- Marie-Linda (4/5): - I'm a solo lady traveller, that travelled around Turkey for a month. I stayed here for 5 nights because of the Hostel location only. It needs renovation, few things are broken and never got fixed. A dorm of 6 females & 2 bathrooms was good, but 1 bathroom was smelling & molding so bad, we didn't use it. Then, another female dorm shower broke down & flooded so the owner told the girls to use the shower in our room without warning us. The girls would come in the middle of the night even. It stopped after I went downstairs to complain. I was very annoyed when I asked the "owner" couple questions about Istanbul and all he wanted to do is sell me organized tours to make money. Us, backpackers, are staying away from that. He never answered my questions and another fellow traveller was standing beside me and told me about couple places that I shouldn't miss.... The other staff heard us chatting and very loud said:" Just shut up and let him sale his tour". Both shocked, we spoke another language and both left. How could u talked to your customers like this.... They were both trying to be very flattering with us girls. When they realized it didn't work, they weren't talking to us anymore !

- SZABÓ (10/5): Nice place near to Aya Sofya - I have been visiting frequently Murat’s place for years and I am very content because the personnel are very friendly, the rooms are clean and nice. One gets a very good price for the place near to the most of the attractions of Sultanahmet. The bathrooms were renovated last year and they look great. The terrace is very nice and gives an opportunity to eat, work, have a drink with friends. If needed Murat organises tours not only in Istanbul but in other parts of the country too. I recommend this place to everyone.

- Yoshy (8/5): 1st time in Istanbul - It’s good if you stay for couple of nights. Keep in mind that you are paying for the convenience of the location, the place is not fancy. The property pictures should be updated. However, their staff is friendly and I personally had good chats with Jimmy.

- Ananya (10/5): Amazing service! - I stayed here for one night during my recent trip to Istanbul. The hotel owner is very friendly and helpful. He answered my questions promptly even before I arrived at the hotel. He helped arrange a cab to the airport for me early in the morning. I was able to store my luggage a little before check in time as well which was super helpful. The place was clean, and close to the major attractions. Would highly recommend this property for your stay 🙂

Also close to A.Sofia and Blue mosk, Grand Bazzar. 🇰🇷시설 깔끔하고 화장실도 깨끗합니다. 사장님 영어 가능하시고 굉장히 친절하십니다. 주요 관광지까지 도보 20분 내외입니다. 제 기준 아야 소피아 일대 1~2분(진짜 앞에 있는 주차장만 가로지르면 아야 소피아 입니다), 그랜드바자르 20분, 백종원 카이막 집 15분, 백종원 돈두르마 카다이프 집 15분입니다. 이스탄불 관광 시 탁심 쪽에 숙소 잡고 탁심/베식타쉬 관광, 내려와서 여기 잡고 일대 관광하는 방법 나쁘지 않은 듯 합니다.
- Tobias (8/5): - Es handelt sich um ein Hostel, daher sind die Ansprüche hier eher geringer. Ein Vier-Bett Zimmer war für 2 Personen gerade ausreichend von der Größe. Auf dem Dach gibt es eine Terrasse mit Küche - hier wurden aber gerade Umbauten durchgeführt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Bathroom was functional. It definitely wasn't cleaned every day. All around, for the price and location, this hostel is recommended.

- Diana Laura (10/5): 100% recomendable - Una de mis mejores experiencias considerando que es un hostel, el personal super amigable y respetuoso y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. en la recepción siempre hay alguien e incluso me dieron la habitación antes porque llegue super temprano, me hospede en una habitación sólo para mujeres que tenía el espacio suficiente y lockers para guardar las cosas ademas de baño privado, las camas hacían mucho ruido pero fuera de eso de lo mejor, lo recomiendo al 100%

The young employee or staff who works night time on the desk, he over night talked with his customer on his desk and I did not slept because the desk person never stop to talk. Also one building is attached to Avrasya Hostel. The attached building is very Dangeriois building because the local city building department already put sign on the building. On sign wrote “ do not approach to this building because this building is very Dangeriois”
- angelique (10/5): Good for a hostel , great location! - I love how close it was Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque just 1-2 minute walk. Good simple breakfast with Turkish coffee. I have to thank a young man who carried my 20 kg luggage up 2 floors, i wanted to give a tip but i had no change. Thank you for your hospitality.
- SZABÓ (10/5): Nice stay in heart of Sultanahmet - I feel in Avrasya Hostel like in my own home. The location of the hostel is perfect, 100 meters from Hagia Sophia, Topkapi, 150 meters from the Sultanahmet tram station. I am normally in a six person mixed room. That room is clean, spatious, the bathroom is also clean. The breakfast is rich enough to start a day. I know Murat since 2015 so I can say that he's doing his best to offer a good place to those who come here to spend their holiday. If one wishes to have a tour in Istanbul or elsewhere in Turkey, there is a possibility to arrange it in the hostel. I did it too. I recommend this place to everyone.

- mohammad sadegh (10/5): perfect great amazing - great great great great great great great great never i wont forget this hostel. this hostel will be my home in turkey .after some difficulties in turkey i came to this hostel and i forgot all difficulties. they were like my family. freindly. we had everynigth party. if you go to this hostel you wont need to night club anymore. for sure i will come back there soon. and i will wait for you there. becuase this hostel is great to finde new people and make new friends . i will wait for you there very soon. dont think anymore if you want to have fun just choose this hostel.i am so thank full.

The owner can also hook you up with a great price for hot air balloon ride in Pamukkale ;) Keep in mind that they charge for tea, coffee, towels. Do not get shared room, it's big and crowded. 6 person rooms are much much better!
