  The apartment has an open-plan kitchen/diner and Lounge. The apartment can be let as one bedroom or two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are doubles with en suite. Bathrooms have complimentary toiletries. Hairdryers, irons and ironing boards are provided. • Wendy (9/5): Lovely apartment with everything you needed. - I wasn’t expecting a welcome pack which was a nice touch and not mentioned when I booked the property. The property was nice and clean and the beds were really comfortable, both showers were a good size, one being an open large walk in type. Nice lounge with kitchen area and all the facilities you needed plus a small outdoor garden with a table and chairs. Struggled with the heating and didn’t manage to get it on. Could of done with a larger milk but it wasn’t advertised as providing any so can’t really complain.

• Stuart (8/5): It was perfect for our brief stay. - Neat, spacious and well located. The essentials and a few extras (tea/coffee/milk/cereal) welcomed us. We could hear people from within the property through the adjoining door. The main room only has an opaque/frosted glass wall separating the bed to the toilet. This wall doesn’t stop noise ,odour or light if one needs to use the bathroom at night?

• SJ (10/5): Spacious bedrooms for a switch off staycation. - Lovely cozy feel. We had been given a welcome pack that was a god send as we arrived later evening. We ordered a dominos and then went to bed. Fabulously comfy nights sleep. We were up and out by 8:15. Thank you! We arrived last to park and had a bit of a time 3 point turning - but that was all. It was lovely and relaxing and the secure garden would have been great if we had the little ones with us.

• Mark (10/5): Outstanding service, exceptional apartment. - Absolutely Beautiful apartment, 5 minutes drive from the airport. Easily accessible, free onsite parking and comfortable beds. There was bread, cereals, coffee and tea available for breakfast, which was a very pleasant surprise. The Castle Inn was only 100 yards away, in which we enjoyed a wonderful evening meal. My mother-in-law lost her necklace during our stay. When I phoned up to enquire if it had been found, we were overjoyed to hear that it had been handed in by the cleaner. Although it wasn't a particularly expensive necklace, it held great sentimental value due to it having a photo of my mother-in-laws late husband. This was returned to our home address via post and was waiting when we arrived home. Thank You DBS for an exceptional experience both the apartment and giving us the belief that honesty and integrity still exist. Excellent on all counts.

• Rebecca (9/5): Would stay again - Spotlessly clean. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Lovely large shower room in one room and a good ensuite in the other. Peaceful area with a nice seating area outside. Easy entrance with great signs to find it. Nice to have a little welcome pack but a shop just across the road for anything else we needed. Really nice to have some basics there like washing up liquid, tea, coffee and sugar. I think £10 for each hour of an early check in takes away the good value of the place. Steep stairs to the bedrooms. Would have been nice if there was a toilet downstairs - due to the staircase. There were only 2 of us which worked well but would be a bit small downstairs with seating on the sofa etc if there were more of us.

Conveniently located across the road from a Spar shop.6 mins drive away from Donington Park Farmhouse where I got married 🥰 perfect base for getting bridesmaids ready! Nothing we disliked!

• Kelly (9/5): Absolutely fantastic home from home in a beautiful location. - The property was very clean and warm. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the garden was perfect for my cocker spaniel Oscar. Dishwasher did not work sadly. I tried two different cycles but the dishes were still dirty. A small niggle too that one of the lights next to the bed didn’t work. Probably just a bulb needing changing.

• Andrea (5/5): Ok on the whole - The property had private parking and easy access to East Midlands Airport. The stairs to the bedroom are winding are very steep and not great for people with walking difficulties or small children. Huge step into one bedroom which can be a hazard. My partner woke up and fell when he came out the bedroom as the step is very steep. Smoke alarm battery needed changing as it bleeped all night which interrupted sleep and ceilings too high to reach. There were some good points to mention such as a small hamper of essentials was lovely after a long flight back and the property was warm and comfortable. Bathrooms in both bedrooms which are large and equipped with fresh towels. Price was probably more than expected for stay but smoke alarm issue probably didn’t help.

• Karen (3/5): It looked lovely but was disappointing because we were cold and had a very disturbed night. - Good location and lovely furnished bedrooms and bathrooms. Heating was turned down when we arrived, all radiators in bedrooms turned off, one window slightly open letting cold air in and by the time the radiators started to warm up they switched off for the night. We went to bed cold and then the smoke alarm in one of the bedrooms kept bleeping in the early hours of the morning and kept us all awake. I’ve contacted the property about these issues but they have not replied to me!

Really comfortable. Situated in a gorgeous village with ample restaurants. Can highly recommend ‘Curry Tonight’, one of the best Indian meals we’ve ever had! An additional comfortable chair would have been useful in the lounge as we were 4 people, but not a big issue.

The joining instructions were clear and accurate and the property was well signposted. difficult to fault. It took me ages to find some light switches…but …err..that’s it.

We arrived on a Sunday with most shops closed but brought a bottle of wine with us. A wine corker would have been useful. Well equipped kitchen but no wine bottle opener & no where open to buy one. The stairs to the first floor bedrooms & bathroom are not suitable for non ambulant people.
