had the personal space I usually look for, but with the added bonus of being part of a social, lively environment when I wanted it. It struck a perfect balance. The location was also a really positive point, just near Brisbane CBD, with plenty of attractions, cafes, and things to explore within easy reach. It made getting around the city simple and enjoyable, whether I was out sightseeing or just going for a walk. Overall, this stay genuinely shifted my opinion on hostels. If you’re someone like me who typically avoids them but is open to being pleasantly surprised, this place is absolutely worth it.

• 이 (4/5): someone removed the food - The shared facilities were clean and nice I stayed for one week and extended for another week, but someone removed the food I had left in the room. It was packaged ramen, so it would not spoil or attract cockroaches. I asked reception, but they said it was not in their storage area. Later, I asked a housekeeper separately, and he found it for me, but some items were missing and some of the packaging had been opened. I had kept everything in a paper bag, but the bag was gone as well, and I only received some of the food that had originally been there. Before I came here, my friends bought and collected the kinds I like for me, and now I cannot even eat them. Even if it was for the cleanliness of the room, all of my ramens were fully packaged and kept inside a bag. If they were going to remove them, they should have at least stored everything properly in its original condition.

• JAVIER (1/5): - Worst place I’ve ever stayed—I do not recommend it. To start, the advertised address is incorrect. The place feels more like a party hostel, with people drinking and smoking all day and night. The average age seems to be mostly in their 20s which contributes to the party atmosphere. The noise throughout the night is terrible and makes it very hard to rest. I paid $150 per night, which is not cheap for this kind of accommodation, and it is very unfair not being able to get proper sleep.

• Marie (5/5): Rapport qualité/prix plus que limité en vue des équipements de l’établissement (le minimum serait l’électricité aux - La piscine, le grand espace extérieur, cuisine bien équipée Logement plus que basique : lits dans une chambre. Aucun effort pour le confort n’est fait : pas d’électricité au niveau du lit, pas de rebord ou poser ses affaires pour les lits supérieurs, pas de locker, seulement un porte manteau dans les douches…rien à manger au niveau du bar (ils disent qu’il y a des toasts mais à 19h il n’y a plus rien). Leurs seules propositions de locker est payante dans les parties communes (8$/24h pour un moyen)

A little rowdy, definitely a bit of a party hostel but can’t complain too much with shared accommodation. The bathrooms for the private rooms were mixed gender, not a massive deal breaker but a little uncomfortable showering or using the sinks.

• Ellen (6/5): Man får det man betalar för! - Det var bra läge på boendet, nära coles och till city. Badrummen kändes ohygieniska, såg flera kackerlackor vid olika tillfällen. Hade önskat att det fanns krokar och hyllor i duschrummen då man inte hade nånstans att lägga sina saker förutom på golvet vilket man inte ville göra efter att ha sett kackerlackor. Det var också väldigt små rum, inga gardiner för sängarna och bagagen tog upp mycket plats så det var svårt att röra sig i rummen.

• Corinne (6/5): Very disapointing - It was close with most things Its smell like foot, there is no air conditionning like the booking said, the staff doesnt enforce the "quite hours" so be ready to hear every person scream at every hours of the night while they also slam their doors.
• Vera (2/5): I don’t know why it has such good review, ugliest rooms i have ever seen ( i was also upgraded to a double room SO EXPEN - Staff was nice especially Maria, some other seem a bit fake. Noisy, couldnt sleep much at all, view was not as good at the picture due to worksites.
• Lucia (8/5): Overall good but some improvements could make it better - Great location nearby everything (Roma street station including trains to/from airport; CBD; river and parks, museums, malls/groceries). Big kitchen and common areas. Enough toilets/showers. Luggage storage service very easy and for free. Good staff and great communication at all times via WhatsApp. Ideal to meet other people both travellers and on working visas. Swimming pool is more of a bathtub and not very clean. People talk and shout all night long (really all night long) in the corridors of the rooms instead of doing so in the common areas (so difficult to get a decent sleep). The whole structure would need a refresh, it starts to be rundown - price is high compared to what you get in other similar hostels elsewhere in Australia. Please note that there is a huge building under construction so it’s very noisy during the day especially outside in the common areas (but the issue affects all hostels in the same area - and of course it doesn’t depend on the hostel!).

• Anke (2/5): - Dont know Very loud and no Space at all that you had the Chance to just be, phone read or anything. To packed with people, most Young doing traveling holidays. The upper beds had no own lamps and no own possibility to charge a phone. That was very stupid situation i stayed 3 Nights in two different room but felt like never had any Chance to have the down bed cause of the working holiday people staying there longterm and no Space for my stuff eigher. If I would have knows this before, I would have definitly stayed somewere else. Actually was hard to find any sleep there the last night cause also the Doors bang really loud.

Kitchen was chaotic and could’ve been cleaner - so many people trying to cook at the same time, even at off peak times of the day! Laundry was fine but had to hang up wet clothes in an alley without loads of space - someone threw quite a few of my wet clothes off the line too and so had to rewash them as the ground was super dirty. No soap in the bathroom for a few days and had to remind staff a few times to please replace it!

• Jonathan (4/5): Décevant - J’ai beaucoup aimé la situation géographique de l’établissement. Le dortoir empestait une odeur lourde et rance, mélange de pieds, de linge humide et de restes oubliés. Le sol, à peine visible, était jonché de détritus, tandis que des chaussettes sales pendaient des lits ou s’entassaient dans les coins. L’air, épais et fatigué, semblait conserver la mémoire de nuits sans aération et de matins sans ménage.

• Jade (2/5): - Présence de cafard dans la chambre, beaucoup de bruits dans les couloirs, une seule prise voir 2 pour toute la chambre qui parfois avec la taille des adaptateurs fait qu'on ne peut pas tous charger son téléphone. Frigo blindé donc pour un nouvel arrivant on se demande où mettre notre nourriture. Si je retourne à Brisbane cet hostel ne sera pas mon premier choix 😅
