• Brittany (1/5): We did not stay here due to the condition of the room. - Nothing When we arrived the couch was dirty covered in sand and stains. There was bugs in the bathroom. There were holes in the bed sheets along with it being super uncomfortable. There was paint peeling off the cabinets very bad and wood lifting off of the coffee table. The communication with the property was terrible and refused to give a refund even though we left 1 hour after check in to get a different hotel.

• Anton (10/5): Like home. - 5 steps from the beach, very spacious, friendly and well responsive staff. Everything you need to a wonderful vacation. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, it was a bit noisy in the common room probably because of the cafe/bar/restaurant above. But it was alright in the rooms.

• Ying Ying (5/5): Ok stay and not worth the price - Great ocean facing views The property is in dire need of a renovation. There’s smell in the toilet, sofa tattered and torn, furniture looks tired.

• Loren (8/5): For the time and location it was a great place. Only problem was staff were hard to fing out of 8 da - The room was nice. We loved the shower room. Wifi was glitchy, and there wasn't anybody to take out the trash or get new trashbags...
• YUKA (10/5): 外国のようなカジュアルな施設 - なんといってもオーシャンビューのロケーションと 高級感のある広々としたお部屋。細かいところまで掃除が行き届いており、子供連れでしたが安心して過ごすことが出来ました。ウォーターサーバーが一台と家庭用の大きめの冷蔵庫がありました。 トイレが故障したからこれから修理に入ると当日にお知らせがあり、不安がありましたがなんとかその晩は普通に使えました。シャワーが詰まり気味で下水の匂いが気になりました。また3部屋中1部屋は体臭が残っていました。

Great acai smoothie bowl place for breakfast round the corner called happy bowls! A proper japaneze feel the the room and clean with a cool bathroom and everything we needed. • Max (3/5): Beware - The location of the property was great We were really excited to stay here because the location near the beach is great, but unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. There is no on-site staff to help with any problems. You’re basically left to message the host and hope someone eventually responds. They only provide one set of towels per person for the entire stay and no beach towels, which is very inconvenient for a beach-area property. The worst issue was cleanliness. When we arrived, there were ants all over the floor. When we messaged the host, we were told ants are “normal” and to use the ant spray under the sink… but it was empty. The next day someone dropped off a can, but the ants kept coming back. At one point we threw some food in the trash and by the next morning there were hundreds if not thousands of ants inside and around the trash can. There is also black mold in every air conditioner and visible mold in the shower and on the windows. It was so bad that I actually ended up getting sick from the air quality. When you shower, the bathroom floods because the shower curtain is too short to keep water in. Parking was also a problem. There’s a restaurant above the rooms and its customers filled the parking lot, leaving us nowhere to park our rental car. We had to track someone down just to move their car so we could get into a space that should’ve been available to guests. Overall, this place has potential due to its location, but it is very dirty, poorly maintained, and completely disorganized. We would not stay here again or recommend it to others unless they make major improvements in cleanliness, staffing, and basic hospitality.

• Shallane (8/5): - Pros: It was the perfect location. Beach was right out the front door, as well as an awesome playground for the kids and a basketball court! Walkable distance to the American village. Could see the fireworks from the front porch every Saturday and Tuesday! The views were great! There was plenty of things to do with in walking distance! Cons: there is a restaurant upstairs so on the weekends it is super busy and extremely loud and you can hear everything going on up there. Makes it hard to sleep with that much noise. There is a big parking lot but it’s the restaurants. They give you one spot to park there but on the weekends if you leave and come back the restaurant is full and you will have no where to park, or the opposite if you want leave you may be blocked in and not be able to which is frustrating. There is no housekeeping. We stayed a month there so we had to go out and buy the essentials. There is no one there to ask a question or get any help. The washing machine was discusting! So in overall it depends on what your needs and wants are.

• 伊藤 (7/5): 最初ビックリ、慣れると快適 - なんといってもロケーション アラハビーチがほぼプライベートビーチになります写真はビーチの眺めとビーチからのホテル(オレンジの屋根) あとスタッフ対応は良かったです。 水回りの設備と臭い ところどころの家具の損傷(結果的には滞在に支障はありませんでしたが、最初不安になりました) 口コミにもある3階までの階段 事前の写真とのギャップが大きくて最初はがっかりしました。駐車場のマップもちょっとわかりにかかったです。通りの名前とか、車の出入りの矢印があると助かります。

There was a staff member there, but he didn't welcome us. The check-in process is all digital/tablet, lots of instructions and not as pleasant as checking into a hotel with friendly, helpful staff.

• Vanda (9/5): Watch the Okinawa sunset from your room! - The location was perfect right at Araha beach! You could see the sunset from the wide windows! It has a really fun pirate playground, safe swimming beach with lifeguard, fishing area. Great base for central and south okinawa. Near Chatan and American village for restaurants, near Ginowan for shopping, the seaside park. Just half hour drive to different parts of Okinawa. The house had everything we need. Laundry, shower amenities, cooking facilities. Very large room and bathroom. Comfortable beds and large tatami area for futons. Host were very responsive to our questions. The entire front is a large window which is great the view but may be too bright in the day. They have black out curtains for that. Walk up apartment on the 2nd floor may pose difficulties for guests with walking problems.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - ロケーションが最高で窓からの景色も素晴らしかったのですが、入ってすぐに床に見落としてしまうようなサイズではないゴミを発見したり、バルコニーに通じたドアの外、シャワー室、風呂場の壁、ソファなどの汚れが目立ち非常に残念でした。4泊の予約でしたが、シャワー室、風呂場両方のハンドソープがボトルの10分の1ほどしか入っていませんでした。また、バスタブがオシャレなのは良いのですが、床に固定されておらずシャンプーに手を伸ばした際、体重(70kg)でバスタブが傾き、バランスを取ろうとしてシャンプーなどを置いた棚で手を軽く打撲しました。大事には至りませんでしたがその後バスタブは使いませんでした。 和室の床が硬く、敷布団も質が悪かった為に快適に眠ることが出来ませんでした。 シャワー室のトイレとシンクの距離、アングルがトイレ利用に非常に不便でした。 間取りやロケーションは最高なので、上記の安全に関する点と衛生面が改善されるならまた利用したいと思いますし、知人友人にもおススメ致します。

• Bruce (4/5): Photos of different rooms types misleading. - The location is excellent, close to the beach and happenings at the American town 2 blocks over. Kitchen and washing facilities adequate. The photos are of various room types, which is misleading. Unfortunately we didn't get the room type we wanted. Since it's self check-in, there was no easy way of communicating with the host.
• Jennifer (7/5): Spacious apartment with ocean view in Chatan - Spacious apartments with ocean view, across the street from Araha Beach Park. Beds & pillows were comfortable. It appears some improvements have been made, but a couple areas like the shower are still in need of repair/update. One area of improvement is that there was no one available to ask questions about the area or assist on our arrival. Everything is done digitally.

• HYEJIN (10/5): Lovely house - 부모님과 미취학 어린자녀 포함 9명의 대식구가 이용하였습니다. 방이 여러개라서 대식구가 이용하기에 적합합니다. 씻는곳이 여러군데라 편리했고 주방시설이 있어서 너무 좋았어요. 침대뿐만 아니라 요이불이 많아서 어린 자녀들이 바닥에서 자기가 좋았습니다! 방이 사이트의 사진과 동일합니다! 다만 체크인하고 방 찾아가기가 어려웠습니다 202호는 체크인건물 옆건물에 있습니다.

Can Try yakiniku an an for affordable tasty family meal Easy drive to naha, western capes, Eastern islands and from nago. Nice big fridge washing machine facility. spacious comfortable apartment. Had 2 mattresses on floor ( thick and comfortable) and 2 thin futons ( not so comfortable) Thoughtfully placed a beer mug and 2 glasses to chill in fridge Overall a very pleasant stay and would recommend No hooks and rail in toilet to hang clothes and towels to dry. Only one pretty rack I'm living area but not enough to separate towels indoor and outdoor clothes . Would be great to have a row of hooks / rail/ shelving in the long corridor between kitchen bathroom and toilet, Futon quite thin and not comfortable to sleep on if not used to it. Only one low small table difficult for family of non Japanese travellers to have meal at home. . Would be good to have standard dining table and chairs at side , shelving or bench for luggage Our room location on ground floor did not have view of sea as windows opened onto carpark and had to be kept shut but was convenient for getting in and out. I imagine the upper floors would have a good view. It would be good to specify which rooms are on which floor and have view. Washer / drier function difficult to navigate in Japanese despite Google translate. A simple set short wash and separate drier may be more convenient Kitchen has one pot, one pan, one knife, enough plates and bowls for 4. would benefit with scissors and extra knife Hot water intermittently runs out and runs cold for another 10 to 20 sec before getting warm again Would be good to have what's app for communication Overall a lovely clean spacious Japanese style apartment in good location but must be aware that facilities and furnishings may not be what a non Japanese traveler may be used to
• Stuart (10/5): - Absolutely loved this property! Nothing bad to say about it at all. Best location. Could watch the kids from the balcony at the pirate ship park. Beautiful beach. Spa was great. Shops and dining all within walking distance. Even got to watch the fireworks at America Village from our balcony. Cant wait to visit again!

• Anna (7/5): Fine - Very big appartment, with 2 sleepingrooms and one additional, but looking more like storage room. Kitchen was very well equiped. Separate bathroom and toilet. Jacuzzi in leaving room with see view:) comfortable dofa and big TV. To reach the appartment you need to climb up to 2nd floor with no elevater, you go through restaurant back, no light on the stairs, very smelly and ugly:( No hot watter in the bathroom!!! Wirde design of one room,with catlle horn over the bed.

• Renu (9/5): It was a great stay. We would like to say again in the future! - It was perfect for our family to enjoy the beach and meals together. Staff was helpful and responded quickly to questions via chat. The bathroom/shower door needs to be fixed. No matter how hard you try water leaks out to the floor outside and had to use lots of towels to clean up. Also, need hooks or shelves, there is no place to hang clothes or towels except put them on the floor. There are many ants that get on the clothes. Need a shelf inside for the shampoo and conditioner to be placed rather than on the floor. Also, need mirrors and hooks to hang towels in both bathrooms.
• Shamila (1/5): Horrible - The location of the property on the beach It was so many things. The place has to many steps. The place smelled like mold and mildew. There was mold and mildew in the shower. It was not cleaned at all. The furniture was torn and worn out. There were no English instructions on anything such as the washing machine any of the appliances or the remotes. The balcony is unsafe as the floor is starting to sag and it is missing a lot of tiles. The Bathroom ceiling is also sagging and will fall in soon. We were not told how to operate the hot water. There is a restaurant that shares the building to which there is an iron gate that is used to go up and down. Someone locked the gate from the outside and we could not get in. Thank God someone was passing. As the gate was very rusted and we could not open it. When reaching out to staff they were no help. The only thing I was told was sorry for the inconvenience.

Bug spray was provided. Didn’t enjoy music in the morning from the tiki bar above us or the light let in from the windows but eye masks and ear plugs helped.
• Ho (9/5): It was very pleasant, and really value for money. - The view is great. The sunset is spectacular. The location is great. The room is spacious and got almost everything you need. The resort does not offer services like a hotel but is very suitable for a short stay (we stayed for about a week). It’s all good! The only issue we came across was that, to access the suite, we need to go up the staircase at the back of the building and pass by the back door of the restaurant. The staircase is a hit shabby and not very pleasant.

It had everything you could think of, including washer/dryer (and even detergent!), vacuum/mop, and everything you need to cook and eat with. They really thought of everything! The location is also perfect!

• Jennifer (10/5): Wonderful like a little apartment - Steps to the beach! Great space, quiet and comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and fully functioning kitchen, AC wall units in each room and a small back porch too.
• Colleen (8/5): Very good - The location was great- close to the beach and walking distance to American Village and a lot of good restaurants in the area. Management of the area very responsive when we requested more toilet paper (even though we didn’t see anyone at the front desk - I sent an email) The room itself was big and comfortable, but there could have been more storage in the bathroom area (for towels, toiletries, hanging up clothes) and kitchen area (counter space for prep or putting away food that didn’t need refrigeration).
