Curtains need washing and grout around shower needs to be redone to remove mold and mildew. Overall rating is 4 stars based on price and good location.
• Alexis (6/5): - Horrible layout of the rooms.. the toilet is in the shower?? So the toilet/surrounding area gets wet every time someone showers. No room to open your luggages. Windows are extremely thin, you hear every car and bike driving by at night. Safe is pretty much on the ground under the night table so you need to get on your hands and knees every time you need something. No laundry in hotel Beds were comfy Hotel reception staff very kind Breakfast was pretty good
• Ralf (4/5): - Wir hatten das „Deluxe“ Zimmer ohne Balkon neben dem Fahrtstuhlschacht. Das Zimmer liegt zur Hauptstraße und die Fenster lassen den ohrenbetäubenden Lärm ungebremst ins Zimmer. Wir konnten daher nicht schlafen. Der Fahrstuhl macht dazu laute Geräusche die man ebenfalls im Zimmer hört. Die Toilette ist in der Duschkabine. Kein Kleiderschrank. Das Wasser im Pool (auf dem Dach) war leider zu kalt, so dass wir den Strand bevorzugt haben. Vor dem Fenster im Zimmer sind Betongitter, so dass wir uns wie im Gefängnis gefühlt haben. Die drei Mitarbeiterinnen am Frühstücksbuffet haben leider nicht mit uns gesprochen und auch nicht gegrüßt oder uns verabschiedet. Hier fehlte das Lächeln was wir von anderen Hotels kennen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war aber sehr gut.
• Michael (8/5): - Overall very good, had a problem with AC and they fixed it right away. The breakfast was very good. The only negative was the mattress was hard and lumpy, definitely needs replacement.

• Jonathan (10/5): - The best hotel in Kamala. Smack bang in the centre. Everything you will need/want is walking distance. The rooms are great, clean and quiet. The cleaning staff are amazing, cleaning everyday and doing a great job. All the receptionists were of great help anytime you needed them. Highly recommend, A . Will return again soon.

• Shannon (10/5): A very restorative stay - Travelling internationally during covid was daunting, but the staff at Kamala Resotel were so helpful from the moment I made my booking until after I checked out. The hotel itself is in a great spot. The pool is blissful and the breakfast buffet had plenty of yummy options to choose from.

• Geoffrey (10/5): Great little Hotel - Smaller Hotel with great family atmosphere and the staff very knowledgeable about the Sandbox procedures. Excellent location in the heart of Kamala very close to bars,,restaurants and beach. Good value for money and we’d happily stay again. Scooter rental and laundry service next door along with 711 across the street.
• David (10/5): - A good, clean, friendly hotel. Staff were always welcoming and close to all amenities, bars and the beach.
• Aki (10/5): - First, the room and linen were clearn and the staffs made my room tidy every day. The breakfast was mixed with Thaifood and normal breakfast menu. This accomodation is pretty close to the beach and I could get there by little walking. The most great thing was kindness and hospitality of the staffs, who met my needs promptly. It was extremely comfortable staying, and if I visit Phuket again, I will stay in this hotel.

• Robert (10/5): Great Hotel! - The staff here is great and the room was perfect with the kitchen and patio. The infinity pool is perfect as there was not alot of guest all the times I have been there. Breakfast with the room is ok but other facilities are near by if you need more. My favorite is Lafayette Bakery. Check it out. Make sure you have your card access key if you go out at night. You will need it to get back into the hotel after hours as the front desk closes around 10-11 pm

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Lovely room, everything else was just ok. Nice rooftop pool but not enough shade available, lovely at the end of the day when it was cooler. Unfortunately there was an awful smell around the pool and the breakfast area, it would have been really nice if they had have put some oil burners around the area! The staff at breakfast were not very friendly at all! Breakfast was just ok, the coffee was not very nice at all, it tasted really stewed!! Overall, room was good but I would not stay there again

• hans-werner (8/5): Gutes neues Boutique Hotel - Kleines gutes Hotel, große Zimmer, Aufzug, Dachpool und Frühstücken auf der Terrasse. Alles in kamala fussläufig erreichbar. Einziges Manko, die Lage fast an der Durchgangsstraße mit Ampelanlage. Daher nur Zimmer zur Meerseite/Garten zu empfehlen.
• Michael (10/5): Voloume for Money - Hyggeligt hotel og venlig personale hotellet er ca 15 mdr gammel pool på taget med solterrasse og solvogne her indtages morgenbuffeten også hvor der er udsigt udover byen , helt igennem et hotel jeg kan anbefale , ligger i gå afstand til det hele kan anbefale restauranten på hotellet Moonbar og restaurant

• Verified traveler (4/5): - Wir hatten ein grosses Zimmer mit separatem Raum mit separatem WC, Dusche, Lavabo und Ankleide. Aber leider ohne Kleiderschrank. Leider wurde unser Badezimmer erst am 4. Tag richtig gereinigt! Einmal hatten wir morgens kein WC-Papier mehr, weil uns keine Ersatzrolle gegeben wurde und als wir Abends zurück kamen, hatten wir immer noch kein WC-Papier! Das Sofa, wie auch die Zierkissen wiesen irgend welche Flecken auf. So auch leider die Bettwäsche, auch wenn frisch bezogen, wie auch die Hand- und Duschtücher! Der Safe war unter dem Nachttisch. Man musste sich auf den Boden legen, um ihn öffnen zu können! Die Frühstücksspeisen, welche warm hätten sein sollen, waren leider bereits schon um 9 Uhr kalt. Dafür war die Butter regelmässig flüssig, weil sie nicht mit Eis gekühlt wurde. Der Pool war soweit ok, das Wasser jedoch sehr chlorhaltig. Ich weiss nicht, ob es einen Frischwasseraustausch gab, ich konnte jedenfalls keinen ausmachen. Die Leute von der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor allem die Frau, die tagsüber da war. Das Frühstückspersonal war leider sehr unterschiedlich. Die einen uninteressiert und unaufmerksam, die anderen (an unserem letzten Morgen) sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Alles in allem wäre das Hotel soweit ok, wenn es einiges günstiger wäre. Aber für 4 Sterne und den Preis stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Da muss noch einiges verbessert werden oder das Preisniveau nach unten angepasst werden.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - This was our first time in Thailand/Phuket and we could not have asked for a more pleasant place to stay or more gracious host. They arranged transfers to and from the hotel for us, let us check in at 9am when we arrived and waived the fee when we broke one of their coffee cups. It’s an easy walk from the beach/main part of Kamala but on a quieter street with lots of good restaurants within a few hundred metres. The hotel itself is very new, clean and comfortable. Would very highly recommend!

Aamupala on runsas ja tarjolla mm. paljon tuoreita hedelmiä. Alakerrassa kohtuuhintainen ravintola. Toimiva ilmastointi, joka oli tarpeen. Short walk to the beach. Small, clean and modern hotel. Own pool in the rooftop! Suitable especially for adults. Good selection of different foods and fruits in breakfast. A restaurant in first floor with good prices. The aircondition worked very well which is necessary in such high temperatures.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Decent place for short stay. - Service is good. Staff made me feel welcome. It is kind of weird to have ‘concrete’ flooring and the floor felt wet/ sticky. Has to wear slippers through which they provided. Overall a decent place to stay, the pool is worth going too.

• Heidi (4/5): Inte genomtänkta rum. - Hade det dyraste rummet. Men tyvärr så var sängarna som cement. Öppen planlösning, så det fanns ingen toa dörr. Snyggt rum,,, men nej. Man vill inte ha toan i samma rum som kök o sovrum. Inte renbäddat en enda gång på 15 dagar. Frukosten var bedrövlig. Ibland var det slut på omelett mm men 2-3 stk från personalen satt alltid intill maten och åt. Reception personalen jättebra.
• Duke (8/5): - The roof top pool and restaurant is the best thing for this hotel. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Lee. The room we stay in is smaller than expected. The hotel is quite new so it is very clean and comfortable.
• Gunilla (8/5): Nytt och fräscht hotell - Vi kan varmt rekommendera en bra restaurang (Bush Garden) lite längre ned på gatan. Maten var väldigt bra och personalen var trevlig.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Neues, stylisches Hotel in Strandnähe - Wir waren vom ersten Moment von dem Hotel begeistert. Besonders die Freundlichkeit und der Service des Hotels ist hervorzuheben. Im Rooftop Pool kann man toll entspannen. Zum Strand sind es zu Fuß nur 5 Minuten. Auch konnten wir dort sehr günstig die Roller für unsere Tagestouren mieten. Lediglich die Sauberkeit bekommt einen Punkt Abzug. Aber auch hier war soweit bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten alles in Ordnung.

• guillaume (6/5): Hôtel au calme - Ns avons séjourné du 11 au 14 et y avons passé de douces nuit. Le personnel est très gentil surtout le monsieur et est disponible. Ménage bien fait dans les chambres et serviettes renouvelées quotidiennement et mise a disposition dans la chambre. Location de scooter à proximité de l hôtel La rue piétonne est sympathique le soir. Un unique et majeur inconvénient: - Petit déjeuner vraiment a revoir car il manquait du choix, de la quantité et surtour de la quantité quand on opte pour une chambre avec cet extra ce n est pas pour se prendre la tête a sortir vers 08h du matin pour chercher un lieu où se restaurer...
